Clio's are amazing value for money. I got myself 2010 Clio with 1.5 dci engine with 90k miles for 2000 euros. My only complaint is that maintenance isn't made that easy.
A lot of relatable stuff in this vid man. I've got a 2007 1.2 petrol Rip Curl edition, and can say it's so damn fun to drive. Puts a smile on my face every time I make a journey 😁
I'm considering getting one of these or a 1.25/1.4 Mk6 Ford fiesta 2008. Still not sure which one to go for because I live in Brighton which has a lot of hills so idk how much power I'd need. But fuel efficiency, reliability and something that's fun to drive is my priority aswell as a decent amount of space.
I brought the 2007 1.4l Renault Clio dynamique s in September for £900 had to get a new clutch and other bits for £450 so I'm in the car for £1350, and now the cheapest one on the market for the same states is £1695, so I'm fairly happy with it
These are a hoot to drive, I was given a kangoo van and even that was fun too drive lol. One thing that scares me (even thou I am a BMW man) is the price of some of the parts. Cool car thou man. Good content, I need to think of new video ideas
@@Mr330d lol you following me around RUclips I did have a Clio it was a year ago that comment I part exchanged it for a Mini Countryman in Jan last year but that went back on rejection In The February as it had to many faults then I got Peugeot 207 late February 2020
Do you still have this car ? just wondering that’s all since it’s 8 years later now , i had my clio from 2017 until 2020 I swapped my Clio for a Peugeot 207 sports automatic in February 2020 and then this year I’ve now swapped again and now I’ve got a mini hatch cooper D 5 door 2016 automatic white silver
This is a good video. I've got a 2010 VW Polo 1.4 and I love driving on back roads and through random towns! Not a huge fan of motorway driving as it doesn't have a lot of power or stability at high speeds
A very nice first car indeed..! Still have it? Platine Silver... Nice color!! I've got also a MK3 (1.2TCe 100bhp), Platine Silver ofcourse... :-) but without that awsome sunroof of your car...and it's not my first car at all... I wish it was... than I didn't need to drive that horrible Opel(Vauxall)Corsa instead... If it did drive at all... :D You're next stop the ClioRS... Megane RS...
That's damn quick for a 86BHP Considering getting one in a wee while when the girlfriend's had her licence for longer Being a new driver i had to downgrade to a 1.2 Clio witb 75 mighty Ponies Definitely considering an 86bhp clio in black 5 door though 👌 Also can you upload that 40-70MPH video haha Subscribing 👌
Good review, i own an extreme spec 1.2 non turbo petrol which is slower and doesnt have as much tech as yours but it has served me very well as my first car, i bought it when i was 19 and i still own it 3 years later, ive made 2 videos about it on my channel feel free to check them out, thanks!
Had my 2006 1.4 petrol for like 3 months now and honestly so much fun to drive, can chuck it at anything and puts a massive smile on your face ahaha

Ashley Stanford Nice :)
haha i’ve got one of them, not the fastest thing nor my choice for motorway driving but lovely car nonetheless.

mattsbeamer car parts are always a killer cost 🙄 I tend to DIY from part yards if need be! Just fixed up a whole truck doing so
I absolutely love my 1.6 58 plate mk3 Clio automatic pearl black its awesome to drive
I thought you had a Peugeot 207 sports automatic? 🤔

Ahh man neither! But country roads...that's where it's at!
The polo for me is the best tiny car, I love German cars.
mattsbeamer POLO is also a solid little car !
Clio has more stability
it looks great! very nice car :D

good stuff man.
Where do you live? look like you should be driving a g wagon rather than a clio
Ive had my Micra 17 years and it only ever had one fault. Is the Clio reliable? Drive carefully.
No issues so far :)
my first car was a clio a year later when my insurance went down i bought an nissan r32 skyline :)

what is the normal temperature? does it overheat?
Standard temp is half way through the gage. Never over heats. Never had any issues :)
I owned an 07 1.4 16v Dynamique S briefly, it was awful to drive. It didn’t handle nicely, the steering was numb and it was so slow.
Lad its a small diesel car its not a track day, please calm down and stop driving so dangerously
hahaha good one
Dreaming In Cars I'm not joking kid you're not ken block remember it's not only your life you risk
Man said 60 mpg wtf that so much
Isn’t the 1.2 tce better
Its a good car for eny time nor just first car. Like wtf...and buy the petrol engine not diesel.
torque from the diesel is a fantastic feel. i rate it.
How much was ur insurance on this when u were 17?
£600 as a second driver initially :)
+Dreaming In Cars oh sweet, really considering this for my first car. I'm turning 17 later this year
+Daniel Hammett get the 1.5 diesel. great mpg and it's super nippy!
I have a 56 plate 1.4 petrol My first car and its got 98hp so im not complaining!. great little car to drive, cheap to insure and looks decent too!
ik had graag over de auto en niet on jourself
