  • Little section for my upcoming map. Scarab was pain to get working. Its movement was mostly scripted. It actually glitched out in this recording and just stood in one spot. It should work in the finished map tho! Getting path finding for the infantry on the Scarabs deck was an ever bigger pain.
    I plan on making the island you jump between a bit more interesting. Not sure what to do with the final island where you fight the Scarab with the tank. For gameplay it's better to keep it a bit flat, since the Scarab gets real weird real fast at any meaningful height variation. Got any suggestions, leave them bellow!

    I always felt that the scarab encounters in Halo 3 didn’t take as much advantage of the terrain as they could have.
    Your showcase has perfectly demonstrated this. Very nice work!
