    Hi Topaz, I was able to sell the large bags for $25 and my cost to make them was less than $5. On some, i also wrapped them in cellophane like you would do to a gift basket and then added a large bow. It added value and I was able to sell it for 35. It all depends in what you put in it and how your stuffed animal looks. If you find a nice one for cheap, you can add to the sale price.

    T Ramos, It really depends on the cost of your materials and the time it takes. I was able to sell them on FB,& CL for ,,20-25. You can also wrap them in cello like you would a basket, and add a bow I was able to get more because they looked bigger and had more height. I also make candy bouquets and know those can get time consuming depending on the size. Not sure yet, but I may consider making a basic bouquet video.

    @1458carla I've never tried shipping them. I don't know if it would be possible without damage but if I were to try, I'd pack it laying down as snug as possible. Maybe even adding a box support inside the bag as well.

  • @EmGutzy
    @EmGutzy  11 лет назад

    Topaz...i just wanted to add that my prices are not boutique prices which could likely be more. I do not own a shop so these are what i call my "street prices" for sales i do on facebook or craigslist.

    Hi I am thinking of making some of these for Christmas so the question that I have is do the gift go at the bottom of the bag and then you cover the gift with paper and shred?

    • @EmGutzy
      @EmGutzy  9 лет назад

      There are a few things you can do differently from the video. If you want your gift to sit inside the bag (rather than above like in the video) you can add whatever you'd like to the bottom (shred & paper) if needed for a little lift. You can then lay out a couple of sheets of tissue on a flat surface and set your gift in the middle. Bring up the tissue around the gift then insert it into the bag. Then you can add tissue at the top of the bag for flare. I have another video called How to Put Tissue in a Gift Bag. You can check that out to help you with the tissue on top. In that video, i just put the gift directly into the bag for the showing how to do the tissue.

    How did you attach the wire to the stuffed animal? I've often been puzzled how to keep the push animal in place when doing my own gift packages. Thank you

    • @EmGutzy
      @EmGutzy  6 лет назад

      Sorry, this is a very very lat response. I wasn't getting notifications. Anyhow, I just used a clear packing tape but I have seen people glue the wire or even poke it into the stuffed animal or even sew it. I prefer not to glue or poke or sew so I just use a strong enough packing tape and hold it while I guide it in place to secure it in the gift.
