YW♥️
I didn't realize making these would be super simple. They look delicious!❤ Thanks for sharing!😊
You’re Welcome & Thank You♥️
You did it with such grace and delicacy... I love it! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you♥️
I make these too, and those are beautiful. However, just a suggestion. When you do the drizzle pink, white or any color over the apples, try to use different parchment paper for each color. That's a lot of wasted chocolate. You can put them in a zip loc bag, melt and reuse it. I do it all the time.
Yea I try not to waste any chocolate. In the beginning I did use to waste not knowing or should I say, not thinking, but the more you do it you learn. Thank you! I actually saved it though and reused it. I still today blend certain colors to make different shades and colors. But any suggestions or advice you have is definitely welcomed.
I will now incorporate this tip in my work. I am constantly using chocolate for drizzles in my business! This will help me save so much chocolate! Thanks 🙏🏾
Great Idea. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for sharing, I never thought to do that.
Glad I seen your comment thanks ❤❤❤

Looks really good!
I’m really glad I came across ur channel!! U gave me extra confidence to do this! Thank u!!
Thank You♥️Girl go for it!!
Char’s Crafts me too
I love this!
Thank You!
I use coconut oil with them instead. I find that they dip easier and it makes them shinier. With the crisco added, once they sit, they start having a chalky, chewy, thick like texture. The coconut oil makes for a better taste and better texture.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll try that
thank you they look so beautiful
Thank You
Wow. I didn’t even realize these were so easy to make! 💕 thanks for sharing. Trying these for my mother & grandmother for Mother’s Day then I might start my own business

Good job Reka
Thank You!
really liked this video
Thank You♥️
Awesome... I learned a lot. Thank you!!!
YW♥️
So you don’t have to boil the apples for this technique?
girlllllll wilton better be giving you some product!
Speak it into existence!!! I sure am!
I loved it
Thank You!
I have about 16 apples how many bags of melts do you suggest?
How much shortening do you add?
I’m making chocolate covered apples for a birthday party soon & wasn’t sure if Wilton candy melts are the best way to go cause I’ve seen so many different reviews on them. Do you feel as thou the candy melts are East to work with?
Lighter Melts are usually more difficult therefore you will add more oil to get the melts to the consistency you want. Chocomaker brand does really well and they now have red and blue along with the white and chocolate or you can buy white and add candy color to it. I use both Wilton’s and Chocomaker melts. The more you use them the better you will get at getting them to the consistency you need.
New subbie!! This looks so good.
Thank You♥️
You welcome very creative and Beautiful thank you I learned something watching your video
Thank you! That is my goal, to show people how to make simple treats look good on their own.

Question when dip apple do left while dry or in refrigerator??? Second plastic border with bow....u said left in freezer while then make filling bow , put in refrigerator?..
You can place bow mold in the fridge or freezer just so it sets quicker.
How do you prevent chocolate from cracks on the apples
Where did you get those silicone cups for the candy melts?
It came in a candy warmer from Walmart
How much oil do i add per bag??
Do you clean your apples first? Can you use almond bark and add chocolate?
Yes, and you can use whatever chocolate you prefer
Enjoy your video. Do you make your treats to sell or just for family parties? I know your Mom would be very proud.
Thank you😥♥️and I do both
How much do these usually cost?
Many things go into consideration with pricing such as size of the apple, design, quality of chocolate and work, as well as pricing in your area. Cost can be $7-12, more or less.
If I do these a day before do I have to store them in the refrigerator until Its times to take them out ? And they will not melt if I have them out in display for the party ??
I always do mine the night before and leave them out as long as the area is dry and cool, they’re fine.
Looks good 🤪
Thanks Suga!! And keep grinding on your page.
Why mines didn’t come out smooth like that
Hi, love the video! You did a beautiful job!
I would like to make these for a baby shower. How do you normally store the apples and strawberries once they are made?
Thank you♥️I usually do my treats the night before and keep them out. As long as they are stored in a dry cool place. If I have time I usually do strawberries the morn of the event but they will still be ok the night before as well.
Do you keep on melting or warming up the candy after every apple?
No, the candy in your bowl won’t start solidifying that fast.
Did you have to strip the wax off the apples or what did you use to clean them?
