I just received my cover, in black suede and it looks very good, especially for the price!
Mine was very difficult to fit and get the final corner on evenly, but it did go on after a bit of pulling for an hour, probably stretching the material a bit. It’s on now and looks good, now will need to go for a ride and see any further benefits!
My stock seat is not comfortable, but also not the brick a lot of people think it is and has improved the more it’s used, either that or my arse has improved!😂

Trip Machine Suede seat is way more comfortable than stock, light & day & the grip is exceptional.I bought my Trip Machine Suede seat over a year ago & noticed since Stu Fillingham video the price increased 40%.I glad I got mine when I did.
I have considered getting the Raw & Rugged seat cover to use for touring or it looks like rain that way remove stuff inside jacket or bag, pannier.
I never use a hose on my bike & wash by hand with bucket & no wax cleaner & use a blow drier & then use caranuba polish & waterless spray wash between.Metal polish on engine casings.

Thanks Tony! I think so too. Really happy with the colour. A few issues with the finish but they are going to fix that for me. Will talk about that in my next Vlog video and do some close ups!

    Looks great another great video.
this totally a different subject I had my interceptor second service yesterday which is 2020 model they replaced my brake callipers as they were recalled over the quality of the finish because my bike was second hand I hadn’t received any communication from Royal Enfield so I wondered if you would mention it in one of your videos keep them going .
    Ray.

It's a great cover ! Bought one for the GT touring seat on my Interceptor, adds a little comfort imho but looks really good ! Unfortunately I only use it when taking a pillion as most of the time I use the seat cowl .

No use if it rains. I think the touring series 2 seat is good looking and comfy

You can protect suede for very little money with very little effort. Spray with some nikwax or similar. If I intended to use the bike in wet, I'd just do that. Good thing is its removable of course, so I can always take it off to ride in rain and put it back on.
The touring seat looks good. Not sat on one before, but it's also 3X the price of this cover. This is a good affordable option for those (as I said in the video) just want to improve the looks, but don't need it to be drastically more comfortable.

Nice vid. Quick question, why do you press the indicator button every time you use the clutch?

😂😂😂 Was only a matter of time before somebody picked up on that! Basically a bad habit that I have formed from the first ever CBT I was on where I kept forgetting to cancel my signal! Lol. What started as a great way to remember to do it, has turned into some sort of OCD behaviour that I cannot control!

I fear suede will show wear in a couple of years and suede will absorb water . I would prefer a black ordinary leather one but so it's not available - yet.

The suede wear isn't concerning to me. I'll take care of it by brushing etc and enjoy the worn look. If it ever begins to look too worn, it was ridicously affordable and can be replaced.
It won't be getting wet, apart from getting caught in the odd shower while out riding. I'll probably spray it with some nikwax or similar just incase.
