Very good review, what would be even more awesome would be some Porsche Lifestyle videos featuring the cars.. Living with it day to day in a Vlog style with the car as the main focus..

I got my 4S Cross Turismo on the 16th October. A few software probs since, all of which has been sorted in short order. The range in close-to-negative temperatures drops to 210 miles in rain (wipers) and the heater on, but I can live with that. I wouldn't change it for any other car, at least for the next 3 years when I would replace it with........the 2024/2025 model.
great review, I'm testing one next week, I'm interested in the performance difference between the 4 & 4S, have you driven both? I feel the 4 will be enough & use saving for options?
We have indeed driven both and as you would expect, they are both fantastic. There are arguments for both models but what I can say is… the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has more than enough power for most customers and, as you mention, the lower list price leaves more room for some of the optional extras. Before making your decision let us know and we can arrange a test drive in both power derivatives.
Excellent report - waiting 6.5 months for min ‘though ! Have just installed 3 phase 400 V 32 A charger at home ……. can the car take this OK ….. or will it derate to 11KW ?? HELP please.
It would depend on the spec of the car to be honest. If you have the 22kw on board charger then you should be able to charge at the maximum rate IF the outlet supports it.
@@thedrivebygg We drove a 4S saloon whilst following a Turbo on the test drive. The perfomance differential certainly wasn't worth the premium. I'm also coming out of a 2017 S6 Avant with 450hp and the 4S just felt faster than that.
@@PorscheCentreChester It was! I took delivery on the 16th October. Linked to my smartphone! Probably the greatest "leap forward" in motoring I have experienced in 65 years of owning and driving vehicles. I would recommend the Taycan Cross Turismo, not necessarily as a performance car but as an incredibly safe vehicle to drive as there are so many safety features built into it that ignoring them can only be regarded as willfully irresponsible.
Jack does not work for Porsche, he works for all of our Rybrook sites which includes brands such as Bentley, BMW, Mini, Lamborghini, Land Rover and more. He has experience in driving many of the vehicles across the sites, and this happened to be his first experience of driving a Porsche. His views were not subjective :)
@@PorscheCentreChester you're exactly right, his views are absolutely "not subjective" as you say above. This is very much an objective review, without a single negative comment. Yes it's a great car, but a balanced review still needs 1 or 2 negatives.
Chrome trim around the windows is nice, counteracts the "van-look" with black exterior and privacy glass and makes it look classy. I could do without the lower chrome parts, you can order those blacked out.

MIne should be here in January, I went for the 4S in Oak Green Metallic over chalk beige. Really looking forward to it arriving now.
It will look beautiful in Oak Green Metallic!
The 4S is plenty fast enough, and I think you will be really impressed with the ride quality

My 4S was due next week, but due to the chip shortage It won't be with Porsche Edinburgh until mid-October.
The delays are a real shame, but it will be worth the wait.

Good review but I want to state that this review is done by Porsche themselves. So confirmation bias to the max.

Too much chrome trim. Wheels are sweet.

Black trim is an option 👍