All I do before dipping my apples is wash them or place them in a bowl of hot water from the tap. I don’t do the boiling method for these. Boiling method helps the most when doing candied apples, in my opinion.
Did u prepare the apples like for candy ones or just wash and dry??
I wash mine then sit in a bowl of really hot water, not boiled, while turning them and dry them.
Can the melts be placed over a double broiler to melt them faster? And instead of using shortening can I use coconut oil?
Yes it’s ok to melt them that way. I’ve never used coconut oil but I’ve heard of people having a bad experience with it but it’s all abt trial and error and figuring out what works best for you. You can also use vegetable oil
@@QueensUniqueDesigns ok thanks for getting back to me :) love your videos.
Where did you get the bow pan from??
Amazon
Where did u get the apple containers from
Amazon
Did you refrigerate at all?
No, not to set the candy on the apples. The candy melts usually set pretty well at room temperature. I like to make treats the night before or the day of events therefore I package them and leave them out. They are fine as long as they are in a cool, dry place.
Beautiful...!!!! And looks so easy...thanks!!!
It is! Thank You♥️
Do you leave the apples out in order for the chocolate to dry/settle in? 😊💕
Yes
Also if your house is very cold the chocolate will dry fast
How do you prevent the elephant skin look? Mines never turn out smooth looking
Mine either. And every video I see someone is asking this question and Nobody ever answers it🤦
That was the biggest struggle in the beginning for me and occasionally it can still happen. Make sure your chocolate is not too hot before dipping. Also depending on how thick your chocolate is, you may not need to shake off as much excess if it looks as though it’s about to happen. That honestly almost made me stop doing apples in the beginning but it takes work and more and more practice. But if it begins to look that way, sanding sugar and decorations are your best friend. Also the type of chocolate makes a difference.
Where did you get the clear thing to store the apple?
Amazon
How many days before an event can I make this before it gets spoiled. Also do I keep it in the fridge? I want to make it for my daughter birthday.
I make most of my treats the night before. I wrap and leave it out for presentation purposes. If you place in the fridge, make sure to place them in an airtight container.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns thank you 😊
You’re welcome!
Can you refrigerate these without them melting? Like can I make them the day before a party and put them in the fridge & still display then next without them melting? Beautiful work!!
Thank You♥️i keep mine out in a cool dry place if I’m doing them for a party, except the stuffed ones but either way they will be fine. Just make sure to store them in an airtight container.
Awesome video! May I ask what type of bowl you are using for meeting the candy? I’ve tried everything and still burn them!
My bowl came with my candy warmer. It doesn’t have the handles anymore. Try heating it in 10 second intervals stirring everytime regardless if its melted or not. Once most of it has melted, you should be able to stir it really well until the rest melts. Add oil or shortening if needed to get the consistency you need.
Turn the power down on your microwave that will help!!!
I love your videos ❤️🙏 god bless you
Thank You!
hi this is beautiful how long do they last after you add the chocolate do you put them in the frigde
They can be left out if the area is cool. If placed in the fridge, put them in an airtight container.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns thank you ❤️
You’re welcome
that beautiful an i need that for my wedding asap
Ive made these before. The crisco makes them a chewy thick like texture. Use coconut oil instead. They come out fabulous and it makes them shiny. And if yu like chocolate covered strawberries then make some modeling chocolate. Dip a stick in the chocolate, then into the strawberry big side down. Then cookie cut circles in the chocolate and cover them around the strawberries and form a rose.
They'll make a perfect beautiful addition to yur wedding. And yes yu can use other fruits as well as long as yu pat them dry
@@GirlTwin-jy7hv i love chocolate strawberries an i love flower an are from cincinnati
So you don't have to boil the wax off to dip them in chocolate?
No! I don’t.
I have many more Apple videos as well you can watch. Check them out.
Is there a reason when ppl make candied apples or dipped apples that they usually use the green apple, or can you use anyone
You can use whichever apples you prefer. I like the tangy sweet flavor together. I never use the darker red because both, the apple and chocolate are so sweet. But it’s your preference and there are other apples to use.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns thank youuuu💯😭♥️
What is the name of the clear bow tray you used ?
Bow molds
Really pretty
Thank you!
Can I ask where you got your packaging please?
Amazon
Where did you get the plastic apple containers?
