1. Architect 6.5 3V 2. Cold Steel American Lawman 3. Swiss Army Knife. The Architect can do all fixed blade tasks, the Lawman can do all smaller tasks and is tough as nails, and the Victorinox is just an essential multitool and/or backup knife. As for a weapon, I'm relying on guns or I guess the Lawman or Architect if all else failed.
I’ve been requesting that the DBK guys review the Tops Architect Field Buddy 5.5 in 3V forever! That’s my all time do-all apocalypse knife. I’d probably also need to have my Leatherman Wave+ and my Spyderco Native 5.
Well, looks like I never got this video in my feed. 😠 Since I answered this question on your most recent video, I’ll just make this comment: I like to pair knives together, sometimes three. My kits also include a folding saw, and most times, a hatchet or tomahawk. We’ll just keep with the knives for now. These are some of my groupings… * TOPS Armageddon * TOPS Lite Trekker * TOPS Hoffman Harpoon XL * TOPS Tahoma Field Knife * TOPS Kodiak Jac II * Cold Steel Busman * Bark River JBA Prototype * Condor Terrasaur * TOPS High Desert Harpoon * TOPS Outpost Command * KaBar BK-11 * Condor Mini Matagi You may see a trend in these groupings. I like a big knife, a medium size knife, and a harpoon or spear knife. My pack always has the Condor Matagi no matter which other knives I’m carrying. The Mini Matagi makes an outstanding bushcraft knife. I wish I had bought one for each of my kits before it was discontinued. And the Wild Pig Hunter is another one that goes everywhere with me.
My three are . . . Survival - SCHF9 with the recurve blade. Foldable - not particular there but I like (as with all knives) a drop point automatic in something beefy. Tactical - the Gerber Mark II in stainless. With the exception of the folder (I carry a cheap dagger auto EDC) I currently own the above.

Manic 2 with s30v and g10, Bradford guardian 3.5, and an old knife hatchet combo that was my dads before he passed years ago. I’m good with that load out.
Three is such a confined number. If I had to decide now I would pick LT Wright Gen 3 in O1 for a large knife, Dan Koster Bushmaster in CPM 3V for medium knife and Bark River Santos in A2 for large EDC. (trying not to think about other favourites now)
Mine would have to be the esee izula 2, spyderco pm2, and probably the spyderco shaman. If I had a field buddy 5.5 it would be that instead of the shaman, but I haven't picked one up yet
Hmmm I’d have to go with Cold steel AD-10, Ontario Rat7 , and and my BK9. Until I get my hands on a junglas but definitely like that architect you got there !
Nice picks! I added a choil to my bk9 with a dremel tool, took off the finish, replaced the scales with the fancy ones from tkc and made a good dangler sheath for it.... then in the beginning of the pandemic, sold it. :( I think I'm gonna buy it again though soon. I really miss that knife. Appreciate you tuning in man!

That's a fine lineup. And I'm with you. I mainly am just a user these days but I do have the odd knife kicking around (just because of the channel). I considered stripping the finish off my Esee and doing a patina (worked great on my bk9) but it's the tan, so I'm keeping it for now. Appreciate you tuning in and Happy New Year!
