@@sendysent the 600 class is definitely entertaining. The power is up top and I don’t have to be as careful with the throttle but I’ve rode 1000s too. I like them but i enjoy a 600 in city streets better and they have ample power for the highway
I'd get out of rain mode right out the gate. Even if its your first liter bike. Just repsect it and dont do any big or fast twist of the throttle and your good. Keep that rubber down. How you liking it?

I have that same exact ZX10R. Got it year ago after trading in my first bike, a cbr500r. You’ll be good just take your time. Doing track days helped me get comfortable riding it fast
I never understood this I been riding now 15 years all I have bought is 600cc I still have my gsxr 2008 k8 600 new since 2008 granted i have always had multiple bikes at once but never a 1000cc because I still can’t max out a 600 on the street even when I ride with 1k bikes they can’t keep up with me in the twistee. But I am going to be buying 2 1000cc bikes just to change it up and still keep my 600 I’ll always love my 600 over anything. But nice bike brotha.

Have a zh2 and a 500 exc-f. Had 4 other bikes before those. I highly recommend stepping it up slowly. People that make that kinda jump rarely are able to use a 1000cc like they should be even after a few years.
Both great options, the deciding factor for me was knowing how nerfed the ZX10R is in rain mode. Figured it would allow me to have basically a 600 to transition into and unlock to be a 1000 without having to buy two bikes. Hope my future content can help.

We all started one 1ks. You'll be good. The 400 kills you the same way a 600 or 1000 does. The only difference is what gear you were in at that speed. It all happens the same way. You know how to ride its just faster don't think about it too hard.

TST made it easy, they're just plug and play. Using the same wiring harness front oem signals.
