I’ve have my CDL since 1997 I was bus driver 20 years why I dunno 😂 then I changed 4 Yrs ago to driving semi’s. I stop trying starting commercial cleaning business it failed before even got started. Is a Cummins B6.7, 220HP enough HP for a 26’ box truck. I found it to be lacking power when I drove it UNLOADED. I’ll be working out of California and will be hitting some hills.
All the Knowledge you are giving is appreciated.. The question I have is how big of a box truck can I have without Having to run elogs.
Traveling out of state over 150 air miles round trip will need that mc#, truck size won’t matter you’ll need those elogs or paper logs
Tip 1 is the most important in my opinion and I feel like this is a business opportunity for those who have access now could offer to those wanting to do this market research before getting into the market.
Or how would you go about getting this access without just jumping in fully?

Quick question, I'm planning on getting a Box Truck, and I'm wondering if there is enough money in it to go with a CDL truck instead of non-cdl. Thoughts? I haven't seen many good videos out there on this (I do have my CDL), but if having a CDL truck is enough of an advantage, it might be worth the extra initial money. Again, thank you.
Cdl box truck can definitely carry more weight which can definitely mean more money. Cdl trucks are also less expensive. I’d definitely recommend taking that route. Hazmat endorsement, TWIC certification will also pay far better for moving that type of specialty freight. Hope this helps. ✌🏾

It’s possible with a 16’ box just a little more limited. Amazon actually has 16’ cube box truck loads but if you’re new that’s a six month wait. I still recommend that 26 over them all.

How much is the average gross income for box trucks per month?. The business is not good nowadays, but I just want to compare with semi truck income.
Stay in that company truck for another year! Its not getting better out here anytime soon.

Did you have an inspection from an DOT officer at a weigh station on the interstate or been pulled over by an officer? There is a level 1, level 2, or level 3 inspection that brokers look for on your safer report and without that brokers will not let you run their freight. Some of them. ✌🏾
Do you use a Virtual Address, home address or brick and mortor
I’d stick with home or if you’re in a brick and mortar location use that. Brokers don’t like to see an address that multiple carriers are using.

The broker will send you a tracking app to your phone to track their load on your truck. 👍🏾
