- Welcome to my tutorial gameplay series for 7 Days To Die Console Version 1.0, the new console version is out and I will be on PS5 and I am using the controller - the game also game out on Xbox. It's day 3, episode 3 and I will show how to survive the first day using these hints, tips and tricks I've picked up in my experience playing the game. In this episode get the forge and the cooking pot, and also carry on questing. We also find some deer! Featuring actual console gameplay with an actual controller!

Haha! For me I wait days to gather the things to craft a q2 or 3 something and then loot a 4 or 5 immediately!

Thank you for talking about the drawbacks to Healing Factor! I see Soooo many "Tips & Tricks" vids recommending putting points into it early, and none of the creators ever mention how hungry it makes you (if they even realize it)...esp for a noob thats gonna get hit a lot. Makes a hard situation way worse.
I have to disagree with one point you made though, You mentioned that the T2 Fetch quest you were going to do was only going to be worth one point because its easier. I don't think its like that. I think all T1 quests are worth 1 progression point, all T2 quests are worth 2 progression points, etc. I think the difference is just in the reward, you will get less dukes, and an even CRAPPIER reward, for a Fetch vs. a Clear, vs a Fetch/Clear
I think you're right about the reward points, I think I was thinking of the amount of dukes you get from a fetch vs a clear!
making a little spot next to the trader has helped my friend and i so much 😂😂😂 and melee is SO HARD !! we have me with the club and my friend with the bow and arrows, it def does gets super crazy when they run lol but we are saving our ammo and guns for horde night!
Good strategy to save your ammo for horde night!
I don’t get any animals with my Xbox either. Just a few random chickens. I think if I go out at night I will definitely not make it back
Think I got to day 14 before I saw my first deer, right at end of blood moon one appeared, see lots of chickens and rabbits
Maybe when you get your first vehicle you can go out night hunting, that way you have a quick getaway if you need it
solid progress, I'd find the controller very hard to use. Having said that, I'm pretty back
d on PC games, too.
It is a challenge, a lot less freedom of movement compared to mouse and keyboard but it just feels right to use it on console. If I was using mouse and keyboard on PS5 I feel like I might as well just play the PC version
There is a nasty bug on xbox with naming crates, the whole contents disappear from inside, had 3 crates named and 3 un named, lost everything from named crates, so take the names off those crates asap
I'm on PS5 so all good. I believe they released a fix for that on X-Box on Monday too so hopefully that's resolved.
Didn't even notice a patch applied 😂 but too scared to name them again after losing 19 days worth of food and meds, it was like first few days struggle bus lol
It seems like the regular amount of the new higher level of "how did they hit me" of 1.0 .. do you think the rewards for the various missions on that to do list would give better rewards in other Biomes other then forest I think they are usually mods or books as I was turning one into rekt yesterday It dawned on me I should have driven a bit to turn it in BUT i guess there wouldn't be any way to measure it if there was a difference like when you take an eye candy or the things that say they boost loot
Yeah its an interesting thought, game stage changes their inventory so maybe it does have some sort of impact on rewards
