This is a good strategy….Except for one thing…..You shouldnt continue betting the dont if the shooter makes two points in a row and knocks out your dont bet….Instead switch to the pass line….Or just stop betting against that shooter until they 7 out.
I coded many strategies to look though 603 rolls from a casino this is the one that did the best, the only other one that came up positive was hard ways betting.
My interest in Craps comes and goes. I don’t gamble much but when I start to get the itch to go throw dice these vids get me back in the right head space.. Thanks for the vids bro.
i pl;ay this from the dont and hedge the dont pass . i also play the 4 thru 10 with the field bets also . with the field bets you get the 2 4 9 10 12 that will end up paying double / and then i farm either the horn or hard ways . you woulda made and extra 100 easily on that last roll maybe 200 if you played the horn . NICE ROLL . sometimes il add money to the point which can be a winner and at least pays so that your not losing quite as much . its a very diverse craps system with actually little risk on short rolls and pays well on long rolls . YOU JUST CANNOT LOOSE ALOT IF HEDGED EVENLY . AFTER 1 OR 2 HITS YOUR ALREADY EVEN .
After 5 hits you've recouped your money, so if you're not the shooter, you should pick up the don't pass, yeah? Reduce the risk of losing that money on a point hit like at 8:25.
So far, I like this strategy the best. Will be trying it next time I play. Thanks!..........and I think Ill add an extra 200 for the 12 bets...feeling lucky!
Great video as always, your channel is the reason I got into craps. Question: by "unit" I thought it was the minimum bet, in this case 10, is a unit then always 5 then? If you go up by a unit in a place bet, would it then mean the minimum bet?
Good question, I think people use it interchangeable and the dealer figures out what you mean. I use/believe a unit is always $5/6 after the minimum is met.
3 units is 15.00 perfectly acceptable. Unit is part out you bankroll, so a session bankroll would have say 50 units or 250.00. Even if it were 25.00 table would be 5 units min bet. JMO
The "Unit" is your betting strategy, so if you are doing say $10 as your unit bet then all the strategies go up in $10 increments so if we use the Fibonacci sequence it will be $10, $10, $20, $30, $50, $80, $130, $210, $440 etc. if it was $5 then it would be 5,5,10,15,25,40,65,105,170,285,455 etc. so the "Unit" is linked to your own betting strategy
Had a guy like this last week, playing don't but rolling super hot, he ended up leaving the table after losing his bankroll, we tried to get him back to cover so he could keep shooting but couldn't find him
Hedging by betting Don't Pass is like betting all red and all black on roulette, lol. Doesn't make much sense. Yeah, you'll "win" no matter what happens, but the game is set up to where you wont actually profit that way. Thank you for the video regardless and have a good day.

Casinos love system players. Hell, if you are a high roller, they will fly you in for free and comp you everything you can ask for just so you can play your "can't lose" system.

So he played 3 point Molly and was banned from casinos? That’s a very low house edge system, but casino still has edge. Love to know his name and ask him for details.

