Back then, I was printing just little rings out of PETG to slip onto the outside of the spool. Now I just use electrical tape. It's easy easier and faster! Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hi! I tried to put a 3d Jake filament on my Bambu lab spool who was empty, I did all the parameter etc but my ams think the filament who was on the spool first, can you help me with that ? thank you!
If I understand correctly, it still thinks the old filament is on there? You would have to update the new spool in your AMS. It will only recognize Bambu filament with the chip in it. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
The reason you can’t change perhaps is you are selecting a gcode file from local memory card that has spool Already coded? When in slicer you can choose whichever. I just got mi AMS, but that may be what is going on.
Yes all those files came preloaded. But the spool is the only one you can pick a slot for. Ask the others defaults to the first slot. The question was raised on one of the Facebook Bambu Labs groups. So I made this quick video to help. That was back when the public starting getting their pre orders delivered. Thanks for watching!
This video is from when the public was first getting their printers. They were asking about selecting different slots for the preloaded files. You may be able to select different slots on the newer printers now. But when they first came out, only the spool could you select different shots to print from. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Very informative and useful, as I was searching for exactly this: How the printer knows what color a non-bambu filament is! Thanks for the video!
I'm glad I could help! Thank for watching and commenting!
Great video Roger, thanks for the info mate 👍
No problem, I hope it helps in some way! Thanks for watching!
What modification do you have on your cardboard spools does it work or would you recommend respooling

sorry that didn't make any sense at all. you didn't explain enough. all you did was show what you did without alot of "reasons". maybe i'm stupid.
