Ragdolls have their own personalities with their wee cute face as a kitten that's why I love them had two in my street sadly both are dead but loved their every minute being with them a joy to watch and see them growing up

Beautiful cats 🥰. I have a 1/4 calico coloured MSH female who is 10 years and a 7 year old 1/2 LH black male with flame markings which are noticeable in the sun. My female is very demanding for attention, purrs non stop, loudly for up to 10 minutes. My male is very affectionate, loves a cuddle every afternoon. He is absolutely gorgeous, but o boy, they can be very tiring. Wouldn’t be without them though. My female is larger than a domestic, my male is big.
Question how many cats do you have? Like I have 2 Queens I'm trying to work out if I keep a boy? I don't really have alot of room both queens have a shared enclosure both very happy. I do have a lady I use to use her boys but would love to have a boy. But I have heard alot of bad things like pee smells ect definitely not a pet that you could bring inside? Thoughts
That is a difficult question to answer…I haven’t had both types of boys, some super clean, live indoors, and others have been so sweet and friendly but spray on every surface and are very pungent. You probably have to assume the latter just in case and be prepared for it. Males also must be kept seperate from females to avoid accidental pregnancies. You also have to be careful that some entire males can be very aggressive if they’re not being given enough girls to breed with. I would go along to a cat show, qld have them most weekends and chat to other breeders to get an idea of what they have done. You are exceptionally lucky to be able to get stud services from a fellow breeder, though it does limit you to using the type of cat they have chosen for their program. Definitely have a good think and investigate all options.
@ringoffireragdolls Yes, it's a very tricky question topic, I guess I understand boys are to be separate from the Queens 👸 I guess I just wanted to experience it myself meaning when I decide to put them together pin point dates ect. But being realistic, I don't think 2 girls will keep stud cat happy lol. At the moment, mailbu is calling every second. I just don't have a big space outdoors for both sex. my mentor is amazing 👏 and has been breeding for 20 years, so I'm very lucky. Thanks again for clarifying it for me. I have been to a couple of cat shows my Gucci Bloom is a show cat 🐈 😻 she's day 54 today I can't wait as this is my first ever litter.
