Probably not... It does look like it’s the Tanagers CO, but... I thought Torres was awarded for *Rescuing* the sailors of the Tanager, not abandoning them. Film is great though!
@@undefinedhuman7404 just like @AhSaiE said: he was known as the hero of Camberth Harbour, to quote a briefing from SP mission 2 in AC7, due to precise damage control and evacuation orders. It just doesn’t add up with him *yeeting* out of the ship and grabbing a fisherman’s boat. There is another possibility that we could consider here though - whilst Torres commanded the Tanager, someone had to be in charge of the armada. Usually this job would have gone to an Admiral, yet Torres was only a Captain during the Continental War. However, since Admirals usually stay on bigger and stronger ‘Command’ ships (ex.: Battleship Yamato during the Battle of Midway), we can assume that this was actually an unnamed Admiral who cowardly fled the scene!
I would like to think the officer that jumped off was an unnamed officer that could not take the heat and abandoned ship. Also funny that Nassault has to use the Bismarck instead of Iowa because there are no mods or official release of a 1980s Iowa. ED please give us a modernize Iowa Battleship for us to play with.
Invincible Fleet wasn't a battle, it was an execution. To me, it always seemed like that fleet never stood a chance against Mobius 1 and Co. The video does a really good job at making everything seem tense, especially the build-up with the missile chasing Mobius 1 and flares shooting out.
Great job with this one, and I do like your interpretation that the Tanager is a modernised Bismarck Class, it fits well with the Fascist iconography of Erusea.
Tbh, I'm not really sure they're truly fascist. We know that they have a Royal Family, but in terms of how their government actually functions, we know very, very little about them. Of course, what happens with their government and their military are two completely different subjects of discussion entirely
@@Tank50us In Ace Combat 4, it mentions that children in the occupied areas were being taught a new language (implying the Erusean authorities are attempting to forcefully assimilate them,) employing a secret police to round up dissidents and they are straight up called fascists by one of the ISAF pilots. They're definitely authoritarians, and while it's not shown that they believe in some kind of ethnic superiority, forced assimilation implies that. So it's not as clear as it could be if the fit the typical definition of fascists, the best video on which I've seen is this: ruclips.net/video/5Luu1Beb8ng/видео.html But the game calls them fascists, so that's why I used that term.
@@solarisengineering15 The only one that calls them that is the Narrator, who was "just a child", so he may not have known what a fascist even was. And Yellow 13 was pretty offended being called that. So who knows.

A somber show for the Eruseans as they witness, ship by ship, the ultimate sundering of their once proud fleet... I can't get enough of it!
I always viewed the music as the sonar pings and more menacing parts represented the fleet and the triumph thic trumpets represented ISAF and the music is clashing just like the battle

Oh hell yes! You did my favorite mission from AC4! Also, I work on maps for a living, and that map at the beginning was extremely well done! That must have taken some serious work to make a map as crisp as that.
It looks like he was on an older Bismarck class ship. maybe no Aegis installed, the game also took place in 2004 so maybe it was an aging ship that was about to be mothballed anyways.
@@alje311 The actual Battleship Tanager was based off the Iowa class battleship, the New Jersey which did have 4 CWIS guns, which is really my main gripe with this video
the music in the game I feel is from the Erusean perspective, the piece gives a feeling of imminent destruction, like a pearl harbor, the Aiger fleets "Invincible" title card being shattered in mere minutes by a flight of aircraft, one being a ribbon. and this animation, gave that pearl harbor feel. well made. Now Elefant in the room, the tanager in this is not an Iowa class but instead a Bismark class, but I honestly don't mind that fact., it honestly made my mind think what a modernized Bismark would work or function akin to the Iowa class.

