I love my Omega Seamaster 300. I went in wanting the black dial and came out with the white dial, you gotta see it in person cuz pictures don't do it justice.
I went in wanting the white dial and left with the white dial 😜 but the green dial was very tempting but thought the green color was a little to dark for my liking. This blue is killer!
I went in wanting the black dial and came out with the black dial after seeing the black, white , and green. There's just nothing like the sickness of the shiny black dial against the steel case and red text. The shadow of the black dial makes the steel case almost look gunmetal in certsin angles. Its lovely.

I’m very sorry to hear about your father. I’m a couple of years older than you, but I have almost the exact same set of experiences. My dad passed away in 2021, and I ended up buying a white-dial Seamaster almost exactly two years ago also as a graduation present to myself, and I don’t regret it at all. In fact, I have it on my wrist right now. I get a little sick of it at times because it’s the only watch I have (I’m planning on expanding my collection in the near future), but overall, I absolutely love this watch. It’s such a dynamic and intricately designed watch. It’s very special.
Bought the white dial SMP300 3 years ago for my 31th birthday. Today is my birthday and i am wearing it now. Never got bored of it. It is still my only expensive watch.
I'm about to get mine tomorrow (Green SMP), long story short my mum passed away two years ago tomorrow and I bought this 4 months ago to receive it as a last parting gift from her to me, as soon as I saw this timepiece I knew it was the perfect choice and instantly fell in love with it. Thank you Harrison for another great review
When someone sees you wear Rolex, most of the time they question the authenticity of the watch. When someone sees you wear Omega, they admire and appreciate the watch, usually.
I love that you love the omega seamaster. It’s great to see someone not follow the reviewer crowd and enjoy something other than a Rolex. Personally the seamaster 300 is a little too big, I prefer the Pelagos 39, but if it was a little smaller I would be all over it. Happy new year 🎉
Can't believe you forgot Vesper's name 😢. And I got into the SMP300M in a similar fashion. My dad got the 2002 Brosnan version back then, and then seeing it on his wrist and then the transitional model on Daniel Craig in Casino Royale in 2006 (that blue SMP with red Seamaster lettering) contrasting with his tux at the poker table was just so badass and I was sold on it. Finally bought the current model (was my first watch purchase too) in Nov after I saw NTTD. Had a big work accomplishment around then too, and it Chanukah was coming up too. Also got married in June prior but never got the wedding watch. So I finally went to an AD and bought the current version of the blue SMP which I've wanted a blue SMP since those early 2000s. Then it was all downhill from there and started looking at what other brands were out there. I was only ever interested in Omega when I'd walk into a watch shop and lost interest if they didn't have it. Always knew about Rolex, Seiko, Citizen, Casio/G-shock, Tag Heuer, but didnt know about the other luxury brands or any microbrands and Independents. Then I discovered IWC, Tudor, Grand Seiko, Cartier (each have one of those now too), and also fell in love with JLC, longines, Fears, NOMOS, and plenty of other brands that I don't yet own but would love to some day. But the blue SMP300M from Brosnan and Craig will always be the catalyst. And it's badass knowing we both have blue SMP300M divers that are about 20 yrs apart.
Every time, when i look on my OSP 300m- white dial-,my hearts beats a lot of faster ;-) When the sun shines, the white dial and bezel shine so incredibly and on a cherry red Nato, is perfect! The superluminova looks like ,in the dark, from another Star. Most beautiful watch i have ever bought.Wish you all a happy new year❤
Love my Seamaster. Just bought the omega mesh bracelet from CH and got it fitted xmas eve. Absolutely love the look of it with the black face. £755 for a strap seemed excessive but totally transforms the look of the watch ⌚️ ❤
Epic mate! Thanks so much for coming in. The strap can totally change the personality of a watch, fire me a pic of it on the CHwatches Instagram! Would love to see it 🙌🙌
I have this exact same setup on my whited dialed SM 300. Love the look. In fact I loved it so much I bought it twice. My second one is the blue and live on the OEM blue rubber start. It's the only watch in my collection that I have two of. One reminds me of winter, the other summer!
My first expensive watch was the blue version of the Seamaster Pro 300. I loved it so much I eventually got the white, black and No Time to Die. Love them all. The summer blue color is just beautiful. Pictures and videos do not do it justice.
100% will admit that I too love Omega because of the Casino Royale train scene with Bond and Vesper -made me want a Seamaster before I ever cared about watches at all. Also- saw that new blue in San Diego when they first came out last July - it (the diver 300m) was def my favorite of that blue collection- although I do wish it had the transparent caseback
It’s so awesome to hear someone talk this way about THEIR watch…which model it is really matters less than hearing how eloquently you talked about why you love this time piece…great to hear different opinions on why a watch is great! Nice time piece!
