i’m getting a kitten near the end of august, so ive been bingewatching all these cat adoption videos ! this was one of my favorites, she is so adorable :)
My mum just got her ragdoll kitten 5 days ago. Her name is Mia and she's 10 weeks old. She is also a seal point and she is the biggest pur head! I have never come across a cat that is so happy and affectionate in my life. She loves cuddles. They are the most beautiful breed of cat!
They really are the best breed! I agree! Yes Maisie is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever come across too, I love how they follow you about everywhere! I hope your mum is getting on well with her kitten 😊

most beautiful smart and nicest breed i will never get a different kind i have 2 a seal bicolor and a lilac mitted one of them poops and pees outside (on a leash obv ragdolls arent allowed to be outdoor cats) and refuses to pee and poop in liter box the other if someone says hey siri she will come flying and start meowing and purring and also only drinks sink water

I have looked up certain brands, like everything u could imagine .... i hope a will be a good cat mum when i get a kitten
I just got 2 little precious ragdoll babies a week ago tomorrow, (Nori is a seal bicolor and Pippen is a blue point) and I dont know that they are as old as the breeder claims. They are both tiny, very skittish and not truly interested in people or cuddling or being held/petted. I dont know if this is something that they grow out of? I believe they may just now be 8 weeks old, and i have been keeping them in their little kitten sanctuary. It is our guest room, with 4 different kinds of beds, 2 cat towers, multiple scratching posts and pads, 2 litterboxes, 2 cat fountains, and soooo many toys. I have been going in with them every hour to talk to them, sit with them, and pet them as often as they will let me. They rarel u purr, and no bisquits have been made as of yet. Should i be doing anything different to allow them to become more comfortable and want to be near us? They have seen our dogs, but are terrified of them, so we have not had them meet yet. I want them to get comfortable and confident in their room, with us, and then introduce them to the rest of the house and eventually the pups. I will be teuly devastated if they have no interest in us or our dogs, because I did so much research on what cats would best fit in our family, and they were not cheap but... l hope they will be loving and snuggly soon and can meet our other fur babies. Any advice or help would be so welcome! 16:28
She's adorable ❤❤❤ I used to have a Ragdoll too, for almost 12 years she passed away 1 year ago. Still not I over it she was the best thing that happened to me. Now I know for sure I can't live without at least 1 Ragdoll in my life. After the summer I'll have one(or two) again the thought of it makes me so happy! What do you guys think about having only one cat - in this case one Ragdoll? I remember I regretted it soo much that I didn't take one of her her siblinga as well by then. Especially the first week she was searching her mommy and siblings. It made me cry. My cat has had a happy healthy life but I always wondered, and still wonder - if 2 cats are better than one? What is your opinion?

But she got darker as she got older. Im not sure if she was a Ragdoll, Burmese, Balinese or just a long haired Siamese...so confusing! Do you know the difference??
Ragdolls are my dream cats since I was young. Sadly they’re crazy expensive, like $2,000-$3,500 dollars. My childhood tabby cat was just $99 for adoption 😂

Hey! she goes through phases where she will shed lots and then at other times not as much! but if you have the time you can brush them every day to help with the shedding! We LOVE having her and would not change it for the world! Highly recommend the breed!

the only bad things about ragdolls is they need more attention then normal kikis and they are at least like 1500 bucks usually but dogs are a lot too so it isn’t unreasonable

For anyone taking blankets, I would recommend having the mothers sent on the blanket when young and than start by introducing a different blanket with your sent on to get them use to your obvs, haha, getting my Siberian kitten in 2 WEEKSS

Is that a bachelor unit?...It is too small to have a cat ...actually the cat is already in some distress to the size of the confined living space... not fair to the cat at all to make her live there... completely tiny... like a jail. people in those units have no business owning a cat.It's absolutely cruel.

Not sure how you can grasp how big our house is from this one video 😂 she was kept in the kitchen the first day not to overwhelm her as most cats go and hide under the sofa we didnt want her to get lost in the house.... as you can tell she is completely the opposite and a very confident cat that just wanted to explore!

Very few cats will drink water from a bowl that is next to there food, so water bowls should be well away from food bowls, i believe the reason has something to do with wild animals instincts are not drinking next to a fresh or recent kill as it may have contaminated the water.

You need to buy a automatic water fountain that reclaims the water through a filter to keep the water clean and cool. If the water stay in a dish throughout the day they won’t want to drink it. They like fresh water to drink.
We did have one of those but she didnt like it and prefers the glass of water we keep upstairs for her! Good idea though as I am sure a lot of cats like them!

Very few cats will drink water from a bowl that is next to there food, so water bowls should be well away from food bowls, i believe the reason has something to do with wild animals instincts are not drinking next to a fresh or recent kill as it may have contaminated the water.
She has other bowls throughout the house!

You need to buy a automatic water fountain that reclaims the water through a filter to keep the water clean and cool. If the water stay in a dish throughout the day they won’t want to drink it. They like fresh water to drink.
We did have one of those but she didnt like it and prefers the glass of water we keep upstairs for her! Good idea though as I am sure a lot of cats like them!
