    I know this video is 4yr old. But just purchased the standard length lower control arms for my 2gen tacoma. I'm already running kings 2.5 extended travel can't wait to get these lcas in. This will complete my front end.

    thank you so much for the video it was very nice and I think you covered virtually all aspects of the matter, but I wanted to ask you on a different but related subject; have you tried anything on rear suspension upgrade? because the stock leaf springsand and shocks (3rd gen) have very limited travel and they buttom out very easily even on small bumps and I think this is one of the neglected areas that no one seems to talk about and no satisfactory reviews are available on the net or at least I couldn't find any.
    An in depth review on the subject would be nice.

    i was looking for upper control arms for my 2014 tacoma i was thinking about diert kings but i found out dirt kings uppers is non sdjustable i went went eith SPC because they are adjustable. im thinking on using dirt kings for my lowers

    Can you please do a long travel vs mid travel comparison on a nasty dirt road or a whoop section? Pretty please!

      Long travel is way better. It's apples to oranges, there is no comparison because long travel is for hard-core offroading. Mid travel is for mild bumpy trails, what most people do. Long travel you have bigger tires and stewpud reason if you ask me, but that's why most people get Long travel and they never go offroad with it.

      @@arcanum3882 not happy. I have 6" lift and 35s. It is thrown my sharp steering angles off, and in four-wheel drive mode it causes binding. I have new OEM control arms to replace with.

    What do you suggest I do first on my 3'inch lift fox 2.0 tacom...? Upper control arms or lower or both. What's more important or where do I begin

      You should have done the upper control arm when you did your lift.

    How have these held up ? Any issues pros vs cons ..long term reveiw? Standard travel ..without other modifications needed?

      So far still using these, really good! As far as standard vs long travel it really depends on what you’ll be using it for, but tbh these have been the least problematic part of my suspension setup since, they’re great

    As usual.....how much? I want every single thing you do to your truck on my truck. Every video you post is another $2000 bucks. That Tacoma has got to be pushing $100,000 or more already, hahaha

    Still don't understand how a few sections of pipe welded together and a ball joint can cost 500+ dollars. Then billet uca's are insanely unjustified.

      Sure the materials don’t cost even close to that much but its the R&D time, it’s the trial and error, it’s the cost that it took to get the final product. It’s not impossible to do it yourself but it’ll probably still cost you more.

    you'd think that a suspension expert would use the proper terminology, but at least he didn't call it a 'strut'.
    the 'shock absorption' is handled by the spring and that engery absorbed by the spring is controlled by a dampener.