J, I like how you are thinking. At the beginning of Covid I started tweaking a lot of your methods to do a couple things. 1, reduce exposure to a bankroll (reduce risk of ruin). 2, make back what you have risked in less rolls. 3, to lower to cumulative house edge of your total bets. using your (and mine) favorite method I developed something close to this, but with much less exposure to your bankroll. I even made a response video, but haven't found the time to post it.
Last time I saw $5 table was 7 years ago in LV. On the east coast, haven't seen one under $15 in Atlantic City or PARX in PA for years. I don't think they exist anymore on the weekends at least.
Can’t speak for east coast, but I played at couple $5 in Vegas on weekends during pandemic. Of course not on the strip. $5 exist all over country, just depends on the market. Maryland, from all reports is most $$$ in country and usually $25-$50
Hi Color Up! Interesting stategy I like the Patrick System more than this. There are too many risks here. #1 Is beating the 7 on the come out roll. #2 Is you put yourself at more risk getting a 6 or 8 point here. #3 Seems like you are trying too hard here to cover everything and in turn you are trading dollars too much.
I dealt craps for 35 years when people came in and wanted to play this system we would immediately get that name an address.. And we would send a limo for them any time they wanted to play.... And we would feed them to make sure they wouldn't leave.
A hedge in any system exists to recoup SOME money. The closer you hedge to win most or all of what you have bet, the closer you get to your hedge becoming your main bet. I like this but I’d hedge less. You said it yourself, you have to have 7 hits to get your money back. The system here is the iron cross. If you’re betting $60 then just put $20 on don’t pass and recoup 1/3 but lose way less wgeh the point comes. That’s a hedge
Once your don’t pass bet gets past the come out roll , statistically you have a better chance of winning than you do on the pass line because 7 is the most common number on the dice
However, with that in mind I will play on short term patterns, so say 3-4 people have crapped out before hitting a point and the next shooter rolls a 6 or an 8. I will go with my gut and bet with the shooter and I tell you what it does pay out more than often
I like this strategy quite a bit - already a fan of the iron cross, love the hedge addition. How would you recommend to adjust to a $15 table? Still 3 and 2 units? Or a lower amount given the higher min?
Are we better off playing the don't or wait for a couple of hits (say 3) and then place a don't come equal to your line bets and turn off the line bets?
Depends, you are risking more on the come out when the 7-11 has 8 ways to get ya, vs just $10...but it can work out just fine if ya like. Collect and press could be added to anything and do well with long rolls
@@AudianPaxson not the best way to hedge a $30 DP bet, because Any Seven is only a one roll bet and gets too expensive. a better way would be to Lay the 4 or 10 for $60 with a Hardway 4 or 10 bet for $8, then turn these bets OFF after the CO roll.
If you are dealing with $25 table min? if you have $25 in field you want a higher unit on 5/6/8, at least $30/$36 I would say, but could do more based on your comfort level
I will never understand the fascination with the 'Iron Cross'. All bets are independent in craps. So you think you will win more money by adding in a bet with a higher house edge from your place bets? (House edge: 5/9 - 4%, 6/8 - 1.52%, field - 5.56%). At least the don't hedge as a low house edge, but can still kill you when hitting points as you were. By simply playing $66 inside for this string of rolls you win $282. Not to be expected, but you were rolling a lot of numbers and points.
Thera no system in any casino game that works every time if there was the casinos would be closed. But this is a great system to play have a good time have a few drinks earn some comps without the risk of loosing 500 in 10 minutes which I have done many times playing craps the main reason I only play poker now.
Why not just buy the point so you can break even on the don’t pass??? If the point is 10 and I hit the field or a 6/8 I would then buy the 10 for $15 instead of laying to hedge my DP bet yea I will win a little less on the dp but I would also lose a lot less on the point given there is a hot shooter situation otherwise Keep laying and not buying points
If you going to play it like this video and hedge the 7 you need to be on that don't pass. Many people play the iron cross without it. just the 5,6,8, and field.
If you don't feel that way, keep betting the DC until all your chips are out on all 6 points and then watch as the shooter picks them all off 1 by 1. Usually on the last one, one die will come to rest and the other will spin like a top for a few seconds. Then you'll start to question things. Oh, and remember.....you are the only REAL player at the table. The others are a team that cleans you out one at a time as you fill the empty space at the table, lol.
No need to hedge.. I play at 100 level which is 25 30 30 and a 15 field ALWAYS working.. 3 field hits or 2 place hits and take all money down.. 2 place hits wouldve paid 70 - the 30 to replenish the field so 40 profit... Take 32 of that and place across leaving you with a 8 dollar profit minimum. Now its press and collect time
