    When you design a bonsai it looks so easy and the result is also beautiful. Thanks for the demonstration.

    I like your design for the tree. I had not seen a cascading Maple before this video. Semi cascade only twice. This is going to be a very interesting to see it progress. Yes, the pot looks a tad large for the tree. However, I can easily imagine it leafed out and several years from now. It’ll be a ‘good’ sized pot for it. Keep the videos coming my friend.

    What is the brand of your scissor? It looks small but seem to cut very well.

    • @bonsaiheirloom
      @bonsaiheirloom  Год назад

      Indeed that one works very well and I like it a lot. But it does not have a brand since it''s just generic. A distinguishing feature of these scissors is the extrusion in the handle. You can probably find it on Temu, Aliexpress, and sometimes Amazon. Prices can range a lot.

    You are a excelent teacher, i saw a bungavillia behind you, can you make a bonsai with one of these ?

    • @bonsaiheirloom
      @bonsaiheirloom  Год назад +1

      Yes you can. I gave an old Bougainvillea bonsai to a good friend, so I have none. But I will soon have one from that friend from his garden. I will use it to demonstrate on my RUclips. Stay tuned!
      You may have to consider digging a tree over time for roots to develop near the top. There is often not much surface roots. The trick is to keep the bonsai in full sun after it is well rooted in order for it to flower.

    I have a question: do you do these kind of cuts in a particular moment of the year or it doesn’t matter when to clip & grow?
    Thanks 🙏🏻

    • @bonsaiheirloom
      @bonsaiheirloom  Год назад +2

      Does NOT matter. You can better see where you are going when the tree has no leaves. Don't clip too often to let the tree grow to strengthen and then to thicken the trunk. Best wishes!