Seamaster is iconic but for me you cant beat the sword hands and thinner case of a peter blake! Nowadays much prefer the Tudor Pelagos as a serious tool diver
Great review. I have this version and have it on the OEM deployant and it is so dang comfortable- along with the Aqua Terra and the moonwatch, I have my dream Omega Trio
Great video content Harrison. I have the white version a few years now, and my beautiful wife surprised me Christmas morning with this SMP300 summer blue edition on steel and I’ve the blue rubber strap arriving any day. Love em both. Keep up the fantastic content.
@@Greygoose3130 Absolutely luckily for me she’s into watches too, and she’s a watchmaker, so when I need any of them serviced, she happy to service them for me. So it’s win win, she recently serviced my 34 yr old Rolex sea dweller 4000 & Tudor Submariner which is 34 yr old too Thank you
I have the White faced version I bought in the CH shop in Edinburgh late last year. I got the rubber strap version and it is a near perfect watch. Very comfortable, easily read. If I was to change anything it would be to extend the power reserve. I have no issues with the HEV, it's less obvious than the other iconic features of it's rivals Cyclops eye or snowflake hands
Just got my James Bond 60 Love it a lot But seeing the seamaster 300m 75 anniversary It’s another master piece They are all blue but beautiful in different way Debating should I pull the trigger for 75th anniversary Such a gem
I got the chrome version on OEM. Strap monstor bought the mesh/rubber/Korea NATO I dont even wear my speedy or hamilton field watch anymore. Perfect one watch for me.
I got the blue because it's awesome, the JB colour, and was waiting for latest black Sub. Love the Omegas bracelet with no taper and micro adjust, and the 2 different lume colours. It's definitely equal to my Sub overall.
Well presented Harrison (as always). While I don't always agree with every view of every point from the channel I do agree with you on this watch. Most of the reviews of the SMP300M 'seem' to be copy and paste although I'm sure many reviewers can come to the same conclusion after time with the watch. My usual SMP300M bingo card includes: "too thick", "I hate the skeleton hands", The bracelet does not taper", "The bezel is ****" and "The He valve is ****". Now, I confess I own a Great White SMP300M and have lived with it for over 3 years or so. I find it's a great watch for at a glance reading the time (no issues with the hands), I do use the timing bezel quite a lot and I find it functions just fine (it does not have the mechanical finesse of a Submariner though) without any back play and I find the bracelet brilliant having the push button on the fly micro adjust and as this is a tools watch I'm not bothered about a taper (but it would be nice) . As you mention the wart.. sorry He valve at the '10' is a characteristic of the watch and I no longer notice it on my watch but I do notice it on other peoples wrists. Thanks for sharing.
I own the blue dial smp300 w metal strap and somehow I always reach for it each day over all my other watches. Fits perfectly and makes me feel like Bond..cheers mate!
Bought the Green Seamaster Pro about 6 months ago. I wasnt fond of the steel bracelet that comes on it and bought the stainless mesh bracelet (Omega OEM) WOW, this watch is amazing and looks amazing!!! Been an Omega fan for years and own a few others....I dont believe there is a better built watch...and they keep getting better and better.
I’m currently thinking about getting a white Seamaster. I set out to get a Rolex for my third watch and ended up looking at these! Such a beautiful watch in the flesh. I currently have a 2007 Planet Ocean with orange bezel and a black BB58 on a leather strap.
I love seamsters and also had the this white one which I trade for black. It's wild how much larger the white one looks because of that white black contrast. You can easily see this in your side by side with the blue
The Seamaster Professional happened to my first luxury watch that I bought myself a couple of years ago. It was a Chronograph from 2004 reference 2599.80, no ceramic bezel of course and it was equipped with the Valjoux 7750. I actually ended up selling it because I felt it was a bit too big for my wrist. Now after two Tudors and a Rolex, an Omega Seamaster Professional is back on my wrist. It's the current version on the steel bracelet with the silver or grey dial, what ever you want to call it. There're a few things I noticed when now that I'm able to compare these two pieces. For starters, the bracelet on the new model is better, far better in my opinion. Especially the endlinks. On the older models they stick out a tiny bit making the watch appear larger than it actually is. On the current model they go straight down hugging your wrist hence the watch wears so much better. The crown is also bigger and easier to grip. A complaint I sometimes had with my Chrono. The crown simply was too small. The clasp is also more refined now featuring a micro adjustment system. Now, I know there are some things about the SMP that people don't like. The bracelet being to wide, the helium escape valve ruining the symmetry of the watch etc. But all these quirks make the Seamaster a Seamaster. It's just like Harrison said. This watch or actually this collection of watches will always have a special place in my heart. Specially since I got a bit bored with the whole watch topic lately. But this piece, for me at least, will never be boring.
