I adopted a kitten earlier this year and have been delighted to find out that he is a Ragdoll! We have named him "Kitten Chow" (don't ask, it's a long story). He has the most wonderful, thick ruff around his neck and a very floofy tail. He makes sure that I get up on time every morning, by carefully patting my cheek and nose until I wake up. He likes to sleep in bed between my head and the headboard. Then he follows me around all day, carrying on a conversation with little trills and chirps. I love him so much ❤️❤️❤️

I am very mentally ill, I’m in a horrible situation rn where I don’t know what’s going on with me and I’m on multiple waiting lists for psychiatrists. I would love a cat like this, I feel like a calm, cuddly cat would help me a lot. I’ve never owned a cat and I’ve researched a bit and I seen that not all Ragdolls are like this. Is there anyway to tell whether or not they will be like this before buying. Also, I have bad episodes sometimes, will that stress out a rag doll kitten? I don’t want to put a kitten in distress
Hey! Very sorry to hear that, I do hope you will be able to get the help that you need soon!! 💕 You are correct, cats are individuals and there is no guarantee or any personal traits when you’re buying a kitten. Breeders are able to tell sometimes if a cat is suitable for someone’s personal needs, so I would suggest to get in touch with as many breeders as you can and explain what you are looking for. In terms of kittens getting scared, yes it may take cats quite some time to learn to trust you and you need to be VERY patient. Another thing I would suggest is that you could look into rehoming an adult cat, there’s websites and Facebook groups for that, some are specifically for Ragdolls. You could get in touch with people that run these and ask to let you know if they have a suitable cat available 💗
They are all individuals, initially Pixie wasn't that cuddly at all. We found giving her space and time helped with that and she wanted more attention the less we tried. Now I can't walk from room to room without her following and asking for cuddle 🥰
@@PixieandBluebell that’s awesome! Thanks so much for the reply. Yea Leo seems very independent but still loves my attention because he follows me around and rubs his head on my legs and stuff. It’s only on his terms and that’s ok. Also hes only 2 years old and still may change as he ages. Thanks!
Be patient and give her time! Don't force anything, some cats just don't like being held. As for responding to the name, always call her name when giving food, petting, getting treats out, and she'll start associating her name with things related to her :)
Hi, my boyfriend and I want to get a ragdoll kitten in fall but I wonder if cigarette smoke bothers them ? Because we smoke in the apartment, but we air out pretty frequently during the day. Cute catsss
From your opinion what cat is more affectionate when there an adult like your Jon bias opinion because I’m stuck on what gender to get 😟 and no one is giving me a good answer lol
Sorry but I don’t think I can give you a satisfactory answer either! 🙈 it very much depends on their individual personality and what you consider as affectionate. We were told that male cats tend to be more affectionate, but we also heard opposite opinions. Bluebell is a very cuddly and affectionate boy and likes to be pet all the time, he’s friendly to strangers and very active. Pixie on the other hand likes a cuddle on her terms and it very much depends on the time of the day, but when she shows affection, it is absolutely the cutest thing in the world and she gives headbumps and loves kisses. Neither of our cats is a lap cat though! Hope this helps a little! 💗
Hey i have a question, can you make a video (or let me know if u already made a video) on all the things you need for your 2 cats? Maybe it would help a lot of people :) Love the videos thanks!
Hi guys! I just got a kitten and he’s very hyper! This cat tree would be perfect for keeping him busy. I’d love to win! My Instagram is @paulbuckley_23
I have been watching all your videos here because they're fun, entertaining and informative. Pixie and Bluebell are the sweetest kitties :) I agree about needing to be productive. I am lucky and can work from home during lockdown, but after workhours I have my daily routines I need to do before I can relax or else I won't be able to relax. We have a British shorthair cat named Alex and he is almost 14 years old now. We did have 2 Brits, another one named Sylvester, he sadly died of a heart disease 9 days before he was about to turn 12 years old, about 2 years ago now. Alex is doing good on his own but we can see that he is more demanding and want our attention all the time so we have now decided to get another cat. After thinking long and hard, looking up different cat breeds we have decided on a Ragdoll and have found a good breeder, picked out a nice little Ragdoll boy who we will be getting in the beginning of July. It will be exciting to see how they will be getting along. Alex is a calm and mellow cat so I think it will be ok, but you can never know. We did however look after a little kitten for a friend a little while ago and it didn't t take long before Alex was playing with her, no hissing or fighting at all. We did of course not leave them alone when we weren't there. Alex is still very playful even though he is almost 14 years old, so when we had the kitten in the house he almost became a kitten himself :)
Thank you! Oh, so sorry for your loss! That is very interesting, we did think that they definitely need a little less of our attention when they can play together. So sweet, I am sure you will absolutely love having a Ragdoll. British shorthair was on our list when we were choosing a breed too! I hope Alex and your new kitten will be best of friends! 💕
I have a saying for my Ragdoll "you went to cute school and took ALL the lessons"

You are correct, cats are individuals and there is no guarantee or any personal traits when you’re buying a kitten.
Your gorgeous bed baby ... is he/she a blue bi-colour?
Bluebell is a blue bicolour boy 💙
He is exquisite! A prince 👑
I’m also in lockdown with Ragdolls! Wouldn’t have it any other way 😹
Has anybody ever heard of a ragdoll that doesn’t cuddle that much? Mine rarely gets in bed with me and hates being picked up
They are all individuals, initially Pixie wasn't that cuddly at all.
Thanks!
My Raggdoll cat call mitzy she grey face very fluffy she only 1year old still growing
my 4 month old ragdoll doesn't like to be held and she is still not responsive to her name what can I do?
Be patient and give her time! Don't force anything, some cats just don't like being held. As for responding to the name, always call her name when giving food, petting, getting treats out, and she'll start associating her name with things related to her :)
What course are you guys studying? And also I have been waiting for a VLOG for a long time. Thanks.
Thank you! We are doing Mathematics & Statistics and Data Science :)
@@PixieandBluebell Good subjects!
@@PixieandBluebell Masters? Data Science my favourite!
@@PixieandBluebell this does help thank you for your detailed response 💜💕
You should warm their meals, its awful to give them cold food.
Your ragdolls are so cute but have ever give them a real bath
We haven't! They clean themselves very well, we only sometimes need to clean their bum or paws if they step into 💩 in the litter box
Hey i have a question, can you make a video (or let me know if u already made a video) on all the things you need for your 2 cats? Maybe it would help a lot of people :) Love the videos thanks!
Hey! Check out our video called Catsentials! We also did a video on a cost of owning a cat 💕
Am I the only one curious about what they were studying?
Maths 😉
Can I have your cat please
comments would be better received if they were typed in and kept to a minimum
This is a VLOG... 😹
Hi guys!
I just got a kitten and he’s very hyper! This cat tree would be perfect for keeping him busy. I’d love to win! My Instagram is @paulbuckley_23
Am I the only person that lets my rag doll out out.
I have been watching all your videos here because they're fun, entertaining and informative. Pixie and Bluebell are the sweetest kitties :)
I agree about needing to be productive.
