On the one hand, I'm glad this video has so few views because my opponents are very unlikely to see such wise advice. On the other hand, Mark is really sharing some huge tips and deserves hundreds of thousands of eyes on this.
Amazing content- thanks a lot! one question: i think this strategys shoud be also working for MTT? maybe on the turn we had to adjust the sizing that we have a good SPR still on the river
Thanks Marc. Your video instantly turn me into a much better player than before. Lately I have 18straight winning sessions which before rarely happened
What do we do if the villains overbet or checkraise us when we have top pair? For example, you say they're not folding AJ in that last scenario. But what if we have AJ on button and face such a raise in response to a standard cbet? It seems like there's no easy decision. Call and you may have to give up to future aggression frequently, fold and you may be overfolding.
just discovered ur channel i think i ive watch all the videos already amazing stuff, do you apply the same thinking process in online cash game ? i mean probably but i feel like good regs in online cash find more bluff then what u describe in ur videos, what do u think about that ?
some of the concepts would apply at low stakes online like below 50nl. but there’s more solid players, and you’re mostly playing 100bb, and most of this content is for deep stack (200bb) live.
Awesome videos! Very easy to follow and understand. Do you change your strategy in 3BPs or do you just change the betsizes depending on the SPR? Any plans to start a Discord channel? :)
thanks! for 3bp there are a bunch of little nuances but a lot of the concepts are the same. we have an active discord but it’s only for paid members of bootcamp - keeps the community responses super high value and makes sure everyone is a contributor / no trolls.
I wonder with #2 where you b150 after they XR flop and you make the nut flush - on J92 they have more JX combos than 99 33 and J9? I see people check-raise TP all the time to "find out where they are at". I like the overbet on board textures where villains can have all set combos, more 2p combos in their range. Are you assuming they don't XR much top pair? Thoughts?
my best guess is top pair gets xr by population maybe 5-10% of the time on wet / dyn, and sets/2p get raised maybe 85% of the time. if you’re playing against someone who raises tp all the time tho, going small on these flush completing turns (w both value and bluffs) seems good.
appreciate the request, but not really interested in making a video on this because i think it's a terrible idea. wait til you can afford to buy in deep with shot takes + you know you have a big edge. if neither of those 2 things are true yet, don't shot take.
I have a question, is there a way to keep people in the pot when you hit high pocket pairs? Because you want to get the money in when you're ahead, but how big is too big preflop?
With the AJ vs KJ, bet, bet, check then call over bet theory what happens if the player gets tentative with QQ or KK checks river with intent to call? We just lose? I’m assuming that your perspective is that QQ or KK never checks the river? However if you’re considered an aggressive player who overbred for value on the above hand then why wouldn’t some reverse the play and check shove? I used to induce a river bluff by betting small vs aggressive players in situations such as this. Great videos! I appreciate the perspective and tips.
I've loved all of your content and maybe this one the most. I do worry that if a dealer ever puts out a J92 flop with two spades, I'll exclaim "Look at that sweet baby there!"
After you check raise the flop huge as the OOP PFC what do you do vs a call when the nuts change? You have bottom set and the flush completes. Block or check and pray the villain hasnt watched this video and bets a normal size?
I would imagine you are changing you strategy if you feel like villain is gonna over fold vs the over bet. You have AA on Q922 you think vs 2x pot they even fold some Q's maybe only continue with KQ+. Not going so big with value but massive with bluffs?
I found it interesting how you said “cbet a size that will get calls from worse and raised by 2 pair and sets (1/2 pot)” and you do just that vs a 1/2 pot cbet holding bottom set in the last example. Wouldn’t this be an easy bet/fold by the villain if he follows your advice?
this is an oversimplification that just does not apply most of the time, imo. on boards with obvious draws (wet/dynamic) villains are more likely to fastplay there very strong hands on flops/turns. so yes - we're going to get looked up light sometimes. but also - they just don't have many (any) strong hands. that's why i spend so much time discussing these topics in videos - it's not that simple.
On the one hand, I'm glad this video has so few views because my opponents are very unlikely to see such wise advice. On the other hand, Mark is really sharing some huge tips and deserves hundreds of thousands of eyes on this.

what do you guys think of this one? what do you want to see more of? any topics you'd like covered? have a special surprise coming soon....
Top 5 places you NEED multiple sizings.
Top 5 times to QUIT a session.
Top 5 reasons to PROBE turns.
@@DoubleBassX2love the caps 😂
Love it. BeEn experimenting with ridiculous sizings lately as you have been saying, and i think im beginning to turn into a hippo currently.
Great info! Thank you

Great video. I've always struggled with what bet sizing to use and when. I laughed a bunch and learned a lot. Thanks Mark.
Love these videos! Much easier to find time to watch than 30 minute videos.
I've subbed to clp largely to be able to watch more of your vids. Great stuff and love how clearly you explain things!
hey appreciate that! consider one of our bootcamps if you want to make a huge leap
Great content as always. Something strangely comforting about that J92 flop..
And in hand 3, which white 7 footer is villain? Jim McIlvaine?
all u gotta do is hope that flop comes at the casino and you’ll play so perfect

Mark is one of my favorite poker videos ever ! Thanks Mark . I won money every day in Vegas cash games . I hope I get to thank you in person someday 😊
Hi marc nice video so far. I know your content are medium to advanced players but what you think start a playlist to medium to lower players?
Just found your page last night. Wow wow, great content. Plan on watching all the videos before I play my next session
let me know if you have any questions 🥰

@@hungryhorsepoker Cool. How much for the bootcamp? And whats the biggest changes in the strategy when you play online compared to live? :)
what if you got check raised on the flop on those first 2 hands?
Can you make videos on tournament play?

Hey Marc. Could u do a video on how to shot take with 50-60bb stacks? looking for that jump from 1/2/5 to 2/5/10

u tell us to always c bet but also say ppl stab too much, how do u protect check back range?
Cant wait until J92 comes out on the flop....... lol I know why you actually use that for examples :) appreciate another vid.
it’s the best flop!
So what's a bad rake size anyways?
Do you do coaching ?

Because they literally look like ducks. Think of a duck swimming on a pond facing left, it's shaped like the number 2
