Just stayed at an AirBNB called the Generals Quarters in Franklin for the Money and Marriage Getaway and it was the absolute perfect and best one we have ever stayed in!
I have watched both the office and friends to the end and I will tell you that office is better every single time. And you know it's true, because if you watch friends without the laugh track it's not funny anymore, but if you watch office which doesn't have a laugh track, the moments are actually funny.
Cracking up over Rachel’s justification to buy the NSYNC album when it came out because they thanked God. I remember trying to convince my mother to buy me the new U2 cassette tape because they had it for sale in the Christian bookstore, and I tried to use the same logic. She wasn’t buying it. 😂
Rachel, you always talk about contentment. And it makes me think of my favorite Bible verse-Phillipians 4:11. Now that I speak in the respect of want, for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Thank you so much for recommending Tapple. My son was struggling with concentration at school and this has been a huge help. Plus we are all able to play as a family and my son loves it so much.
Haha Rachel I remember reading their biographies too and saw they all thanked God and made my heart happy, knowing they were believers or hoped so hehe😊 ~~~>ALSO COOL STORY! My awesome youth pastor from Maryland was it? But he went to high school with JC and was his friend, and we were at our youth place here in Iowa, called Franks house of Rock where Christian bands came and anyway, one evening my friends and I were telling him about that we love *NSYNC and guess what he did?!!! Called JC!! He literally answered (they were on tour in the tour bus) and I and my friends got to say hi!! Was so awesome! And a friend and I got to go to their concert 🎶!!! My wall was full of *NSYNC posters haha.
The *NSYNC part about opening the CD brought me back so much! I vividly remember in elementary school having a CD player that was see through purple & I listened to *NSYNC no strings attached CD when school would get out & felt so cool. I love the nostalgia. Thanks guys for beginning me back hah!
J'adore The Office. I watched FRIENDS as an adult... I wish I liked it more. I do like that purple door. Rachel, my friends and I pray for the celebrities we like too. I want to see them in heaven.❤
The cheap thing I do is any time I have a coupon and for some reason it doesn't work, I will hold up the line while they get a manager to price override. Even if it's a dollar in savings 😂 drives my husband crazy, but dang, I clipped the coupon for a reason and I'm getting my money off! 😅😮
A good stroller is worth it’s weight in gold!! Lol We just got a Thule Chariot. I can hook it up to my bike, jog, and walk with it! You can also put skis on it in the winter!!! 10/10 recommend! 😆 $1300
25:56 I’ll give when I have more money… I’ll stop borrowing money when I have more money… I’ll invest when I have more money… the argument is always having more/making more money but if you make $20,000 a year and don’t give or overspend, then these habits will continue even if you make $20 billion per year.
That’s how I felt about Queen tickets. We bought front row and VIP. VIP probably wasn’t worth it but front row sure as hell was. Had a blast. Wife and I have a special connection through queen so it made sense. Otherwise we would buy nosebleed seats for anyone else
Home ownership definitely feels more like a pipe dream. A few years ago, it looked like I was *almost* ready to look seriously at buying. Now, it looks totally unachievable. So long as cost of living continues to outpace salary, I can't get ahead. Oh sure, I can (and do) save money, but short of getting a magical 100% raise, I can't possibly save *enough* to make the difference. It's incredibly frustrating.
George, you were supposed to be comparing “The Office” and “Friends”. You sound like you were talking about “Dawson’s Creek”….”we were all in a place, we were young”. 😂😂😂
There are few famous people that I want to meet in person and shake their hands.. Definitely in my bucket list.. They are Ps. Robert Morris of Gateway, Dave Ramsey and these two! Rachel and George.. Learned alot from these people, applied their principles and it changed my life.. More power to y’all and God bless!
“We splurged and it was not on our dime” had me weak💀 we get to go on conference trips every year for work and we get to take the company car and credit card and we get to also splurge! It’s the best thing ever😂😂
I didn’t tip my hairdresser because it wasn’t in the budget. In my defense the price increase was significant….I will probably pull it out next month 😂 and send it to her. 😅
It’s my new favorite kids book! The best part is the thick pages !! It’s a pet peeve of mine when the pages get torn.❤ Congratulations on the new book Rachel!
Congratulations on the book Rachel!! I adore you both and look forward to Thursdays when your show drops on YT!!!❤ Sharing my cheap habits: I look for discarded receipts from any retailer and scan them into Fetch…it’s kind of a game now when I shop with the grandkids😂😂😂
YAAAASSSSSS! We share the same cheap habits! Hahaha! It is always a bonus when the stranger who dropped their receipts buy something that has a special points bonus to it!
For the housing market. Could you please do what you could can afford on what salary with current rates? Like how much you have to make to afford 200k or the average house of 400k+?
I order soda water with a lime. It's free, instead of iced tea for $3. At home, I make soda water with a lime or grapefruit and I love it. I enjoy my Soda Stream every day!
It seems like every show there is a sneaky comment that reveals these two are not one of us. The $1,000 stroller was one example that reveals these two have hit homeruns with their lives, but started on third base.
Ok "Guilty as Charged. I was 22, working graveyard in a restaurant while trying to get an education. I would come home from work around 7am. I would take my neighbors delivered newspaper off their porch. I would read it carefully, then neatly fold it back up make it look like nobody had touched it. Then put it back on their porch.
We like splitting an entrée so that we can have room for an appetizer, salad, maybe even a soup, and dessert! And we don’t have to take anything home! (Or leave it to smell up the car when we do the next thing.)
In regards to giving…. I disagree that everyone needs to give through monetary means. There is always the option to give your TIME! I donate my time weekly to our local animal shelter and for them the time is almost if not more valuable than the minimal amount of money I would be able to give them. ❤ someday when I’m out of debt I look forward to also giving financially
Yes the rates of return and withdrawal the Ramsey people must repeat are insane. Dave also uses opposite reasoning to advocate one or the other. If you want people to save so much and never use debt, etc, that's just financial tough love. If you point out 8%+ withdrawals and picking out the market beating funds and still beating the index when you include the high fees is insane, you're a thief of joy.
I disagree on giving while getting out of debt. I’m not getting a second job and selling stuff so I can give the money away. I know why that’s in the book, but it’s not pure to the spirit of the system.
When Rachel said she stole Tabasco sauce bottles it reminded me of this guy we saw at where I used to work. I was a shift lead at Cafe Zupas and we saw this dude walk out with one of our Tabasco sauce bottles in the bottle holder of his backpack. From then on I always thought, “who’s the kind of person who steals sauce from restaurants???” It’s Rachel! Rachel is the kind of person who steals sauce from restaurants!
We need a clip of Rachel, Winston, George & Whitney at a restaurant trying to order appetizers and drinks 😆
A restaurant episode would be fire!
Just stayed at an AirBNB called the Generals Quarters in Franklin for the Money and Marriage Getaway and it was the absolute perfect and best one we have ever stayed in!