❤I have the white one and it’s crisp. I have a 1979 seamaster with blue dial never serviced running perfectly so that is a good sign. Newer movement might see me out
The same love for my seamaster Diver 300m black dial from France 🇫🇷 😉 So sporty and elegant 🥰🥰 I love it too, dear Harrisson Keep on to delight us 🙏👍🏻 😘😘
Fully agree. Had the "Brosnan" one in automatic. Now the current in classic blue on steel and alternately rubber. Genuine design in every detail. Have had two subs (date/no date) in between, but am back. Maybe it's also because my father wore Omega. ;-)
Great video, one of my favourites of yours as it is clear how genuinely you feel about the watch. I do not own it, but have had an eye on it for years now and I keep coming back to this model. A sign perhaps lol. Keep up the good work!
Still my all time favorite watch, it’ll be the my gift to myself when I lock down this next rung of my career ladder. I can’t ever decide if I need the blue dial or the silver dial, but that Summer Blue came out of nowhere and made it even harder. Also was deeply affected by Daniel Craig’s Bond correcting Vesper Lynd myself! “Rolex?” “Omega.” “Beautiful.”
Hey Harrison, I love your white Seamaster and I love my green iteration, but the summer blue in this video looks amazing! I was a bit nonplussed with the summer blue releases, liked the colour and shades but remained on the fence. Your videography here, for the first time has highlighted how beautiful the Seamaster (at least) is and now has me wondering if I should be swapping my swampy for one 🤔
I've owned a Rolex Submariner since 2017, but was coaxed into buying an Omega SMP. And I have to say that, while they may serve the same function, the way each wears is very different. The SMP wears like a tank; there is no taper to the bracelet. The Submariner feels dainty by comparison. But if I'm being honest, the SMP feels better on the wrist; it wears flatter, because there is no bubbleback and the lack of taper on the bracelet feels like it balances the watch better. I think if I had smaller wrists (7.25") then the SMP would be too large and I'd appreciate the Submariner better, but for me, the SMP just seems to look and feel better. YMMV.
Harrison- I need the low down on activities anyone could do while wearing the omega seamaster. are there any risks wearing this watch while: dirt biking, golfing, chainsawing, jogging, water skiing, snow skiing....basically activities were you are bouncing around, jarring the watch, etc... thanks for your help in this.
Had it in white, along with a 300 heritage and over a dozen other pieces, mostly divers. Bought a Rolex explorer 36mm (ref 124270) and haven’t worn anything else since. Have a feeling I’m going to slowly sell most of them but don’t want to regret doing it so I’m going to wait another 3 months just to be sure it’s the right thing. Still love the other watches, just don’t love them on me.
Im a owner of a Seamaster 300 from 2016 blue no wave dial , and it will be mine until the day i die and then my daughter ! Its my grial watch amd my love in the watch world !
I have the Casino Royal version of the SMP300, and I'm looking into getting the new one in black but I've heard some rumours about the bezel being flimsy or loose after a while, is that really the case?
Do you know why some of the luminated knobs (on 1-12) are rounded on top and some are on 90 degree angle? I am buying this watch in a month, and this disturbs me, as I’ve seen both - rounded (on top) and angular… thanks in advance for the response!
Really need help here…im torn between the white, grey, and the summer blue.. which one i should get.. im a little little bit tiny more to grey, any comment about the grey?about the versatility… please anyone and of course mr harrison, any thoughts?
Loving the uploads, keep it up but I do prefer the adventure/outdoor style videos especially over the office space ones, get some more outdoor/hiking watch reviews up.
I'm glad you enjoy your seamaster. It's definitely more unique and less common than the Rolex. And technically far superior. But in my opinion, Omega just have not nailed the design yet. The busy dial, helium escape valve and non tapering bracelet are just a few reasons why I don't think this watch will look good in 30 years, but the rolex will, even if it's more "boring". And secretly I think many, not all, but many seamaster owners wish they had a sub instead. But they can't get it either due to demand or won't allow themselves to enjoy it because it became fashionable to trash on Rolex lately.
When it was first announced, the white dial smp300 was my choice if I were to get one. The others are nice, but, my weird gravitation towards white dial black bezel divers persists from my first luxury watch which was a white dial black bezel Tag Heuer diver from the mid-90s. My current modern alternative to such a watch is a Grand Seiko SBGX115. I do enjoy the fact it's the only white dial GS diver and one of the few that has no date which is a neat rarity within the brand. YES, it's a quartz, but, it's a very excellent HAQ 9F movement. It's somewhat fitting as my TAG Heuer was a quartz, as well. There's something extra tooly and rugged about a solid quartz diver that makes perfect cents. Even if not diving, as most of us don't, we wear as a daily do anything watch and it is definitely suited for that.
