Gary Moore was a different breed of cat. He was a great guitarist, singer and composer but the thing that made him top level aside from the aforementioned traits is the fact that he put every fiber of his being into every note he played or sang. One of the best ever. I would love to see you react to the live video of "Parisienne Walkways" at Montreaux, 2010. It has to be this particular performance. It was recorded in the year before his death and he left it all on the stage.

Gary Moore was a phenomenal guitarist. He's like Ireland's version of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and has even covered some of SRV's songs. He played for a while with Thin Lizzy, but I don't think he was an original member. He's best known for his incredible blues.

Totally love you for doing this one. Alas, gary died a few years ago. Check out Empty rooms and parrisiene walkways. He also played with both albert Collins and albert king, which was Wow. His earlier material had a bit of irish political rock to it especially when with Phil Lynott. Worth a listen. Gary, live, was an outstanding experience R. I. P. ALL OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED. PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU. THANKS FOR THIS ONE.

So happy you did this one. I love Gary Moore. Lots of good songs. Parisienne Walkways is particularly fine, especially the live version.

This guy could fucking holler. You can really hear the pain in his voice. It's perfect for blues. And he could handle a guitar like a champ. Like, seriously, he might be one of the greatest guitarists there ever was!

Congrats discovering Gary Moore. Gary is in my opinion the most intense, raw emotion, guitarist ever. And so versatile. He could play anything. Did jazz & fusion with Collosseum II and rock with Thin Lizzy in the 70s, hard rock in the 80s, blues in the 90s/2000 and was about to release a rock album again when he passed in 2011. Seen him many times live. Always delivered. He is a guitarists guitarist. Everybody from the guys in Metallica to Def Leppard and beyond has got Gary Moore on the top of their list. Best guitarist ever.

Ahhh , the late , great Gary Moore !! An exceptional talent on guitar , and a very underrated songwriter. Part time Thin Lizzy collaborator , but his own band featured some incredible players and music. Had the real pleasure of seeing Gary play the old Marquee Club with his band , and the late , great Randy Rhoads was next to us. A real guitar players player. Great reaction Jay 👌👌 Parisienne Walkways with Phil Lynott is very similar. You would love that. Or Empty Rooms.
