Thanks for the support Opal...appreciate it. Oh the possibilities are endless. My other thought is if we used less water then could we make heavy cream. An experiment for another day. I hope you enjoy it ❤️❤️❤️
I compared the nutrition facts, and the cream cheese wins, hands down. One cup (249 grams) of whole milk with 3.25% fat contains 88% water, 8.14 grams of protein, 12 grams of carbohydrates, 12 grams of sugar, and 8 grams of fat. 8 0z (1 block or 224g) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese contains 16g of protein, 8g carbohydrates, 0g added sugar, and 80g fat.
Oh wow...now that is interesting! I wonder how come mine says less than 1g carb per 100g. With the dilution factored in...that's how I get to zero carbs up to one cup. I'm a little disappointed Philly cream cheese macros are so different from country to country though. You did an awesome experiment though...thank you for sharing.
Okay BUT I bet you could make the most delicious chocolate milk and HOT CHOCOLATE!!! 🤤 Edit: I just finished watching the video and you were way ahead of me. 🤦🏼♀️😂

Blessings..🙏
Thanks Laura...same to you ❤️❤️❤️
Lol, I don’t know what it is about you, but I just love your laugh and bubbly personality.
I usually am annoyed by bubbly people, so when my partner and I were watching your video and we heard your laugh, he said "ok, I'll change the video" but I told him, "No, leave it, I like it".
He looked at me kind of strangely lol.
Anyways, you now have 2 new subscribers, even if I don't try anything you make, I'm here for your laugh and bubbliness.
Oh wow...what fabulous compliments. Lolol I'm sure alot of people find my quirky annoying haha. I see my Chewbacca laugh reared it's ugly head in the live show today...glad it doesn't make an appearance in the regular videos. Thank you...you made my day ❤️
@@CookwithMel1I'm glad I made your day. 😊
I wonder if you can you melt the cream cheese to help mix it? My blender is not great and I don't want to drink lumpy milk. 😂
Hey Charlotte 👋
Oh yes you can use your stove top....as it heats whisk it to get it smooth 😉
@@CookwithMel1 thanks I'll try that!
The milk tastes great. It doesn’t last long with me for I like Philadelphia cream cheese very much. I’m not able to attend the live tomorrow. I’ll watch the replay. I’ll miss you❤ very funny video Chris! ❤
We will miss you too Beckie...thanks for letting us know. I'm so happy you like the milk too...yay ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
This is SUCH A WONDERFULLL & thoughtful recipe Thank you so much
The same milk could be used to make a tomato base soup creamy
To make cauliflower mashed potatoes this is just a yummy recipe that can be used so many many ways thank you thank you I personally will use it a lot
I have just subscribed to your channel. Have a beautiful day. Dear lady 🥰🥰🩷😊🌸💕
Here in Ireland 224g of Original Philadelphia has 12.1g Protein, 9.6g Carbohydrate, and 47g Fat!
Why so many carbs there 😫
@@CookwithMel1 I looked at the USDA Food Database. Carbohydrate, by difference 0.992 g
This is why they can claim
It's still low for me because I can easily fit that into my day 😊
Okay BUT I bet you could make the most delicious chocolate milk and HOT CHOCOLATE!!! 🤤
Edit: I just finished watching the video and you were way ahead of me. 🤦🏼♀️😂
Lolol yes great minds I say 😂😂😂
This looks so good. I’m so sad I can’t tolerate dairy 😭
Thank you so much. I believe you can get lactose free cream cheese
@@CookwithMel1 wow really? I’ve never seen that in my country. I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you!
I have a feeling I’ll have a reaction to it anyway though because cream cheese has so many ingredients. I can’t seem to tolerate anything that has multiple ingredients especially if it came from a factory.
Oh sorry about that...I also know you can make your own. Please check out this website he has quite a few lactose free recipes even sour cream: georgeats.com/recipes/lactose-free-cream-cheese-recipe/
@@CookwithMel1 oh my goodness, you are so kind. Thank you so much. I didn’t know you could make lactose free cheese at home. This is definitely something I would like to try. Thank you!
You're so welcome Mona. Oh for the little things to make life easier 😊
It's a pleasure!
Were you originally from South Africa. Your accent sounds so familiar. But live from RSA anyway to you 😊
Hoe gaan dit Marie? 😊
Yes from Durban but emigrated in 2002. Unfortunately my accent is messed up these days. I did good for so many years 😊
When I go back home it returns instantly though.
@@CookwithMel1 Lekker, man , lekker!😘
this is so weird........ no ingredients ,,, wow i wanna try this,
Lmao I know right 🤣
I would love to know what you think of it once you've tasted it 😊
I still would prefer heavy cream cuz I don't drink milk I think it's nasty but I prefer heavy cream if I do use anything not to drink put in recipes
Thanks quite alright Cheryl. It's great to explore alternatives for everyone though.
You can just use it as a replacement for heavy cream, you don't have to drink it
Why doesn't it go bad? When I leave cream cheese in the fridge too long it gets moldy. Does the water prevent that somehow?
I believe so...Imagine how nervous I was to drink it at first and then the surprise 😊😊😊
I'll keep buying cans of Evaporated Milk and add filtered water..😂
Nice Paul ❤️
Mulk. 😊
Lmao...oh man I forgot to say meelk 🤣🤣🤣
This is actually 2 ingredients, but we'll let it slide this time 😜
Haha Joey....nope water has never been counted as an ingredient though...what are these new rules I haven't heard about 😅😅😅
@@CookwithMel1, I was just messing with you 😘... But technically, unless you're using it as a cooking medium, it's an ingredient
I loved your comment. But most cooks don't count water as an ingredient because we don't have to buy it. I'm happy either way ☺️
Супер👍👍👍💖💖💖
Thanks so much ❤️
Cream cheese has a low level of calcium, I think.😢
Why don't you blend a calcium supplement with it?
😊🥛🤗
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cheese drink 😄
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You said it first haha
@@CookwithMel1 It definitely is worth trying because cream cheese is delicious what's not to love!
That's what I thought too...thanks 😊😊😊
Unfortunate you feel people who are concerned about your health are a peanut gallery.
Not at all...just sharing an idea. If you're being nasty to a stranger who is sharing their knowledge with you for nothing in return do you think maybe it's time for therapy?
