What workout should I do next? Let me know! 👍🥋😄
Jesse Sensei, we would love to see a flexibility and mobility workout. Thanks! Osu. From Philippines
Something about strength
Push ups, both knuckle and fingers. Conditioning exercises for hands and legs.
Warm up before an intense class.
I'd really like to see more of such videos as long as lots of dojos are closed because of Corona. Some exercises one can do at Home would be nice.
Jesse Enkamp, Karate Nerd, and hero of all Dojo’s closed during the pandemic. You are awesome!
slickx82 There’s much more coming! 😄
More of this type of videos please! This was awesome👊🥋
Absolutely! Train hard 💪
By the way, I think I have a challenge for you. Here in Spain, we are homebound right now, and in my case, I live with 3 more adults (non martial artists) in a flat, with minimum space to train and no heavybag :(. Could you please make a video with best solo exercises to keep the power of your kicks?
and not only kicks just about some excercise for low space in general for this non karate days and good luck in training
@@minigaterV4L "Kitchen Kata" - practice your kata as if your left foot is nailed to the ground and move around it, never letting that foot move. And then repeat with right foot fixed. Makes you think a lot more about the dynamics!
There is a very simple kata that you can do anywhere, you need very little space to do it. Its called ten no kata, you can look it up
Use your roommates as heavy bags :~)
Practica kata y series técnicas, la base, combinaciones... y sigue estirando. Lo puedes hacer todos los días en varias sesiones y variando la intensidad según estés más o menos cansado.
Hey Jesse can you do a specific workout for Kumite, if you can, you should do a separate workout for legs and an other for arms
this video was very useful for training! Thanks
I know it's an old video but I'm starting karate again in a month after a few years I was unable to train, and these videos are sooo helpful in getting myself back into shape and remembering my techniques and katas, thank you!
Happy to help!
This is one of my favourite videos on your channel. An honour to train with you Sensei! Karate Nerd rules🥋❤

Let’s train together! 😄
Our dojo closed yesterday due to new tighter restrictions from COVID-19, not sure when we’ll reopen so everyone is looking for ways to workout on their own.

Brilliant video. Useful, simple, well recorded.
Jesse, your disposition towards sharing is inspiring, surpassed only by your skill as an educator.
Saludos from Costa Rica.
I just did my first train of kata following this video and I love it. Thank you Sensei Jesse!
Jesse, thank you for this video! I just did my own kata. It’s hard to train by myself, but this video is short and you can do it whenever you have 10 minutes to spare and training together with you is very motivating. Osu!
This is great. I set my timer 2 to 3 times and have gotten 30 minutes of kata in today! Thank you so much, great for moral.
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing 👍
Just finished, really cool! I will implement some of it in my fiture in-dojo trainings as well!
Great to hear 😄
Awesome I'd love more of These because me and my dad need to train at home a lot thanks😀😀
EXCELLENT! Jesse Sensei, at the moment I'm teaching my wife Naihanchi Shodan and I know that this will help. Thanks!
Isn't it too hard for a beginner?
You're a "life saver" during quarantine times 😄

I'm karate nerd lover
From México thanks jesse

Great video for general health and fitness along with learning good technique. Thank you for this!
Thx Jessie you really tought me how to do karate and also put me back into it :) u the best
Yay! It's like being with you in the same gym/studio/dojo! ^_^
Amazing work, And awesome Kata!!! Jesse enkamp keeping the good work!!! Lets go more!!1
Great! For all times, and especially for corona pandemic limitations...
P.S.
We try to keep our dojo working: training in an open place, at least 3 meters between practitioners, working mainly on kihon and kata, but also "kumite" practice 6 to 7 meters away from your opponent, working mainly on timing and focus
I'm always looking for new ways to train my katas and even though this is very similar in the sense of sections the time aspect changes the game a bit and alternating between slow and fast. I'd love another kata training video
Hi Sensai I tried this practice technique and it was very effective and fun way to do so..... This practice session has become one of my new favorites and looking forward to many more videos
Very good! Makes me glad to hear 😄
these half circle steps... you gotta love'em.
I'm so grateful to you. ~ Blessings.
Really enjoyed! I do some similar things. But, this is well organized, with a beginning, middle and end. Thank you Jesse. Oss
I love your video's

Hi Jesse, this is a really good training's insight. I'm going to try it today at home as I'm actually in quarantine here in Italy like the entire country! Thank you and greetings.
Molto bene!
@@KARATEbyJesse i just finished the training and i can say this is a great way to practise. As i'm actually "imprisoned" at home i fund, because of you, a clever way to stay trainend for my next 4th dan exam! Grazie ancora Jesse!
Hey Jesse, this kata was beautiful! Which is your style? Your body positioning during the kata looks really nice for me, congratulations.

Great work sensei, thanks for your time
Can you please make videos about improving kata to wkf level? ✌
Hi Jesse, I'd love to see more workouts like that thanks!
Very good workout. Is like the one I do, only I add man to man bunkai.
Dear Jesse. Thanks for your awesome video. Please make more of these “follow long” trainings! I am now trying the Apple Fitness + videos. It would be a dream to have something like this with karate. Osu!
Oesh Sensei. Greatings from Denmark. Great video. I use it daily when I have the time, to work on My katas. Would be great to see some more videos on different katas. Am trying to make Kanku Dai (shotokan version) a part of my competition program. Would be great to see a video on that.
Thank you for a great channel. 🥋🙏
Thank you Jesse
Awesome video! Just what I need right now.

Thanks a lot, Jesse!! Very helpful in these days!
So smooth
Thank you for the video. Great job. Positive vibes all around. 👏👏🥋👍
Thanks a lot! 🙏
Great tips. We all need to stay healthy and keep working out at home if we want to stay strong against this virus.
Health is wealth! 🙏
@@KARATEbyJesse For sure!
Sensi Jesse....In this health crisis we all have, I have one question. In Chinese Kung Fu we learn " chi kung ", you most likely call it " Ki " or something similar. Would this type of energy exercise help build the immune system at the very least? I have studyed for over 41 years now and my Sifu taught us to do some amazing things. I was just wondering if this exercise would fight off anything that would do harm? (I feel bad for not keeping up on your video classes, the barometric pressure is giving me head aches and messing with my diabetic blood sugar level! I hope to be watching soon. You are a very good teacher! )
What software do you use to edit your videos? Top notch!
Hey there Jesse Enkamp! Love your videos man. As a fan of Karate from watching The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai I've always been interested in it. So I have a couple of questions maybe you can help answer. For example
• How many Kata's are there in karate altogether?
• Does Kata help with self defense?
Thanks again for viewing this message. Again I am new at Karate.
Waaahou many Tx for this video
