I love seeing all my favorite tech youtubers in the same video.
I recently bought the z flip 5 and I support your review. I like the form factor and I can live with the compromise of camera and battery. The workmanship and customer support are excellent. I like the UI 5 and flipform when watching videos. Folding into a smaller phone is great for everyday usage. Rather than a massive slab of glass.
My Z Flip 5 is great. Downloaded Good Lock, so I use the outer display about 70% of the time. Cameras could be better, but Flex mode is quite useful. I find the control panel useful in Flex mode. From my perspective it is much more innovative than the Flip 4.
Is the selfie camera better than the flip 4
So flex mode makes the camera quality better?
Camera optimization is better than the 4 and tge Flex mode is mire useful.

I'm a little bit confused with the battery usage if You can clear that up, is this 3:25h using the big display (or overall screen-time) and you are on 18% already ?
This was interesting. Not only did we get to know about the daily experience of a Z flip user but also we got to see how it compares with the Other flips out there.
Also this History and General knowledge lessons in the video were very cool. New York what a mysterious place!
I have a s23 ultra and a 14pro and a pixel 7pro this flip phone is really great battery isn't as good as s23u but the form factor and cover are a joy to use , great review.

The flip phones still lacking in the camera department is annoying. Have you run the "moon test" on this samsung phone? I feel like that is a requirement with their phones. Will we be getting an Xperia 5 mark V test?
I'm not even thinking of buying this phone, I'm using a Pixel Fold, but I love your Day in the Life format so much that I had to watch it as soon as the notification popped up. Another great video. I really want to try that coffee at the beginning, it looks great.

Have the Flip 5. Crease doesn't bother me. But with the Good Lock module, I use the cover display about 60% of the time.

another great video! i've been a fan of your videos since pre-pandemic, and ever since, I've been a bit biased on how tech reviewers do a tech review, whether it be phone or laptop or anything else.
i do also agree with your statement that Samsung wouldn't have done the big screen feature for flip 5 if Motorola hadn't released their own [much improved] flip phone. and, i wish 787 coffee has a branch in our country, i'd really love to try it! waiting for more videos like this! kudos to you!
I upgraded from a crappy motorola phone and man this thing is insane. It feels so high quality and is snappy as hell, when you click on an app it immediately opens without any delay it's pretty great. Highly recommended but be warned the back glass scratches EASILY, whereas the front does not which is bizarre. Just make sure to get a good case and screen protector.

So what differences between the razr40 plus/ ultra and the Z Flip 5 did you experience, and what are your pro' s and cons for both devices?
Z flip 3 user here - actually noticed recently that RUclips has its own flex mode panel with playback controls, so I turned the Samsung flex mode off on the app.
Maybe as we get more pixel folds and pixel flips android will get better support from 1st party apps...

I've had my Z Flip 5 for 4 days now i freaking love it!!! And i also got a great deal for it at best buy after buying a open boxed one that was defective i got a brand new replacement for the same price of $761.99 for the 512gb in graphite.

About the Flex Mode and the control panel, what would be REALLY neat and make the panel useful would be to cast only the upper part of the app in Flex mode via DeX or whatever to a monitor.
They already have both technologies, it's just about make it work together.
Yeh. The only real problem is the Z Flip 5 doesn’t support Dex.

Hi, i dont know if it's just my flip 5, but every time i take a video, especially outdoors on Max Brightness, my phone gets hot very quickly, and my video begins to lag? Does anyone have the same issue?

My z flip 5 which i bought is incredible
The non-night photos of the gate looked way better than the night photos.
It's also pretty impressive considering that just a few years ago, all four of those photos would look like blobby messes.
Am pretty sure Samsung would have had this outer display planned before Motorola did it.. otherwise how did they have it ready to release so soon after Motorola did it?

I imagined the Fold 5 to be a double flip phone side by side.. and it makes more sense for a wide fold phone instead of the current design choice

Hey I bet that 3 story is haunted or some kind of ghost that chills out every now and then. 😂. Does the phone collect pocket dust , I had the fold 3 every time I open it I have wipe it down , I tried using different detergents on my clothes and it’s always the same it’s a magnet for pocket dust

I'm going to get this phone as a secondary phone but I don't think this phone battery would hold up for a main phone.

Why do the Pixel photos look so out of focus?
About the outer displays, the difference is that Motorola made a little smartphone of it, while Samsung made a large smartwatch.

@@dustinn6075 out of the box, Samsung made an interface clearly inspired in it's Galaxy smartwatch line, the widgets and all. While Motorola allowed a normal smartphone usage.

I like the design and layout of the phone but I had a s20 fe and I brought a s23 plus with 256 gb. If I brought this phone it would have been a down grade

Traded in my 128GB S23 for 512GB Z Flip 5! battery is the same/better than the S23!
Thought the selfie was worse per the inside camera from last years...
video seems really blurry even at 4K. Can't tell if it's RUclips's compression, or if the cameras on the Flip 5 are legitimately that awful.

If you appreciate these tech reviews and you caring around four or five cameras and setting up, taking pictures, taking them all back packing up, going again lather rinse repeat

Sadly these kind of devices are highly expensive unless you get the "sponsorship" some companies provide when you buy it with carrier contracts, which I think Is what Samsung has done more than having a better device, even if this one is pretty good.
