U.S. Army Soldiers conducted a buddy team live fire exercise at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Feb. 5, 2020. These drills are used to enhance base defense operations to provide better security for U.S. forces in Iraq.

the M249's ammo feed through the magazine is certainly interesting, but damn unreliable. in a real battle with such delays in firing, the machine gunner would have been killed long ago.
