Great work, Todd - as always. Ed was terrific in person. Enjoy that sweet ride.
Definitely 3,500 was a gift ! Great video
This tight wad was extremely unrealistic. And I laughed when it was referred to as a "budget". You don't have Ferrari money and then not have the cash to make it great again. He just didn't want to. Big difference. If you're going to do something, do it right. he left the door sills half assed. I don't get it. The whole fix was a gift, if you ask me.
Funny how Ed got his way buying the car and then detailing the car. Impressive negotiating skills.
The "deal" was only on the painting portion...
Beautiful work!
AWESOME NEXT LEVEL DETAILING!!!!-
Thank you!
What compound did you use on the taillights? Nice job by you and your team!
How did you get around the paint cure time?
Great job. Sad to see and hear how people pay so much for these cars and they come from the factory with paint issues, unacceptable in my book.
Anyone know how many miles on this car?
Extraordinary work, impressive! What model is your Rupes polisher?
Thank you. We use all of their models!
Uhm, am i missing something here? we just saw many episodes on how you detailed this car. This is a recap or???
This is a full recap...
very usefull :P
How much was the total cost ??????
We didn't...
My 430 is the same Silverstone Gray color which I like with both the red or brown leather. Lucky my paint is in excellent condition. The paint in that car was a mess. I think extra work was done because of the RUclips video and who Ed is. This does not represent what a normal customer will get. That is the issue I have with these videos. What was Ed thinking he would get for $3500. He is educated enough in the car collecting world to know 3500 gets you very little. Shipping the car alone back and forth is about $1400 each way. I wish you would give a written breakdown of exactly what this job cost including shipping, labor and product. Not the Ed deal.
We actually do a lot of projects like this, and have for many years. Each project is different, each car is different, and each owner has different wants and needs. All of our projects are quoted individually, so if it's something you're interested in, please contact us directly.
@@Esotericdetail I have no problem with your work or what you charge. The issue I have is just be up front with the viewer with the cost for this project since the budget of $3500 was talked about. If you did not mention the budget then I don’t see a need for you to explain the price. Confusing the viewer with a $3500 price is the issue. I am sure Ed and you had an agreement for what work needed to be done and this kind of video is basically a form of advertising for your company and that you probably did the work because it was filmed with Ed. Ed has been in the car business a long time and knows darn well the cost involved do that kind of work. The car was very rough when delivered to you. No mention was made of the cost to deliver the car to your shop and to return the car to Ed. Cost for shipping is not cheap. I did not hear anywhere in the video of Ed driving the car to your shop or driving it back. It would had been best for The video to point out that your shop did Ed a favor and this is the work that we did and skip the $3500 part of the video. That’s all I am saying. As a viewer I am giving my opinion. You guys had the option to turn the comment section off but that was not done.
@@dphotos007 $3,500 was clearly stated as just the job for painting work, and nothing else. We do not discuss pricing in any of our videos, but felt it important to talk about the re-painting of the vehicle and costs associated since it was such a low number compared to what painting normally is. And with getting such a "deal" on painting, he also knew that he wasn't getting the quality of paint job that would come with a $15k~$20k paint job, hence the amount of work we had to put into it afterwards.
@@Esotericdetail I respect your opinion on this but I have a completely different view on how this was presented. We will just leave it at that.
Wasn't this posted awhile ago?
This is a recap video that includes information from all 6 in the series!