YES! I was looking for this comment
First
I don’t think it counts George…
😂
Yup doesn't count 😂
George-you are so stylish, however, olive green shirts aren't doing you justice on camera.
🤣🤣💀
Cracking up over Rachel’s justification to buy the NSYNC album when it came out because they thanked God. I remember trying to convince my mother to buy me the new U2 cassette tape because they had it for sale in the Christian bookstore, and I tried to use the same logic. She wasn’t buying it. 😂
Love you,Rachel...but I agree with George on 100% of these!!😅
I love watching both of you together!!!! I love the humor - keep it up!
I really thought Rachel’s happiness at the beginning was going to be about the *NSYNC reunion 😂😂
Rachel, you always talk about contentment. And it makes me think of my favorite Bible verse-Phillipians 4:11. Now that I speak in the respect of want, for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Can we get a girl's day out with Rachel giveaway? She seems so fun!
Love this. You guys and your team are a blessing!!
I love this podcast! Love the banter. Always makes me laugh!
I also bought a stroller that latest through 3 kids. I paid 150.00 from Walmart. I think it's crazy to pay 1k for a stroller
Same here. Did the 300 dollar bundle for carseat and stroller and had it for all 3 kids
Thank you so much for recommending Tapple. My son was struggling with concentration at school and this has been a huge help. Plus we are all able to play as a family and my son loves it so much.
i am so right in the middle of you two. i eye roll at somethings each of them say, and i cheer at somethings each of you say!! great episode
also 10-12 percent can not be found. i think those numbers are exaggerated.
what i do that is cheap - i always search for a coupon code only before ordering anything - saving an extra 10-40% is worth my search time
You can use your dryer to dry clean at home - you can get special dry cleaning sheets for this
Haha Rachel I remember reading their biographies too and saw they all thanked God and made my heart happy, knowing they were believers or hoped so hehe😊

The Uppababy Bista V2 stroller is THE BEST! Worth the money for sure. 👌🏼
I own all the Buckee’s stuff. I get the new tee shirt every year. Love it!
J'adore The Office. I watched FRIENDS as an adult... I wish I liked it more. I do like that purple door. Rachel, my friends and I pray for the celebrities we like too. I want to see them in heaven.❤
I make my own affogato, just poor an espresso shot over ice cream. It’s delicious & so cheap when you make it at home 😊
The cheap thing I do is any time I have a coupon and for some reason it doesn't work, I will hold up the line while they get a manager to price override. Even if it's a dollar in savings 😂 drives my husband crazy, but dang, I clipped the coupon for a reason and I'm getting my money off! 😅😮
SEINFELD is the best comedy of all time!
I went to see N*SYNC when I was 11 (2001) and it was AWESOME
I thought when George said they share an Ex man, I thought he meant X man and was making a joke about Sophie turner. Lol
I’m with Rachel about friends!
"How are you fancy and so cheap?"😂
First 3 questions I'm with George.
The voice on this was priceless.