Hey brother so I got a new strategy going u may know what this is called I start with a 5 on the dont and place 2 on the any seven once point is established i max odds on dont pass then start a come bet with 15$ i increase the come by 5$ every roll up to 35$ then reset to 15 or until seven comes out as make a 15$ come out bet i also go 32$ across now once you move your come out for the come bet you remove your place or buy bet according to where your come bet goes no point on double betting same number now thats my best winning strategy its a great long roll strategy along with a short roll hedging the seven I've played with ya on some of your games and won a few lol anyways do you know what this is called cause its a really good strategy also u can play the field as you want but not necessarily the base of this strategy
I got a name...give your money away.Only one way to play craps, bet on pass and take single odds. You can also bet on come or if you want to go against shooter don't come or don't pass and take single odds.If you start to win increase your odds portion and not your flat bet.In the long run you'll lose around .75 for every $100.00 you wager. That's the best way to limit your losses, have some fun and occasionally walk away a winner.
At 17:39, you hit your point of 4, but there were 6 winning numbers in between. Couldn't you have taken all your bets down, including Don't (assuming you are not the shooter), after you made money after 4th, 5th, or 6th hit? And what's the point of laying odds for Don't Pass? You laid $60 only to win a portion back, but if $60 is part of Don't Pass bet, then you win $60.
By the 9 min mark you were still down -$30 overall. This strategy is not a very good strategy unless you are trying to build comps. Overall, it will net you very small winnings or small to medium losses while you earn points and comps at a casino. This strategy is more for someone that wants to feel like they are doing something without spending too much money. I play regular iron cross all the time. The main thing to do with an iron cross strategy is two things. The first is you start with roll #1 (51 action inside 5,6,8 and 10 in the field). If the roller get to roll #7 and you haven't lost yet, you take your bets down. 6x11 = 66 positive. The second thing you do is hit and run. Don't stay at the same table too long. You can also do regression strategy if you have big money: (300 each on 5,6,8 and 100 field). Regress by half after each roll. Roll 1 = 1,000 risk, Roll 2 = 525 risk, Roll 3 = 352 risk, Roll 4 = 270 risk, Roll 5 = 61 risk and eventually turn off or take down your bet on roll #7.
If you’re pressing, I suspect that the best way to approach it is to see if a trend can be discerned…e.g. are a lot of field numbers being rolled? If so, press up the field. Same logic if the numbers are hitting. Make sense?
this will backfire many times because your exposure to the 7. on the 4th roll you lose 2 units if a 7 is rolled, on the 5th roll you lose 5 units if a 7 is rolled, etc. you are fine for the first 3 rolls since you will not lose any money if the 7 is rolled.
@@ColorUp Can you do video with the Iron Cross and Don’t with odds. But protect the Dont and odds with a place bet on the point number? I don’t know how much to place it. Hey, my man... take your time during the rolls. OK, once a roll happens, win or lose, the dealer need time to make payouts, or collect. You roll too fast. Our bets depend on the shooter's pace We depend on good shooters and good dealers. It was a good time I went to pitt about a week ago 1st time playing, started at a 10 dollar and jumped up to a 15 dollar after about a half hour of being at the table, took 150 and was there for about 2 hours before tapping out, again good experience but a 5 dollar table would be nice to see... uggg
Wow surprised you lasted that long with only $150...those higher limit tables are too uncomfortable for me, I’ll be waiting till pandemic restrictions go away and hopefully table limits lower
@@thethewillingwell Rocky Gap runs $5 tables during the week earlier in the day. From PA also.
For $75 an hour I'll teach you how to come home a winner.
This is a good strategy….Except for one thing…..You shouldnt continue betting the dont if the shooter makes two points in a row and knocks out your dont bet….Instead switch to the pass line….Or just stop betting against that shooter until they 7 out.
Maybe a nickel on the hardway point to hedge a bit more.
Thanks, that feedback means a lot to me.
i pl;ay this from the dont and hedge the dont pass . i also play the 4 thru 10 with the field bets also . with the field bets you get the 2 4 9 10 12 that will end up paying double /
and then i farm either the horn or hard ways . you woulda made and extra 100 easily on that last roll maybe 200 if you played the horn . NICE ROLL . sometimes il add money to the point which can be a winner and at least pays so that your not losing quite as much .
its a very diverse craps system with actually little risk on short rolls and pays well on long rolls .
Yep ... would love to see this system played out with a nickle hard way hedge on the point.
Yes that’s a great idea. Also to help with the hedge you can place a bet on the Number to help cover the DP when the # hits.
I like to arrange the dice in a snake eye pattern and then throw them. I did that last weekend hit my point nine times
Very good strategy. Should work if you hit 3 times and pull your bets down
So far, I like this strategy the best. Will be trying it next time I play. Thanks!..........and I think Ill add an extra 200 for the 12 bets...feeling lucky!
this system is great to lose all your money then give out B.J s on the corner for bus fare back home
You can get home on one if you swallow.
LOL!!!

