Imagine this: if you have skull invitation in play and flipping a nimble momonga (with another 2 still in your deck). Also a gravekeeper's servant in play.
A morphing jar flip can hurt your opponent up to 1800. And you'll regain lp ín no time. Then another 300 damage per attack done by your opponent.
I won a lot of games that way back in the day :)

We kinda have that, is when a card gets banished face down. It can still be shuffled back in the deck by cards like Necroface but hey, close enough.
The jar cards are my absolute favorites. I used to run the 'Empty Jar' mill deck.

18:50 Facedown banished cards are basically the "super dimension" you are asking for Tekken, which is already in game. Very few cards can interact with them as it stands for now at least.
You forgot about aroma jar Mat, also you can use cards like a feather of the phoenix, armed changer & soul reversal to get back flip effect cards & spam them over & over again. Pot of the forbidden is a lv9 monster so it requires THREE tributes not two & Joey used fiber jar in the waking the dragons arc when he first dueled Mai & she negated the card with a trap.
"Face-Down Banishment" is basically the "super banishment" from my understanding... There are some ways, like I think 3 or something off the top of my head but those are super ultra rare & hard to use most of the time.

Pot of the Forbidden is actually 4 banned cards put into one; also it has a hard once per turn.
Raigeki, Pot of Greed, Giant Trunade, and The Forceful Sentry. Hence it’s name, pot of the forbidden

Geez than I guess that episode where Yugi who beat that mime, who was being forced to duel by a man with a questionably shaped eyeball rod, using a Egyptian god which is a red serpentine two mouthed dragon, named after an executive producer, who had the ability to reduce monster attack points by 2000 when summoned to Yugi's field because any with less than 2000 is instantly destroyed, that grows in power for every card the mime holds, attacks a questionably colored "jam" which Yugi has brain controlled, that self revives in an endless cycle of reviving and being blown to bits like demented looking blue Majin Buu by a god, whilst a spell is active in a background that allows the mime to 3 draw cards every time the Majin Jam revives, causing the executive dragon to grow pointlessly stronger, in a loop that continues on until Mr. Mime decks out, causing the mime to lose and become a discarded husk, whilst Yugi claims the power of a god.
Yeah decking your opponent out can NEVER be theatrical.
Mr. Thou the anime tends to make everything dramatic probably because watching a high school student play a table top card game with a creepy mime wouldn't be much fun to watch but that's why they have crazy shadow magic and holograms

Joey and Odion actuallly had a game in the Battle City Tournament with the turn passing thing happening and it was hilarious XD Kaiba literally made them play card on a turn because he was tired of them passing turns.
Morphing Jar #2 was actually a very meta-relevent card. It was one of the easiest way to get rid of early Synchro and XYZ monsters, since they all go back to the extra deck and the owner doesn't get to summon anything because no monsters went to their deck. It was limited to 1 for a long time too (haven't checked the current status), but it was a popular side deck card.
Back in the day I had the Jar/Special Summon graveyard filler decks for my chaos necromancers to swoop in and pretty much one shot people. Ahh good times.

I like to think Hiromu Arikawa (the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist) was a Yu-Gi-Oh fan and with how annoying Morphing Jar was: decided to model the main villain of the series after this thing.
I think the eyeball thing in the morphing jar is Suezo from monster rancher... If you remember that.
I used Pot of the Forbidden in Shaddolls. In that deck its basically an Auto-win. But that was also 2 years ago
Aye Tekking, just so you know if you wanna permanently banish your opponents cards, use a card that can banish them face down. That way it won’t come back. Cards like “Evenly Matched” works perfectly
18:51 the game kind of has that in the form of being banished face down. I don't play the game anymore but I believe it's very hard to bring cards back if they're banished face down.
14:09: A don't forget the face-up Pendulum Monsters in your Extra Deck. They don't get shuffled back into the deck.
19:51 I mean the retirements you need to fulfill to get it face down, you'd need tow tributes and then use a card to flip it face down.

Im pretty sure if you have a card that banishes cards face down, there is no way to get those cards back, even with cards that specifically tell you to return banished cards. So, if im not mistaken... Banished Face Down is truly the one state of card that can never come back or be used again

And when you do the "pot" episode please go into extreme detail on how Pot of Greed works. I mean if you can, I hear it's a very mysterious and confusing card.

