- When Porsche put their hand to something it tends to be very special, and so one of the worlds most exciting brands have put their hand to electric cars.
And this is the result, the Porsche Taycan -Porsche's first full-electric sports car. This Turbo S has 750hp and over 1000Nm of torque, the Taycan is surely the ultimate in electric mobility. The real question is though can a Porsche without an engine still feel like a Porsche?

This video review is spot on! The acceleration is extremely exhilarating and one must experience it before any judgements can be made about this car. Porsche has once again executed a beautifully mordern design while retaining the essence of what driving a Porsche is all about. As much as I love my 991 911s, I really love this car for it's everyday practicality i.e. 4 doors and a real rear trunk. Driving this car everyday will make nearly everyone's day that much better! As far as the price goes, this car is still less than what an affair would probably cost most us, so in that respect it's a good decision to purchase this car!
Great futuristic car, just need the Uk infrastructure for charging to catch up (it will be decades sadly as nothing happens quickly in blighty, the country with the worlds worst roads, Poorly maintained, potholed and uneven and weird cambered roads too, due to mainly old horse-drawn cart routes)
Just hope the infrastructure follows now to make these things work in the real world.
Your money - would you have one or something else of the same value i wonder???

Been installing charging stations for people with electric cars now and then. 3 days ago Iinstalled one for a guy with a Taycan Turbo S. It is the first electric car I gone wow, I want one. The attention to detail and the quality is out of this world (especially compared to the toy cars from Tesla that looks to be made in a sheed)
Very nice!!! Sorry, your emotions got the best of you, but I have to say that also happened to me which is why I'm giving up my 991 for it. Hope you get to review a 4S which is all I could afford.

Is it true that the Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S are essentially equally fast, if it wasn‘t for Launch Control?
