- CREATIVE TEAMS Announced For DC ALL IN!! Does Absolute Universe Get You Excited?
Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder have officially announced DC's new "All-In" initiative, which will launch a brand-new universe as part of the Absolute Universe, but will also tie in with a new Darkseid-centric storyline that will kick off new stories for all of DC's current titles in October, which will start with DC All-In #1 by Williamson, Snyder, and artists Daniel Sampere and Wes Craig.
The new initiative will not be a retcon, but rather, as Snyder noted in the announcement, “All In is about inviting everybody in - the existing creators, some new creators, everything - to tell their best stories, and to begin them all at one point. The idea is to create the greatest jumping-on point for you guys in many, many years.”

I’m actually really looking forward to the Absolute line. I’m cleaning up my pull list and going down to cover a on a couple and dropped a few to make room.
I’m actually most excited for Absolute Flash and GL, but I’m curious as to where Aaron is going to take Supes. Snyder on Bats is always solid, but it’s also boring in that we know what we’ll get. I’m hoping he’s got something very different in mind.

I will definitely be trying all of the Absolute tities. I’m excited about the writer on Absolute Batman, but not the art. I’m not big on big chunky Batman. Superman looks awesome as does Wonder Woman.
As far as main universe, I might just read all of those in the digital app. I do love Dan Mora on the art for Superman.

Really not a fan of Superman's look in Absolute. Batman looks tough (just wondering why he is drawn like the Hulk). Wonder Woman looks different (haven't decided if I like the new look or not yet). My initial thought is I'm really not a fan of the tats. Like the idea of the new JW Superman book with Mora on art in the main universe. That may be good. From the run-down, Supes is the only one I'm interested in at the moment. Thanks, Slayer!
Im optimistically curious about this. It will all depend on what else is coming out for comics, as I dont have much room to add things. I will give Superman a try, tho based on the team. I guess my biggest question is, why do this and do we need it? Im fine with it. If the main books take a break, but if they run alongside each other, i dont think this will work out very well. #staylegendary & much ❤

I am not "All In" but, I am definitely going to check out the Absolute Titles and give at least 1 story arc a try. As far as the regular titles. Definitely checking out Action Comics again and I am sticking with Superman and Green Lantern.
DC comics , you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
I buy almost everything marvel and DC put out so I guess It doesn’t matter as much that I’m excited but it will be interesting to see some new books. Hopefully I get a decent Aquaman run to read

I'll give all the Absolutes a try. This is a chance for a Superman/Clark Kent update. Don't make him a reporter make him more like Bruce Wayne, he has the ability to find lost treasure or even make valuable gems like in Superman 2. He could easily be a billionaire, a reporter is outdated.
I don't like Scott Snyder on Batman, I think he ruined him last time around, made him too much like IronMan. Maybe this is his time to redeem himself but he'll probably have this Batman kill and not blink an eye.
So October will become Rocktober, rock n roll all the way.

As a long time DC buyer and collector I am NOT All In on the Absolute universe - the revamped Superman Batman Wonder Woman all are terrible portrayals
Nope not interested. How many times have they reset, and it is never any good. This sounds like a rip off of Marvel's Ultimate Universe. I can see the DC editors saying, "Hey we should do something like Marvel's Ultimate Universe, maybe that will help us sell some comics." I also do not like the looks of the characters. That's just me, if others like it, that is cool.
I can understand. They did stress though it's not a reset just a jumping on point for readers.

Personally, I'm not excited about a 'new' DC universe. I'm tired of relaunches and resets. Fix the original universe. Hire better talent and we won't need this. Also they just ruined Wonder Woman with a tattoo sleeve. 😂 Just no.

Mark Waid once again ruined my hope that dc will get better. Been off my pull list since Gotham war and will remain off my pull list. Dc is dead.