Legend has it that Mobius secured a ressuply route and was able to fly in, out and then back in again. That allowed him to sink both anchored ships and the ones trying to flee.
Flying as F-4E, F-14A & F/A-18C allows Mobius 1 to have access to a friendly carrier so technically he definitely did this
I love how you put the tacview in too, this was amazing. 12/10
1/10, no Seawolfs were sunk...best part of the mission smh.
Man this game was my childhood and brings back so much nostalgia, you are doing some amazing work.
This was a memorable mission for me, arguably one of the earliest in game to show off what AC 4 was about for me; a big fight that you both feel powerful in and apart of a larger force.
Hey Nassault wanted to thank you for another masterpiece! I had to give this video the respect it deserves so I watched it on my tv. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate the comment ! I am glad you enjoyed it on your TV! I usually edit my sound to have some left-right variables too so it should sound nice on the home theater :) Cheers !!
You continue to deliver excellent content! This was one of the best ones so far!
ay thanks again Billy! Big praise from you! all the jet chads, follow Billy's DCS photo page! instagram.com/btkgamingphotography/
Your unique style and the way you told the story really helps make you feel the acemanship of Mobius 1.
Dude, fucking amazing. Like there's no other words. It would be so badass if you worked on and did the entire AC4 campaign. This game was legit my childhood. I can't even tell you how many times I played it and still to this day play it.
For those who said the aim-54 hit another missile, what the missile hit was a glide bomb known as the AGM-154 otherwise known as JSOW
And so plan to end 1 million lives was born. Nice subtle nod to Captain Torres there
I'm seriously blown away by this labor of love. Incredible work, you've really outdone yourself with this one!!!
Chills.
O'er azure skies and emerald plains
Where freedom and justice prevail
With courage and strength we'll fly to the end
For liberty in our land
I only just noticed the touch at 1:58 that the Erusean Navy F-14s have 'Marine' on the side as a nod to the French allegory. God I love all the little details in this videos. Fantastic.
please never stop making these... they're a piece of art!
That was amazing work. First class editing eight there. The animations that deviate from the simulator just make you wonder where the game ends and the art begins. FLAWLESS VICTORY
I’m assuming that was Captain Torres, brilliant work as always.
Probably not... It does look like it’s the Tanagers CO, but...
I thought Torres was awarded for *Rescuing* the sailors of the Tanager, not abandoning them. Film is great though!
@@dariusti974 ?
Torres was the commanding officer of the Tanager during the attack
@@undefinedhuman7404 to be fair "the hero of comberth harbor" jumping off the side of a doomed ship doesn't really add up
@@undefinedhuman7404 just like @AhSaiE said: he was known as the hero of Camberth Harbour, to quote a briefing from SP mission 2 in AC7, due to precise damage control and evacuation orders.
Thank you for making more of these, they're wonderful and I rewatch every one many times. You're brilliant at making these!
Invincible Fleet wasn't a battle, it was an execution. To me, it always seemed like that fleet never stood a chance against Mobius 1 and Co. The video does a really good job at making everything seem tense, especially the build-up with the missile chasing Mobius 1 and flares shooting out.
I love how the tanager is a Bismarck class battleship so now it looks like the erusea rebuilt the tirpitz and slapped SAMs on it
Using the missile as a decoy was pretty cool!!
Howdy Pinochad. Glad to see you Around.
The day you had uploaded Comona I had told myself “man I hope he does invincible fleet”
Love it! Great work
Great job with this one, and I do like your interpretation that the Tanager is a modernised Bismarck Class, it fits well with the Fascist iconography of Erusea.
So it's not as clear as it could be if the fit the typical definition of fascists, the best video on which I've seen is this: ruclips.net/video/5Luu1Beb8ng/видео.html
But the game calls them fascists, so that's why I used that term.
@@solarisengineering15 The only one that calls them that is the Narrator, who was "just a child", so he may not have known what a fascist even was. And Yellow 13 was pretty offended being called that. So who knows.
@@solarisengineering15 This, and the fact that the Erusian Remnants are willing to doom the world with Megalith just to spite them
This is amazing! I so glad I stumbled on this, I was just looking for the OST.
2:56 that maneuver takes balls to do without flares too, damn
I'm so happy you did invincible fleet it's like one of my favorite missions out of ace combat 4
Mine too!!!
@@Nassault nice
i was really not happy about this video as i half-watched it while drugged and recovering from surgery. i had to come back to it and read the description to get the point of it. good job, brother
oh crap feel better Cap! Please be well and get some good rest man!!
bro your briefings gets better and better holy shit, amazing video :)))
Another Ace Combat cinematic film? Hell yeah my day just got better
Love these vids you make. And nice touch with the Bismarck class being in same fleet as the Nimitz class
I love how he just put Captain Torres in there.
Just as exactly as I remembered
Man these are always such a treat to watch. Great job as always!
"Don't worry, this ship won't sink"
Mobius 1:
Ah I just saw this one now! This has to be one of your coolest ones yet! Love the detail.
Thanks mike :^)
This work is just impeccable. Subscribed :)
thank you!!!!
Epic how you portray Mobius One as godly yet still bound by the laws of physics and ordinance capacity.
SP機まで登場するあたりマニアックすぎる。
Your talent is truly, A WORLD WITH NO BOUNDRIES!
2:27 My man just Yoshi'd the JSOW.
Nassault, these videos are getting more and more detailed! I love it. Keep bringing them out!!
Crisp white sheets: the prequel
*crisp white sheets: an ace combat story (the origin story)
I know that the music that you use here is the same that is being played during the Invincible Fleet mission, but hot damn, does your video makes it sound even better!
According to the DLC from AC7 it is implied that the battleship sank before the carrier. The photo of the sinking battleship was taken from the carrier.
Well the carrier didn’t sink technically... It just got its island *yeeted* out...
Your films just keep on getting better and better.
this is dope 🔥🔥🔥
Namco, give this man some money! 💸
It's high quality video...
めっちゃレベル上がってる…!
THIS IS WHAT V2 WAS FOR.
Pixy, I know you fought on the Usean Continental War, the ISAF flag on ACZ's last cutscene gives it away ;)

Would love to see you do a Project Wingman video. :) RB and his group made something amazing, and the game is full of memorable moments.
I'm new to your channel too, so I may have missed it, but I hope you've done something with AC5. ^^ I think Chopper's voicelines would fit your style well hehe. But I do love AC4 a lot too.
Oh hell yes! You did my favorite mission from AC4! Also, I work on maps for a living, and that map at the beginning was extremely well done! That must have taken some serious work to make a map as crisp as that.
By far the best mission ever made for Ace Combat
I can’t believe I’m barely watching this! Better late then never I guess. Thanks Nassault for another masterpiece like always!!
今更なコメントだけど、マジで鳥肌立った
This had some of the coolest aerial combat shots you've done. Super fun to watch.
I have tactical radar and AEGIS tecnology, still use my trusty binoculars to locate enemy: Admiral Torres
I have a CIWS that can shoot the hair's off a gnat's ass and nautical range of MILES, Can't shoot down ANYTHING.
@@roetemeteor ace combat logic
Because that makes you look like the Captain of the ship.
Fantastic video! My only issue is the model used for the Tanager is incorrect (it was actually based on the USS New Jersey), but otherwise this was seriously well done.
The battleship looked like the Bismarck also glad you are uploading again
This is the beginning of Captain Matias Torres' descent into darkness. "He walked in all over with his dirty boots over the crisp white sheets of the bed that I have just made!"
"With the SAME boots he wore when he stood at a URINAL!!"
great video! i appreciated the Bed Bath and Beyond link!
3:07 At that moment, it was just a destruction of a single target. But, in the long term, it was the birth of a dreadful villain 15 years later.
