Recipe: - 4 cups of sugar - 1 cup of water - 2 cups light corn syrup - food colouring - sticks - apples I wrote it down so it's easier to cook along! Thank you for your very helpfull tutorial!! I've never made these, and I'm going to try to make them tomorrow!
Thank you for the video, you've done an excellent job on showing the step by step process. And I truly appreciate the information on how to clean the pot, I have seen many videos and no one shared that and to me that is the most crucial part of the process. Thank you
Found this just in time for fall! THANK YOU! I’ve attempted candy apples in the past but never ever thought to clean them that thorough. It sure makes a difference! I’m guna try this recipe soon!
Sis... l LOVE your English....reminds me of where I grew up. Like...Like once you set that Candy Apple down....you uh knock a head or two...(so don't chall get it twiiiisted) ....dig....dug. LOL....you ain't gotta co-sign to that....I'm just sayin'...;o) Anyways.... I love your work...it takes a lot of patience and skill to work sugar into what chu' do. And it's dangerous work. You gotta know how to handle that. If I was where you are...I pay for some classes. I'm a hard core baker (which I do sell) but not into sugar crafting like that. Good to see a Sista' working in that art for a change. "Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength..." Ecclesiates 9:10 May the Most High Bless you continually.

hello how can i prevent air bubbles on the candy apples ??
Keandra Felder you have to properly clean them and let them set for at least 48 hours so all the sap can release from the apples
Keandra Feld
Another video says use Granny Smith apples. Others will bubble.

How much would you typically charge for 1/2 dozen of candy apples?
Daisha O'Banner that's a great question!
This is the great post and the easy I have seen... thank you so much! You have my subscribe! Do you ever double dip ? And what brand do you use for coloring ?
Could I use Loranne cinnamon oil? If so how many drams? I'm guessing 2 but I don't want to do a 3 day apple project that no one can stand to eat.
Emma Crawford Just a few drops (3 or 4) unless you REALLY like cinnamon.
