That panel of Guts looking like a devil and bringing back Casca’s trauma was a real punch in the gut. One of the strongest emotions I've felt was Law just saying "Damn it!" when he thought he was going to die by Doflamingo.
He fought tooth and nail against Doflamingo, putting everything he had into this battle only for it to end armless, flat on his back, bleeding and in pain with Doflamingo looming over about to crush everything. Everything he ever was, everything he has ever done, everyone that has ever leaned him. There was simply nothing left. The only thing he could do even to hope to express this was "Damn it!". Absolute failure. Everything, reduced to dirt under Doflamingo's feet. Literally and figuratively.

In retrospective, I wonder why the fuck Law didn't use awakenings against him. He basically just used 20 % of his move pool. You can't tell me that Law only awakened his devil fruit AFTER the fight. At this point, we kind of know how devil fruits can get awakened. The op op fruit is especially famous for how well-suited it is for doctors and Law has plenty of medical knowledge. Also: Using the silent room against Doflamingo would've been the ultimate middle finger.

One thing I'd like to mention about the Meruem and Komugi's final Gungi game that makes it probably my favorite scene in anime or manga is the actual game of Gungi itself, Komugi's Kokoriko technique, and the allegory of the actual moves in the final game as it pertains to Komugi's Kokoriko technique. Komugi invents the technique which is normally used to isolate the King (an allegory for Meruem) and as she continues to play vs Meruem, she develops counters for it. As she plays with Meruem, the counters get more advanced and the moves in the final game reflect their whole story replaying itself within Komugi's Kokoriko counters until they pass away with the two king pieces in hand 1-5-1 Black King 9-5-1. Each movie is a step in their story and there are a few good written breakdowns of it you'll come across ever so often. In my opinion, this insane level of detail, much like the Greed Island cards, or the spiraling webs of politics in Succession, is what makes Togashi a special writer and why I'll wait as long as it takes for new HxH chapters.
Also, one thing that really affected me in One Piece was the combination of the Ohara flashback immediately followed by Sogeking shooting down the flag with the Straw Hats on the rooftop. That's something in One Piece's best flashbacks does especially well, the moment after the flashback where we come back to the current events of the manga where the heroes do something that gives you that sense of euphoria or hope after a very depressing or infuriating flashback. Like, stopping Doflamingo's boot, or Kuma's punch, some of my other favorites.

I haven't actually finished the manga yet but one of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen in anime was the end of the movie 'A Silent Voice'.
Seeing Shoya just break down crying at the realisation of how much he's healed will never not get me.

personally, a scene that got me crying was a scene in Justice League unlimited adaptation of for the man who has everything specifically When Clark tells his [fake] son Van that he isn't real and that he has to go especially the way George Newbern delivers it all makes you fucking cry especially when he still tys to comfort Van even after telling him and knowing he is not real he still saw him as his son.

I liked this video. For me, I got weepy when Nami had finally got the money she needed to buy back her village, but Arlong betrayed her. The despair and anger she showed was so vicseral, as she stabbed the tattoo and kept trying to push Luffy away. Then she looked up at Luffy with tears in her eyes and asked for help. I was weepy too. When he put his straw hat on her head and said yes enthusiastically, that was epic.

When I was a kid, Bionicle was my big thing. In 2008 there was a huge plot twist that changed the lore of the entire series and everything I knew about the world I had invested so much in. I was excited to the point I remember reading the books and getting to the end of one to see the twist, and I got chills as well as the feeling like my soul exited my body. Unfortunately the series got canceled 2 years later. Ashvampire has an excellent video summarizing everything.

Sadly, as a survivor of sexual abuse. I regonicze that feeling of seeing yourself as a broken doll very well. It's one of the most subtil and impactfull scens that explains that trauma without writing it on your nose. It was hard to read that scen it was hard to read the scene where she meets Guts again and everything flowed back. It was hard because it was soo accurate to my own experience with this trauma (not that I had the mental break down or that my life was as shitty as cascas where). Healing takes time and all the pieces sometimes is never found of that broken doll.

I am pretty emotional when it comes to fiction, but there are two movies that, no matter how often I see them, they always get me. First is 'Ame &Yuki the wolf children'. Just the entire film. The beginning has some of the saddest scenes I ever experienced and at the end I just cry happy tears. And then there is Disney's Encanto and that final scene where Mirabelle holds the golden doorknob and says 'I see myself, that is me' just hits me everytime (I watched a dub so the words are slightly different from the original).
Anyway that was a super interesting topic and video!

One moment(s) that really got to me is what happened to Euphemia li Britannia in Code Geass. Naturally while I already consider Code Geass to be a magnificent work of art, that particular moment was enough for me to avoid rewatching this masterpiece for +10 years and when I (as an adult this time) finally decided to rewatch it I found myself having to emotionally prepare myself for that scenery despite already knowing what is about to come. It's amazing how fiction is able to ingrain lasting impacts within a consumer.

I forgot the context behind it but that one page in Berserk where Schierke is "flying" with Farnese (or some kind of astral projection) moved me so much. I remember reading the page and just stopped for a while because it was so beautiful. But it wasn't just the art, but the fact that something that beautiful can exist in the terribly dark and cruel world (and reading experience) of Berserk. That's my main takeaway in Berserk, that no matter how hopeless and bad things may be, there is something out there worth living and fighting for.
As for One Piece, the "Happy 10th birthday" chapter made me actually cry for the first time in 15 years of reading the manga.

But specifically, Barry's climax was the first to hit me hard enough for me to tear up. And after that, the ending of Zatch Bell just made be straight up cry. For me Zatch Bell is just perfect and I highly recommend it, especially since there's a sequel ongoing.

Robins "I want to live" speech took my heart and soul and destroyed it and revived it. I needed to hear those words cause i was at one of the darkest points in my life and i wanted to scream out those words, i wanted to be free, i wanted to be happy, i wanted to live but life was so hard at the time and things felt so damn bleak all the time. Watching that scene made me disgustingly ugly cry for hours. Then the merry scene hit months later (i was watching weekly back then) and man i just lost my shit, had recently lost my dog and luffys speech about how he should have treated the merry better and whatnot really hurt cause i knew i could have also done more for my dog back then, but i was young and had no money and family problems. I can never watch Enies Lobby arc without mentally preparing for those scenes. Everything involving Jiraiyas death in Naruto Shippuuden really freaking hurt, that was excellently done and executed perfectly, the music, the vibes, the mellow color, then iruka coming by and offering to split his popsicle just like jiraiya did, man that was brutal.

A relaxant moment I can think of actual broyght me to watching your Bleach reviews. At the time the Fullbringer arc was airing I didnt really watch Bleach anymore and focus more on other random anime choices but I eventually did start watching the eps for it all be ot out of context so when all that stuff with memory shenanigans was happening I legit invested im the idea that Chad and Inoue were against Ichigo etc (Dude even got to YUzu and Karin too which hurt me almost as much as it did Ichigo mentally). So when the reveal of Ginjo being evil hit and that scene in the rain came around I was genuinely devastated.

Apart from that there's a lot of things that made me emotional as well when it comes to different kinds of medias but one that stood out for me the most is Reigen's birthday in Mob Psycho. It's pretty much a tear jerker for anyone who once felt alone in their life and at the time it just hit way too close to home.
