    I was a green belt, and just returned to training affer 14 years when I found a club again. I'm pretty overweight and have a lot to work to do, but this is the perfect practice for me every day with my gym work. Thank you so much!

Muchas gracias

    I just want to say you guys are by far my favorite karate channel on RUclips for actual training, i run a karate club in Rockford, Il. i personally teach shorei ryu but your kihon is basically interchangeable being shotokan and tbh some nights i don't want to call everything move for move, not lazy.. but i like to just train sometimes myself too and i've been at it 5 days a week so its a fun change of pace as well ( i'm the only one of the group who had real experience in the beginning so also nice to show alternate perspectives imo) but many people have been progressing, the doors just opened about 7 months ago now ,anyway you guys get put up on a 150" projector screen and at least 1/2 a dozen others follow with and leave the floors and dogi covered in sweat, so thank you for all the hard work! so many channels are 5 mins of explaining and no training, you get down to business! Much respect and thanks for making my nights easier while you sub. you guys are youtube gold. ❤💯

      @@KarateTraining know what you do does serve a greater good , I’ve practiced from 4-42 now and every little thing to keep it fresh helps , to be honest your videos can be pretty killer with my weighted body suit just because I like to push the old body I’ll slap on an extra 11 lb on each leg , 6 on the forearms and slap 20 pound or so in the vest and these can be a solid challenge even for an advanced practitioner 💯 just figured I’d let you know you have some training partners that are working hard on the other part of the map. just a thought of mine I’ll share too , I’m sure you’ve seen people have say 500 uke, 1000 tsuki, 500 Geri challenge..tabata style/ HIIT …I think something like that would be cool to add to the arsenal you have built 🙏😁

      Thanks for the comment, and for training along with us! Good luck as you begin your training, and hopefully you find a club where you can train under an instructor. All it takes is time and repetition.
      Happy to have you watching us all the way from South Africa (I’m assuming that’s what SA is!).

      Thanks for watching, and the encouragement! The next kata video I do I can include some bunkai. But honestly, I think there are some great other channels that focus more on this. Look up Iain Abernathy and David Gimberline to see their work, which focuses on bunkai which follow the kata very closely.

    This video is helpful there are just moves It's too confusing for me, it's kinda fast and the volume is not that loud, I hope you can make another video that is not too fast and confusing. 😅😅 Still, I like all your video tutorials. 👍❤️

    Hey guys, I'm new to your channel but I've been watching your videos for the past couple weeks and closely watching and learning your techniques step by step and move by move. It's been very challenging and I love it! I have an athletic background, I played football and I was a varsity wrestler in school so I know a little about working on each technique but karate is very different than wrestling, lol. I don't have the option of training in a dojo due to funds and I'm in between jobs, but I'm very serious about studying and learning Karate. So I was wondering if these classes, by watching them, learning them and practicing along, would these classes help us viewers learn a "belt like equivalent " maybe? Or not exactly? Lol. Because your techniques look like they would be effective and useful in a real life situation for self defense. I'll tell you I've watched a few Sensei's on RUclips and in my opinion your classes/videos are some of the best I've seen. I've been studying and practicing karate for a few months now and I've learned a lot. I've done mainly Shotokan (if that's spelled correctly), so I was wondering what your style is? Any tips for learning Karate at home would be greatly appreciated. And how long would you recommend to watch and practice on one video? I'm guessing 3 days a week for one video maybe? I'm basically just trying to learn what I can from home until I can get to train in a dojo whenever that may be. If I can't earn a belt but can learn basically an equivalent to white or yellow belt or more, I'd be pretty excited! Im still working on the first couple of vidoes you've posted so I'm just commenting on what appears to be your most recent. Well I've asked a lot and i apologize for all the information ive asked for lol, I'm very serious about learning Karate and having it down. Thank you for your awesome lessons and you both are amazing! I hope to hear back from you soon, God bless!:)

    Teacher I want to start karate and when I started practice on home by the help of RUclips, I feel it very hard and I become tired after 25 minutes. Please teach me about the basic karate techniques and please tell me about the time of training for the beginning. And please guide me that in how much time I can become Black Belt. Thank you

    • @KarateTraining
      @KarateTraining  9 месяцев назад

      Hello there, thanks for your questions. The best advice I can give you is to try and find a nearby club that you can attend in person. It is difficult to learn karate from videos, as you need an instructor who can observe and make corrections until your movement is correct.
      As far as beginning training, it usually takes about 4 years to reach black belt, but that just means one has mastered the basic techniques. My instructors always said the real training begins at black belt.
      So, take your time as karate should be a lifelong endeavor.
