Fred Bear was one of my inspirations growing up and I went on to take 38-40 whitetails with his bows and razorheads. Effective hunting tools from Grayling, Michigan. Thank you for your tribute.

I'm an ole musician & a career military patriot, I am soo proud of Mr. Nugent, and just Love this Awesome Creation of Music...Ted Nugent for President, great follow up to Pres. Trump. U.S. Marine & Native American
When I watched him live at Soaring Eagle, he faked like he was going to leave without playing Fred Bear. The whole audience, me included, starting chanting "Fred Bear". The lights came back on and there he was, on stage, draped in the American flag. He said something like, "I hear you guys wanna hear Fred Bear." It was amazing! I wish it was on video somewhere.
Thank you Ted for living the life of Fred and your self.... Your are a rock and rock god... Looks like Mr St Holmes and Mick with you. What a perfect combination.
Ted Nugent was my first concert ever, back in '76 in Freedom Hall in Louisville. I was 16. I still have my ticket stub. I paid $10. I bought a Cat Scratch Fever t-shirt, but I don't know what happened to it. I sort have steered away from popular rock bands and strictly got into punk and hardcore.. Anyway, after watching this video, I must say, this song is so right on so many levels, the guitar harmony among Ted and the rhythm guy at the right moments, Ted's amazing voice (I forgot that he has a great rock voice) and his amazingly flawless guitar playing of a really cool song......WOW!!
Ted went from filling stadiums to barely filling concert halls of less than a thousand. But I still remember the good old days. Politics aside, you surely deserve to be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. You are a bsdass guitar player
The Great Greg Smith, The Legendary Derek St. Holmes , The Motor City Mad Man himself Uncle Ted Nugent, and Wild Mick Brown, as Ted would say himself Are you Kidding me! How has that stage not burst into flames from all that awesomeness! An Amazing, beautiful, and inspirational song, I knew it was something special when I first heard it on The Boneyard while I was in VA, though I'm from The Keystone State itself PA!
This song gives our old bodies, wife & me, the energy to keep on pushing & enjoying our hikes into Mother Nature here in Co. Many souls join us each time......and of course the spirits of our four legged hiking buddies are leading us to the next fork. Great song! Goose bumps & more

I always take a few seconds to recognize Derek with out that hair he had in 70s. I was front of stage in 1977 when they recorded for Double Live Gonzo at Municipal Auditorium Nashville Tennessee. They used Just What the Doctor Ordered, Wang Dang Sweet Poontang and Cat Scratch Fever. I've seen him in concert with Amboy Dukes, then as Ted Nugent 9 times. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of my mom. Sadly, she passed away in 2013. She taught me and my brothers how to cook. She taught us how to build a bow, string it, build the arrows and shoot them accurately. I have my mom's favorite Teddy Bear. Do you know what his name is? FRED

I've always loved Ted. He's one of my guitar heroes. I don't agree with him 100% politically (I'm a Progressive Democrat. Oh, and I also own guns), but that doesn't take away my enjoyment of his music or his talent. He's that uncle you don't see eye to eye with all the time, but you still love him. I took up archery (partly because of Ted). I'm not a hunter. I don't have anything against hunting, it's just not for me. But I agree with Ted and his views on hunting. He's a true hunter, it's his way of life and I respect him for that.
Congratulations on being able to separate his politics from his music. Many, actually almost none, seem to be able to do that. This Ted loving Conservative Republican would be proud to drink a beer with you.

And I'll join you in the big hunt before too long

Because of Fred Bear