Amazon
How was you able to get the white candy melted all the way? Mine would never melt all the way
Trust me the white is a task. I always add shortening or vegetable oil in it from the very beginning and it usually takes more, in my opinion, than the others. Some of them you get you will even notice little small pieces that don’t like to melt. You really need to stir very well and use enough thinning product to get it to a good consistency.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns Thank you so much because I have been doing them the past few days and my friends at school are actually buying them, just it is something about that white lol
Lol! White is difficult. Just keep playing with ways to get it like you need it.
Hi! I tried making these apples. When I dipped them, the cany melts seized. I am wondering is there some steps here that was not shown or mentioned? Was I suppose to leave the apples out overnight &/or was I suppose to wash then in boiling water?
Btw, my apples were bone dry & the candy melts only seized on the apples as I pulled them out of the candy melts. I still used them, I just made it work...lbvs. They still turned out pretty after I was done fixing them up...lol.
Make sure candy melts cool down but not to the point of solidifying. I don’t usually have my candy melts as thin as I may with other treats either. It takes practice to know what dipping techniques work best especially with apples. I struggle still sometimes with them.
@Robert&Sheree Jones Right! Sometimes they will have you like, “what did I do wrong” but like you said, the right decor can sometimes cover the flaws.
I love this can't wait to try i think ill use coconut oil instead of shortening
You can use coconut oil, vegetable oil, shortening, or they have pellets too that are like shortening chips you can mix in.
Why coconut oil???? We samoans never use the oil to cook with. It really dont help any. I dont get why its a huge fad now. Massage. For body and hair thats it.not for eating
Owna Maye coconut oil helps thin out the melted chocolate
Ive tried the coconut oil and the chocolate wouldnt harden!! Maybe i put too much.. Idk
@@emilyenriquez7553 yes it's happened to me plenty of times lol I may try shortening because the chocolate didnt change too much in consistency
Beautiful !!! WOW!! they turned out really pretty, I love this video :) congratulations!! Now please, can you tell us where you oreder your supplies, the chocolate, and those plastic containers for the apples and sticks, oh and the plastic bows :) Thank you so much. I want to make these apples :)
Thank you♥️I order most of my stuff off of Amazon like the plastic containers for the apples and the bow molds. And I purchase most of my other supplies such as candy and plastic bags and sticks from Walmart and sometimes Michael’s.
Hi beautiful apples what are the plastic containers called on amazon pleaseeeeeee
Small apple bubble container
Do you add the shortening after you melt the chocolate and then stir it in?
Either way is fine. Sometimes I add a little shortening or oil before and if I need more after I add a little more until I get the consistency I want.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns mine always burn when I do it, thank you so much. And beautiful apples and strawberries.
Try 10-15 second increments in the microwave and stir well everytime even if it hasn’t melted. If you notice it’s not a liquid add more oil or shortening and stir well.
@@QueensUniqueDesigns thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
You’re welcome!♥️
How long do you cook the candy after you put the oil in.
There is no time limit on it. You can put oil in before putting in the microwave, during the melting process or after. Either way, put candy in the microwave in 10-15 sec increments. Add oil to get candy to the consistency you want.
Thanks going to make some for my daughter baby shower this weekend
I tried this yesterday but my chocolate applied over the apples a bit clumpy. How do you know when the chocolate has fully melted properly? Do you know exactly how many times it has to be heated up for 15 seconds? I was really hoping to get beautiful apples like yours😭
You don’t have to keep heating if you see bits still in there. I microwave in 15 sec intervals until it is the consistency I want. Stirring between each interval even if it doesn’t look like it’s melting. Sometimes you can stir until it’s all melted and if it’s too thick, add oil to thin it out but chocolate has to cool before applying to the apple but not enough to set. If it begin setting put it back in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and stir well. It’s a process and takes trial and error because apples can be tricky sometimes, even for me at times. Keep trying, you’ll get there. Try dipping and let excess drip off without shaking, then scrape the bottom and see if that helps. Sometimes I try different methods depending on the chocolate I use too!
They look gorgeous !! I’m giving my daughter a baby shower and to buy the apples are just too expensive . I need 125 are they expensive to make ? An where did you find the plastic containers for the apples ? Thank you
Thank You♥️There a lot cheaper to make yourself than to buy that many from someone. I got the plastic containers from Amazon.
