I don't mean to diss the original video, but this version made the mission more haunting with the stone angels and the close ups on the actual forces. Very well done!
Not a diss! I looked at my old one, and it just didn't feel up-to-snuff compared to Blockade and Invincible Fleet. I thought it needed a 6 year improvment maker over.
@@Nassault I see, I saw the two of them together and I find them interesting in their own way. Probably my favorite thing about this is that it’s an excellent new version of the older glatisant video, without invalidating the old one. One of my favorite things about the old one is how it overlaid the “peace conference” radio broadcast with the attack on glatisant, a juxtaposition reflecting the game timeline of how the war didn’t really end with Belka’s capitulation, the original captured that perfectly. The new video lays more focus on the defenders, showing us in much more detail the men on the ground. Bringing to our attention the very human nature of war and conflict. Updating the previous with new context. It honestly feels like the two videos could be different cuts from the same set of events, the newer one perhaps having access to “newly uncovered footage”

This was a much better experience than actually playing the mission, that was incredible.
Keep coming back to this, I love the OG video, but this remaster is amazing, it’s been such an honour to see how you’ve progressed!
Alhumdillah for Ace Combat and Alhumdillah for DCS ❤❤❤
最高にカッコイイ!
心の底からAce Combatを楽しんでたあの頃を鮮やかに思い出させてくれるNassault Film
6年前のGLATISANTも良かったけど
今回も本当に最高です
なんか泣けてきた
Nassault you must make the "Valley of the Kings"!! Fantastic job btw
1:20 tunguska pretty cool right there
beautifully evocative, especially the scene with the soldier staring into the onslaught of missiles
2:04 is an absolute work of art
Theses adaptations of AC missions give me life. I still remember tearing up a bit at the final dogfight in the blockade video.
Can't wait for the next one.
Epic as always Nassault!!!
Also undergrads rocks lol
Thank you!!!
and Nitz is my DCS Multiplayer handle lol
@@Nassault Remember that one episode where the gang jumped on quake and Kruger went OFF like he was playing MW2? lmao
0:13
Belka got the Colt Commando drip 😩
He’s back!
2:04 is so profound. What could be going through his head? “Did I do everything I wanted to? Will my wife remarry? Do I make peace with God?”
3:08 this scene where the angel statue is behind the chaotic battle unfold is really well put man guy!
Even rewatching this stirs up emotions in me man
Man I wish we could get a remake of the "holy trinity" of the AC games.
Wassgood Nassault I'm a big fan of your ace combat vids homie you be bringing me back to my childhood bro. ac4 was my first ace combat game and I haven't played it in years but I've pretty played all the main ace combat games 2,3,4,5,6,and 7 and acx. The only one I haven't played is zero which I want to play very badly. But yea I really appreciate your vids homie they mean a lot to me since this series is my childhood and your blockade vid is one of my favorite vids absolutely goregous cinematography.
Only your vids capture the same energy as playing the game itself its unreal ❤