Did this today. Had a personal best roll today 21 rolls was vary happy
the funny thing is, is that the strategy has nothing to do with how many rolls you get in a row haha
I know I was just super happy and been learn from these videos
Welcome to the game!

Ha ok

Casinos love system players. Hell, if you are a high roller, they will fly you in for free and comp you everything you can ask for just so you can play your "can't lose" system.
@g male casinos like all players, system or otherwise, in the end they win
Wouldn't it be cheaper to lay on whatever the point is and eliminate the odds on the come out roll?
Only player I ever saw win on a regular basis, played a line bet with max odds and 2 come bets with max odds. He won 70% of the time. Stopped at 20k loss. As soon as the hot roll came, he colored up and went home. He is barred from at least 12 casinos. I was a craps dealer for 2 decades.
So he played 3 point Molly and was banned from casinos? That’s a very low house edge system, but casino still has edge. Love to know his name and ask him for details.

$30 on 6 & 8
$20 on 4 & 10

If 8 rolled the $20 on 9
If 4 is rolled then $20 on
If 10 is rolled then $20 on 9
J, I like how you are thinking. I even made a response video, but haven't found the time to post it.
look forward to seeing
Yeah me two
If you want to make back what you have risked in less rolls, just go everything you have on Don't as soon as you walk in. You will win, I can FEEL it.
This is more like the old game of hazard where you try to avoid the point.

