Im starting my third year on nursing school in a month and so far it has been an amazing journey. I wish all the future nurses best of luck on all your studies and don't worry the work is hard but the reward it worth it
Cierra, you better come all the way through with the deets! I love your videos and I’m so happy to share my great news with you. I got accepted into nursing school!! Yayyyy! I will begin on August 16th. I will be binging on all of your videos. 💕
I loved this video! I start nursing school in the fall so im looking for allll the tips! in highschool I took a nursing course all 4 years which really helped me as a cna! and even as a cna I love when the nurses show me stuff that i haven’t even learned in school yet!
I start my pre nursing classes and tried to make a good schedule for classes I have my classes Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Made sure to have days off in between for either school work or studying. And making sure to take sundays off for Kenya break because I chose to take AP this first semester. I also decided to take an algebra course this summer because in the fall I take algebra 118 that’s required for nursing and ya girl don’t know math for nothing. So I’m really trying to prepare myself. 😭
Love the content, keep it going! Guiding people into the career. Nursing is a rewarding career. We each have 5 years under our belts and haven't looked back!
Thank you for this. I start nursing school August 9th. Just got my uniform yesterday & just got very nervous so I’m just watching videos but I love ur personality and vibe, I’m glad I came across ur channel
@@officially_AK I graduate in may 2023 lol. And been a nurse for a month now. And so far so good. I work on a med surg floor. Although it has its cons, it’s still not as bad as people say
Thank you for this video. This pandemic took a dive into my studying habits. I start nursing school in September and I am excited and nervous at the same time. ✨🌟😎
You’re so pretty and I have an aunt you look just like. I’m also starting nursing school this winter and plan on continuing on for my bsn degree. Your channel is helping me prepare sooooo much. I’m so excited to start and thank you so much for these videos. God bless you! 💕
I'm currently surfing the internet and RUclips on how to prepare my self before my classes start, subscribing for to good RUclipsrs out there😂😂 . I'm definitely nervous about it but also excited. My question is "How did you learn to manage your time between work, family , friends and school?" Time management is something that I suck at and I would really love some advice. :)
I’m currently a dental assistant but it’s not really exciting to me anymore . I’ve always wanted to become a mother baby nurse working in NICU also assisting the moms ! I’ve been trying do as much research possible on TWU . Also other things that you have to do be the best lol my question is did you have to go into nurse residency program? Or is that part of the nursing program ? Also great video love how everything was straight forward also do you have to take an exam just to be accept in twu or any other programs
Hey! I just came across your channel & Your voice and the way you articulate is extremely soothing! I absolutely love your energy! Thanks for the tips sis & I will be using this moving forward 😘 Good luck on your journey!

Hey, I just wanted to know if I get into nursing school without prerequisites? I didn't know I was interested in going to nursing school until a few months ago I didn't take maths, bio, physics or chemistry, is there any other way to complete the prerequisites needed for nursing school?? Welp lmao
Do you think I’ll be able to become a nurse I just keep thinking since I have short term n IEP I can’t becoming a nurse I wanna go to nursing school but idk if it’ll be hard for somebody like me??
I’m a high school student and I got into 3 direct entry programs one of them is 10 minutes from me. But the one that is close to me is a private school with all the financial aid and scholarships it came down to about $9,460 but there were some things that were included that I shouldn’t be paying for like food and housing bc I’m living at home. So I gotta call financial aid. Community college is cheaper but you have to grind, get good grades in pre-reqs, have a high gpa and take the TEA’s exam and score well on that. There’s no guarantee that I will get into the nursing program. I’m afraid if I don’t get in I will be wasting time and money. Any advice?!
go with direct entry! applying to schools can be so stressful so if you already have an “in” take advantage! since you’re still in HS, apply to scholarships and grants to cover that extra expense! also, try to work over the summer! saving up is going to save ur butt in the long run.
@@naomifaye4976 I called up financial aid with scholarships from the school, aid, pell grants it covered for the all school year! All I’m paying for is books but I could probably just buy some used on Amazon or use a pdf version.
Omg i am on a similar boat rn as u. I am planning on taking running start junior year and debating if I should do pre nursing associates bUt idk how im gonna hang on and second option was just get the other associates and go to 2 more years of college and than nursing school?? My nursing program does not allow getting C’s 😭if you get two of them u will get kicked out the program 🥴
Does nursing school or the hospitals care if you have acrylics? I really want to have my nails done
Most hospitals don't allow nails, you may be able to have nail polish but it depends on the unit and also your clinical instructor!