True
Rachel sounds like Jojo siwa 😂
At Edleys I ordered online and got two kids meals for myself 🤣 only $5 each and there was so much food!!!!
So much fun!
That’s how I felt about Queen tickets. We bought front row and VIP. VIP probably wasn’t worth it but front row sure as hell was. Had a blast. Wife and I have a special connection through queen so it made sense. Otherwise we would buy nosebleed seats for anyone else
Queen without Freddy Mercury…?

So weird. People’s average income, about 65k and average home cost is about $400K. Still achievable?
We love our Uppababy! Also got gift cards towards it but my 5yr. old loves the skateboard!
Roth and Rachel...new RUclips show, book or seminar would be a perfect title!
My friends issue is when friends social demands drag me into spending more money than Im comfortable spending. Hard, friends or budget.
Crypto is Mary Kay for young man! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We need a link for this Amazon outfit Rachel keeps mentioning.
Such a fun episode, thanks for the laughs.
❤ this Rachel
Buccees = totally worth it. But I’m with Rachel, no gear for me. But my kids and husband each have a shirt or hoodie 😆
George, you were supposed to be comparing “The Office” and “Friends”. You sound like you were talking about “Dawson’s Creek”….”we were all in a place, we were young”. 😂😂😂

Someone once told me that entertainment is seeking the lowest common denominator.
Buccees!!!!! Yes!
Bucees is awesome.
Stroller is worth it
“We splurged and it was not on our dime” had me weak💀 we get to go on conference trips every year for work and we get to take the company car and credit card and we get to also splurge! It’s the best thing ever😂😂
NKOTB do ALL of their dances. They’re a little bit older but still have it 😊
“That was not on my Bingo card” 😂💀
I didn’t tip my hairdresser because it wasn’t in the budget. In my defense the price increase was significant….I will probably pull it out next month 😂 and send it to her. 😅
It’s my new favorite kids book! The best part is the thick pages !! It’s a pet peeve of mine when the pages get torn.❤ Congratulations on the new book Rachel!
This is my favourite show of the week❤
Bucces is absolutely worth the hype!
Are you like a weatherperson . You should get a clothing allowance from ramsey sokutions

Great video! Can't wait to try the cocktail!
I love the Dynamic Duo!

Always fun to watch
We bought your book at Money & Marriage. Got it home & saw that you signed it! My son loves it already. Such a good book!!
My boys love the book as well. So well done.
❤❤❤
Love you guys together so entertaining ❤🙏❤
When Rachel first started talking about how she lost her voice I thought "it's just like when phoebe on friends had laryngitis!"
Thought the veryyyy same!
Me, too!!
You guys are too fun! Congrats on the book Rachel, you're great 👍
Affogato ‘bout how quickly George can make things bougie
For the housing market. Could you please do what you could can afford on what salary with current rates? Like how much you have to make to afford 200k or the average house of 400k+?
Congratulations Rachel!!!

George is right. The brisket is awesome! ❤

Whipped vodka???
My mom takes the little Tabasco bottles too😂
Office homies 👌🏼
🔑 would like to hear your opinions on what is necessary for a young adults first home or apartment?? Which can all be expensive 💰 💴 💵
if ppl would refuse to pay that much for tickets they would be forced to charge less, NOPE not spending my money for any ticket that much

As someone who also has lost their voice all week, get well soon! Whatever this new flu is , is wild!

Rachel!! You had your chance I’d singing “Smelly cat” 😿😂 Use your sick voice for the good!! Lol (it’s a friends episode for y’all )
Bucees is the best convenience store ever. I have one about 20 minuets from my house.
I disagree on giving while getting out of debt. I’m not getting a second job and selling stuff so I can give the money away. I know why that’s in the book, but it’s not pure to the spirit of the system.
At 4:14 conversation starts after all promotions.
Wait? Did she say a 5% deposit on a home is acceptable? That's a pretty major change for what I understand to be the Ramsey system...
Thanks for making financial education fun! You two are the best😁
Rachel is such a girls girl. I love that she has no shame in it. 😂
Made me LOL today. ❤

Sams club for lunch with my daughter foe2.50
Guys, come back to SLC and do a live show here!
Worth every penny! New Edition,Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block was sooooooo goooooood.