Thanks, not every strategy will be your favorite
Thank you for putting this video together and showing some different ideas.
Use the iron cross to pay for your 4, 9,10 and get out of the field. The field is a suckers bet at even money.
This is great on a COLD TABLE...
I dealt craps for 35 years when people came in and wanted to play this system we would immediately get that name an address.. And we would send a limo for them any time they wanted to play.... And we would feed them to make sure they wouldn't leave.
Sure
A hedge in any system exists to recoup SOME money. The closer you hedge to win most or all of what you have bet, the closer you get to your hedge becoming your main bet. I like this but I’d hedge less. You said it yourself, you have to have 7 hits to get your money back. The system here is the iron cross. If you’re betting $60 then just put $20 on don’t pass and recoup 1/3 but lose way less wgeh the point comes. That’s a hedge
So I'm not using exact percentages, but.. basically.. seems like you need 6 rolls to break even, is that about right?
Pretty sick! I will; have to try this. Thanks for posting.
You bet!
Wouldn’t it make sense to possibly play your gut on the shooter and switch the bet to a pass?
That’s what I would like to know
Once your don’t pass bet gets past the come out roll , statistically you have a better chance of winning than you do on the pass line because 7 is the most common number on the dice
Some people play the cross with equal units on the 5/6/8 and field. I think that’s not as effective as having more unit on 5/6/8.
Are we better off playing the don't or wait for a couple of hits (say 3) and then place a don't come equal to your line bets and turn off the line bets?
If I knew the answer I’d be millionaire :) seriously though, it just depends on how the dice roll
Great video, always enjoy your video's. Keep up the great work for the Craps community.
Thanks, will do!
Should the different bets be specific amounts in order to hedge for the 7?
at 1235 I'm like, "PRESS THE 5". Good video.
After you have made 4 hits, you can reduce the don't pass odds. That way if you do hit point, you are even. If you hit 7, you are even.
Nice tweek
I like this. Was thinking, how about starting with 30 don't and then no odds. Keep others the same but collect the press on the 5, 6, or 8?
Depends, you are risking more on the come out when the 7-11 has 8 ways to get ya, vs just $10...but it can work out just fine if ya like. Collect and press could be added to anything and do well with long rolls
Sure, many different ways you can play it
@@ColorUp so can you play this strategy on 5 dollar tables if so would it be 30 for the odds bet
Help me with the math. When you start with the Don't pass with a $25 bet, what are you bets on the 5,6 and 8? Thanks.
If you are dealing with $25 table min? if you have $25 in field you want a higher unit on 5/6/8, at least $30/$36 I would say, but could do more based on your comfort level
@@ColorUp thanks for the quick answer. Enjoying the videos.
Only have to roll 6 if you don't hedge the don't pass
I like this strategy 👍🏻 with the hedge
I like this strategy but depending on the shooter I’d probably play the pass bet.
I think people like the action for on every roll?
@@ColorUp No doubt you are correct about this.
can you make a video of $5 min bet
Wow nice rolling CU!! Nice little hedge system. I like it!!
bit of a newbie. Could you farm on the come-out rolls?
Yep, one roll bet, anytime. Many do it to cover the craps 2/3/12
Can you hedge this with a martingale system?
Every video I've watched, my strategy has been the best. It hurts me watching all these losses haha.
Submit yours with dice advice form on my website colorup.club
@ David T What is your strategy may I ask? Thanks
When the point is being established. Can I place a field bet or any bets in the middle?
Yes, those are all one roll bets and can be made at anytime
Thera no system in any casino game that works every time if there was the casinos would be closed. But this is a great system to play have a good time have a few drinks earn some comps without the risk of loosing 500 in 10 minutes which I have done many times playing craps the main reason I only play poker now.
I just don’t like playing dont
Most players also do not like donts.
Pretty sure it's $20 minimum to buy. But when you DO buy, toss him $40 and say "Buy the 10 for 39". Gets the most mileage out of your $1 vig.
Second half: 23/35 in FIELD: + 13/22 = 36/57.
Is there a point in a roll that if you had a really hot shooter you would start a collect and press strategy on the place bets?
Absolutely, up to you to decide when.
Just load 'em up when you see me pick up the dice and play like your place and buy bets are invincible for the next 20+ rolls.
You got to play the line all the time, even if you're not the shooter to make the strategy work?
If you going to play it like this video and hedge the 7 you need to be on that don't pass. Many people play the iron cross without it. just the 5,6,8, and field.
How about do you have any idea if you feel being cheated? Thanks
It can feel that way when losing money. If you have evidence, contact the state gaming commission that oversees the casino
Whats the dont pass bet if the table minimum is 25 dollars
I wuld not lay odd on 6 and 8 is that a good strategy? since 6 and 8 are too common?
Just depends how the dice roll, the 7 is always the most common number.
Now its press and collect time
That’s fine, some people are more risk adverse, and prefer to hedge and win less. Some like yourself like to go for it.
Not sure, I guess you just need to come up with a name for it :)
Give it a whirl some time brother and let me know what you think the only downside is hitting you point immediately
Same at 24:03. Point is 8. You rolled 7 winning numbers. Bring bets down or reduce bets so you profit.
34 rolls before the 7, wow, why don't that happen to me?
Well, roll in videos for 3-4 years and sometimes it happens haha

It's that good clean living.
Roll 1 = 1,000 risk, Roll 2 = 525 risk, Roll 3 = 352 risk, Roll 4 = 270 risk, Roll 5 = 61 risk and eventually turn off or take down your bet on roll #7.
thanks for watching, and sharing your ideas
Why not press (or power press) to make this strategy less of a grind?
You can, adjust to your comfort level
If you’re pressing, I suspect that the best way to approach it is to see if a trend can be discerned…e.g. are a lot of field numbers being rolled? If so, press up the field. Same logic if the numbers are hitting. Make sense?
What was the win or loss for the session?
+125 the numbers are on screen
How about not playing the don’t and instead bet in the come every roll (increasing the bet by 1 unit each time)?
Sure, completely different strategy
@ Dan: I get it Dan but please explain more about it and what success you've had with it. Thanks
this will backfire many times because your exposure to the 7. on the 4th roll you lose 2 units if a 7 is rolled, on the 5th roll you lose 5 units if a 7 is rolled, etc. you are fine for the first 3 rolls since you will not lose any money if the 7 is rolled.
