So yes of course they don't want to come here. We also send them back if they are registered first at another place. Germany is a Christian and Humanist society, those are the values it was founded on and they've been the focus since long before the world wars. They place significant focus on altruism (doing things for the benefit of other, less fortunate people) and the universal, inherent dignity of every human (meaning you don't create - or ignore - situations in which said human dignity is threatened, and that applies to ALL humans, not just your own citizens).
No one will forget what Germany did in WW2. Germany itself specifically doesn't WANT it to be forgotten, that's why there is such a massive focus on remembrance of past atrocities in our education, art and collective culture in general. Oblivion is _surely_ not the intent behind any of Germany's actions today.
It's all fun and games to have that line in a humorous video where all countries' stances are simplified and that accusation WAS definitely thrown around quite a bit back in 2015, but when you try to claim it as true when it simply isn't, that's when I take issue with it.

The Nazis had a strong foothold in Austria, long before Hitler himself entered the Country once again and even before that Austria was no stranger to the concepts of Fascism, though it was in a smaller scale and under a different name back then and there are regrettably still traces of those left till this day who now, in this trying times use the turmoil to slowly come into the limelight again

      This is from Wikipedia:
As part of Turkey's migrant crisis, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in 2018 Turkey was hosting 63% of all the refugees in the world, that is over 3.5 million registered refugees from Africa and the Middle East in total. More than a third of the refugees are hosted in Southeastern Turkey, near the Syria-Turkey border.
Turkey allocated 30 billion between 2011-2018 on refugee assistance.
Over 13 million Syrians received aid from the Turkish Aid Agency (AFAD). Turkey has spent more than any other country on Syrian refugee aid, and has also been subject to criticism for opening refugee camps on the Syrian side of the border.
Financial aid from other countries to Syrian Refugees has been limited, though €3,200,000,000 was promised by the EU in November 2015. In March 2016, the EU and Turkey agreed on the EU-Turkey Statement, which involved a number of political concessions as well as 'another €3 billion in aid, if Turkey agreed to a readmission of Syrians arriving in Greece and tighter border controls.'
