😮That’s insane bro $40 for a box of 20?! I paid $24.99 for a box of 50 180grain 40sw and $29.99 for a 50 round box of 147grain 9mm HST at outdoor limited.
They’re worth every penny too. Right up there with Speer gold dots. Best thing about these is you can find them. I carry the 124 +p, one of the best at shooting through heavy clothing and still expanding.
Fort Scott’s TUI rounds are cheaper, penetrate better, and has a longer and just as severe wound cavity than the hst. It can penetrate through level III Armour if shot from a full sized duty handgun. HST’s are nice, but they’re way overpriced. I don’t see much more of a benefit from them than gold dot or V-Crowns.
if you buy HST there’s no point in buying it in 20 rd boxes, just order the 50 rounders. depending on the caliber it can be between 30-40 for a box of 50, which for premium self defense ammo with a long proven track record is a damn good price
147 gr is best for home defense because it won’t break the sound barrier like the 124 or 115 would. You’ll hear a pop indoors but not the boom like you would with the lower grains because they fly faster than the speed of sound.
At the firearm retailer that I go to in Maryland you can get 50 rounds of HST for 40 bucks flat out there should be no reason why you're paying $40 for a box of 20
where do u find the HST 50 counts? They're usually sold in 20's nowadays lol. I remember only seeing 50 count with Walmart but they stopped all that mess back in 2020 and it makes me mad. Lol

Y’all are getting beat over the head with these prices. This the second video in a row talking about “$35 or $40 for a box of 20 rounds”. I Literally just had some come in the mail Thursday(October 12) and they was definitely nowhere near that price, I got 50 rounds of 124gr+p HST and a 50 box of Speer GoldDot 124gr+p that was only $33 for each box of 50 rounds!! Whoever y’all doing business with is some real life greedy mf’s. I literally got more than double the rounds for $7 less each box. And when the prices were higher here like 6 months ago it was still only $28 for a box of 20
The most top notch stuff right there... 147 grain or 124 grain
I’d take 115gr over both 124 and 147 if they’re JHP. You want velocity not gr size. Velocity is what mushrooms that round.
