    Lissa, this is pure gold. I learned a lot. You have helped me. I’ve put on 18 lbs of muscle since I had a consultation with you. Need to put on 10-15 more but you showed me how. Beyond grateful!

    Hi, Lissa! Thanks so much for yet another great video! Totally LOVE your channel! Hope you don't mind, but I have a request. Please don't have any type of chimes or bells or music in the background while you are taping. I have a profound hearing loss in both ears and can only hear by using earbuds and even then I have to strain to hear words on any video on any channel. The chimes in the background are in competition with your lovely voice, and it makes it very difficult to hear. Thank you. Btw, took your recommendation from a previous video and am expecting my delivery from Ombre tomorrow. So excited to hear that I can upload the info from Ombre to another site to help me with my gut! You are so precious! I'm grateful I found your channel! ❤

      Ohhhh hmmm I didn’t have any chimes… maybe it was the song I chose for it but I put the volume down super low. I’ll keep that in mind for future videos ❤️❤️❤️ thank you 🥰

      @@RawFoodRomance Thank you! It may be that the only thing I can hear on the music is what I'm calling chimes...not hearing the rest.

    You brought up saurkraut Lissa, do you happen to know if it contains vitamin K2?
    I read that in an article

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  11 месяцев назад +1

      If it does, it’s very minimal. Best vegan and raw source of K2 is actually fermented Natto. Add that daily to dressings etc as a great K2 supplement!

      Inulin and all plant fiber variety. The bacteria make the butyrate. To build those bacteria, you need to eat fiber and variety so they grow to produce more ❤️

    Tried to buy your Hand Salad book on Amazon because I prefer actual books to e-books. I bought several of your e-books but never used them. I’ve also bought some of your books from Amazon which I do use. The e-versions don’t work for me because my iPad gets dirty while prepping food but a book I put on a stand and never have to touch while preparing meals. My devise screens go blank requiring multiple hand washing or getting the devise dirty. Can I purchase a print version of that book somewhere?

      Heya!! Sadly that ebook doesn’t exist in print yet. I’m really working hard to get it ready for print but it’s a big job and I have to reformat it for print, get a cover done and go through the proofing steps so I’m hoping by late fall? It’s taking longer than I’d have hoped… but it’s coming ❤️

    Since you dont look older in your latest videos than when you started , i wonder what is your age ? , though you dont have to answer that but what i more wonder is what you think about some raw yotuubers looking much older than thier age - what you think about that ? i am considering going raw vegan but wonder : dont you go to the toilet more with all that volume of food ?
    from short hover over your videos you dont eat much fruit is that correct ? i would assume you think most raw vegans on youtube consume too much fruits ?
    also wonder what your thoughts are on fermented foods ? i reached this channel through vadimm zeland that recommends a raw diet and he isnt in favor of fermented foods (except fermented cabbage without salt) i think so i wonder if you share that opinion ?

      Heya!! I’m gonna be 44 in December and I’ve been raw vegan for over 9 years now. 🩵🩵
      I don’t really have an opinion to share on how others look, not really my jam. But for me, yes I eat lots of fruit BUT I also eat A LOT of variety of greens, veggies and sprouts, a lot more than most raw foodies. I also don’t follow food combining, my gut is just fine so I eat loads of variety. I value veggies just as much as I value fruit. Fruit isn’t superior. They ALL have their place. I do include fermented foods. I think they are wonderful! My gut microbiome testing comes back in the 94.37% percentile so I’m doing very well. It’s the highest gut test results of anyone I’ve personally seen tested, including raw vegans who have been raw way longer than I have.
      My main focus is not on only fruit. I love fruit but I don’t think being heavy fruit is ideal. My focus is balance in greens and veggies too. Variety, WHOLE fiber and abundance. I don’t restrict my calories, I don’t do “detoxes and cleanses”, I don’t do juicing (I might have a juice a couple times a year but it’s super rare - I prefer the fiber in there) and I don’t follow many theories that I have seen many other raw vegans follow out there like the no water thing, intermittent fasting or mono mealing often. This makes me unpopular in certain circles, which is fine, we all have our opinions. As for going to the bathroom, I don’t feel it’s an inconvenience, it’s normal to me. Bowel movements average 2-3x a day. My digestion and health are next level for me now I love how I eat and I love building my gut! ❤️❤️

    The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, got buried and rose again the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB). We all have sinned (Romans 3:23 KJB). Believe it and you will go to heaven not hell. Doing good works CAN'T get you to heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJB). Jesus loves you
