    nice video! it's been a long time since you put out the video but I was wondering if you noticed any difference in NVH going from stock to the DK LCAs

      Hey thanks ! I appreciate it! I love these things. No noise or vibrations that I’ve noticed after more then 2 years They were stiff when first installed but they settled I barely notice it .. But the vehicle tracks better and peace of mind off roading these thing are beefy.. I’ve had em teetering on a boulder with just a scratch on the guard.. I can wait to rebuild with new bushings and ball joint but dont feel them quite yet..

    Im doing a similar install. Is it true what I am hearing we should snug the lca pins to frame and shock bolt , then torque on ground? Or is this just a myth?

      reason i ask is because i think most alignments are done on a rack with working load on the joints

    • @livelifeoffroadco
      @livelifeoffroadco  5 месяцев назад

      Yes it’s true definitely mention that at alignment or it will be bouncing down the road

    Hey great video! Sorry for the random question, but how are you liking the OCD sway links? Are they staying torqued? I cannot keep mine torqued.

      Mine are a different brand I can’t remember but I don’t like them.. they make creaking noises I’ve only had them for a year or so. I think I might find some longer oem links off a different Toyota

    Can I ask why you went with dirt king? I'm deciding between dirt king and super pro. I don't need long travel or anything. I'm running the same shocks. Thanks

    Awesome vid! What’s the weight difference between these and stock LCAs? How do you think your ride quality is now?

      Thank you ! just had it aligned today and just started driving it..so it’s to early to say, I’m sure it need to settle in cuz it is A little stiff. But feels really solid and tracks really straight. Overall Im really happy so far!

      Oh and as far as the weight comparison goes i don't know exactly what the stock one's weigh.. but just buy hand i would guess maybe 5-10 lbs heavier. Not a big difference. The shipping weight for the Dirt King LCA is 52Lbs so not crazy heavy. Thank You !

    Are spacers a must to run with these lower control arms , And oem trd wheels??? Or r they a personal option preference??

    • @livelifeoffroadco
      @livelifeoffroadco  Год назад

      Wheel spacers? They depend on your set up and if your tires are rubbing.. 👍

    Does Toyota sell the LBJ separately ?

    • @livelifeoffroadco
      @livelifeoffroadco  Год назад

      I called my local Toyota and They only sell the hole control arm.There are other options for replacing the hole control arm I just decided to upgrade to the Dirt Kings..you can press out the the ball joint and replace with aftermarket but from what I can tell they don’t seat correctly
      Hopefully that helps..👍
      Thanks for the comment!