If a card gets banished face down then it's basically gone for good. Pretty much every card that summons or revives from banishef need to target a specific kind of card and while it's face down you don't know what it is

Hey Tekking, Seven and Eight star monsters require two sacrifices. that sucker is a ten star and they need 3.
Also- you're probably right, however from the wording on the text on the pot of forbidden card it seems more likely that you can choose between any of those options when you flip the card, and you are able to continuously use the last effect once per turn. "this" effect. But idk, ive been wrong before.
the card game is starting to sound more and more like a comic book series. also man I did not know there were that many jar cards in the game especially if you use different dimension jar and fiber jar in your deck over and over again you can destroy their deck while refreshing your own.
There's a hand destruction and a card destruction. Card destruction destroys the entire hand and each player draws the # of cards discarded (banned), and hand destruction does the same effect but only to 2 hands (Not banned)

18:54 Currently the best you have is a small number of cards which banish face down, making them unable to be used for the rest of the duel

To be fair if Card of Sanctity did have its anime effect it would be a huge double edged sword. I mean sure you get a possible +5 but so does your opponent.
Morphing Jar #2 and Cyber jar were my favorites... cyber jar especially because it could special summon face down stuff.
The real jerk move I could only pull off rarely was "Special attack orders+MJ#2+MJ+Dice Jar... so when flipped properly dam is done/hands reset/3 mons returned to deck on my side... well the thing is MJ#2 special summoned CJ+MJ#2+MJ. all special summoned by same effect so all hit field and are fliped by Special attack orders... all being active at once means I choose order of effects. reset hand/blow field and reset/return mons if any to deck to summon more... after 2 or 3 more CJ occurrances thanks to Spear Cretins flip effect happening when I also fliped something that could destroy it meant that the final death spiral consisted of 2 MJ#2's and a penguin soldier (plus one other flip monster left in my deck andmy opponent had no cards left so finally I was not givin MJ#2 and with that ended my turn to force the opponent to deck out.

My favorite Jar is morphing jar, use it for the draw power in my Evil Hero Deck . And I hate #2 it screwd me over all the time in tag team gx psp games.
Those shadow creatures in the jars remind me of the dwarf in the jar from FMA brotherhood
The jars seem more like Mimics commonly found in the Fantasy Genre

Not only that, it's a really powerful card. If you managed to put your hand on the field and then flip it you can draw 5 more cards basically for free while your opponent only draws like 1 or 2. Having that kind of card advantage can be absolutely devastating.
That text isn ot how you use Morphin jar. How you use it is if you have almost no cards you can use it to make a comeback. Or if you have mostly spell/trap cards you can set them and flip it over to gain a lot of advantage.
It's too slow for modern play though back when the game was slower, yes it was absurdly powerful but it should be safe for it to come back to 3.
Actually, Pot of the Forbidden requires 3 tributes, since it's a 9-star monster.

So guess Tekking would like the Arcana Force deck i used to run, i had my fun because it relied on coin flips and rng.
The GY is the second hand, banished face up is like the graveyard in the right deck, banished face down is pretty much perma banished.
Man, I watched these episodes in Japanese a earlier this year for the first time, and I love this duel. It almost a perfect story (*glares at Just Deserts*).
Mill is my favorite. I run it in magic the gathering, and it pisses off my friends despite the fact I keep telling the its random and has an equal chance of hitting their better cards as their worse cards.

He probably could but he wouldn't understand why some of the cards are banned without research like Dragon Rulers, The Tyrant Neptune, Firewall Dragon, El Shaddoll Construct, SAMSARA LOTUS, etc. Or if he does take a guess it might be wrong and he'll get comments like "Construct wasn't banned because of the deathtouch. It was banned because of the Fusion Spell and LIGHT monsters being very versatile in the GY". Note: I am assuming Tekking would claim El Shaddoll Construct is banned because of the effect to destroy Special Summoned monsters before it battles if he didn't do research of anything relating to the card prior (because out of context, it is probably the strongest thing about it).
"Muka Muka" and "enraged Muka Muka" are my favorites.
Oh and KC grand prix arc wasnt bad..sigfried had an op deck but it was entertaining
