Stacking xp was indeed a design choice on pc that got removed in A21. It was very OP if you had enough stone, wood and ore stored ready. With learning elixir and nerdy glasses you could stack, open and restack to instantly get one or maybe two skillpoints. Now you've dug down to bedrock move your bedroll down there. If your horde base fails and you die you can respawn well away from danger. A huge cheese with bedrock tunnelling is to always lay a 1 block deep floor. Zombies can't spawn on player placed blocks so this removes the danger of unexpected intruders. And with miner 69er maxed you can even opt out of fighting on horde night, if you dig in a straight line you move faster than the zombies can dig so they will never reach you (but check for and fill any holes they dug the next day, falling down a 20 block deep hole with a full vehicle inventory really spoils your day). As you get higher grade tools you'll move faster and their holes will get Smaller. If you do use this dig to dodge the horde trick you should probably recognise that you're a mole. This can get addictive, I've built miles of underground roads over the years with 30 degree ramps to drive vehicles to the surface (add a 2 block deep 'jump' at the top to keep intruders out). It's ultra grindy, but you can get huge amounts of xp using all that stone to upgrade blocks, and traders will buy three 6000 stacks of stone at 1200 dukes each and that adds up over time. If your in multiplayer PvP do not build roads, its a big "I'm here!" sign post, and assassin players love ambushing moles and booby trapping their tunnels! (understandably, I can see the appeal!)
Yeah it was a strange design choice, I can see why they removed it. I used to be more of a mole player back in kind of A15 times, and would sometimes skip out horde night in favour of mining huge tunnels. Nowadays I tend to just mine overnight.
I do not have a coffee problem, I can quit anytime I want... I wish I could cut back to one cup a day, I have no will power. I thought I was dead for sure when I ran into my first dog on console. I was surprised when I survived. The burn biome seems to offer better stuff for sure. Great episode. Thank you.
I always strive to get to the Yucca Juice Smoothie level. Once I have that, ALL the water gets used to make glue. Bacon and eggs SURE does fill the food meter easily enough. Good progress!
@@The-Two-Five well I must have done something so wrong on my first day 7 horde there were loads including dire wolfs they ripped through my cobble stone walls and iron bars and I was only on adventure level 😂
@@paulhunt4494 Did you build your base in the Forest Biome? Are you on normal 100% XP multiplier? Or are you playing multiplayer? Any and all of these things can massively impact your game stage and make horde nights a lot harder.
@@The-Two-Five I think I was on higher xp and yes in forest but just on my own I think I also had zombies x8 at a time lol but didn’t expect dire wolf on first horde lol
@@paulhunt4494 So the XP being higher has boosted your game stage. Having higher XP actually makes the game a lot tougher because its hard to keep up with the type of enemies the game throws at you. If you do a run on default XP you should fare a lot better, good luck!

I think there is a button to push in the room you exit from to go to the barn maybe it was too dark to notice

Yucca Smoothies are so good! I remember I did a snow biome Fortitude play through and lived off them once I had the seeds for all the bits
I’m waiting to see his horde base as I’ve made two now and both cobble stone and iron bars and on day 7 getting recked lol I survive but only just