Great review, I completely agree this watch is really hard to beat especially at the price. I have the silver dial with blue bezel and was my very first "luxury" watch. I bought it when I was on the waiting list for a Submariner and was getting tired of waiting! I have a bond with this watch and will always keep it in the collection and will always be a favorite! Thanks again for the fantastic video 😉
(Just my opinion) but I’ve always found the seamaster handset so flimsy-looking. The open space in the hands make the watch come off; almost as a gimmicky watch trying to seem luxorious. Idk though, I might be in the minority here. Great story and video as Always though.
I owned before the James Bond edition in black dial and sold it after 2years. It was a descent timepiece except for few drawbacks : the dwarf hour hand, the bezel action and grip, the retail price!
Its lovely.

Couldn’t agree more, love my black dial, goes with anything.
I wanted the blue and ended up with the black. Black looks killer and I already had a blue diver, so win win 😊

The same love for my seamaster Diver 300m black dial from France 🇫🇷 😉
So sporty and elegant 🥰🥰
I love it too, dear Harrisson
Keep on to delight us 🙏👍🏻
😘😘
Love your views, Chisholm, and the way you've articulated them in this video. I relate completely.
“Rolex?”
“Omega.”
“Beautiful.”
The chrome dial is amazing!
Both very beautiful watches.
Got the white dial Seamaster myself. The one flaw is the bracelet. So i wear it on rubber. Ow and i've got the 2254.50 and 2531.80 as well
I've owned a Rolex Submariner since 2017, but was coaxed into buying an Omega SMP. YMMV.
I enjoy my Seamaster 300M NTTD.
Great video, keep up the good work 👍
Harrison- I need the low down on activities anyone could do while wearing the omega seamaster. are there any risks wearing this watch while: dirt biking, golfing, chainsawing, jogging, water skiing, snow skiing....basically activities were you are bouncing around, jarring the watch, etc... thanks for your help in this.
Never heard you mention your Omega Seamaster before, Harrison 😂😂
Hah
Im a owner of a Seamaster 300 from 2016 blue no wave dial , and it will be mine until the day i die and then my daughter ! Its my grial watch amd my love in the watch world !
I can feel the love. For omega
I have the Casino Royal version of the SMP300, and I'm looking into getting the new one in black but I've heard some rumours about the bezel being flimsy or loose after a while, is that really the case?
I'm looking for a good skeleton watch for around £5K. What's out there. Must be 44mm and hands different colour to the skeleton.
This is true Bond-ing watch.
submariner or this watch...which do you prefer, I only ask as I'm still awaiting for the Sub over two years now.
Great video as usual. I love this watch. Do you see Omega redesigning the 300M Diver in 2024?
I am really confused between the sea master with blue dial and between the Tudor pelagos with the blue dial also , any advice ?
great video, whats you wrist size?
My most worn watch. I love it.
i have the sedna gold blk dial rubber strap. am saving for the 300seamaster chronometer all gold 33k$
There is not much to see with these 8800 co-axial movements hence the closed case back is perfectly fine.
100% true!
I love my Omega Seamster 300m watches! ❤
Loving the uploads, keep it up but I do prefer the adventure/outdoor style videos especially over the office space ones, get some more outdoor/hiking watch reviews up.
Appreciate that mate, I’ll try and get back to it asap!!
What is your wrist size? I am afraid this might be too big for my 16.5 cm wrists.
TUDOR FANBOY SPOTTED 😂😂😂😂
i haven't said anything about tudor @@SIZZO76
I dislike open caseback on divers. Should have a solid decorated caseback
I suppose that’s a personal preference thing, I really love open!
I'm with you 1000% perfect video
I much prefer my Omega Seamaster 300M NTTD to the Rolex Submariner.
Love mine as well. I have it on a green rubber strap from Zealande and its so comfortable, love it.
Can smallish wrists pull it off?
Have you been to India?
… and it’s a coaxial!
Such beautiful 😍 ❤ watches
I owned before the James Bond edition in black dial and sold it after 2years. It was a descent timepiece except for few drawbacks : the dwarf hour hand, the bezel action and grip, the retail price!
Is the 75th anniversary yours?
No! Not yet anyways haha, just doing a review soon
@@ChisholmHunterOfficial i see. Anyway, great review Harrison 👍🏽
i love my seamaster 300
Your safer with an Omega in South East Asia compared to most European cities.
I love the helium escape valve!!!
