      I heard this only works on the x1 carbon, did it work on your p1s too?

    That is the first thing I enabled on mine when I set up the AMS unit. It's great to see that Bambu Lab has finally helped the printing community out.

    I just got my bamboo labs p1p today, and I absolutely fell in love with it and thank you again for the tutorial video. It helped out a lot setting it up. 😊

      Got mine about a month or so ago.... and same thing man, same thing. After coming from an Ender 3 Pro, to an Ender 3 S1 Pro, and now the P1P..... it's SOOOO NICE being able to basically throw ANY stl at it, and it'll print it perfectly with a slim chance of any sort of failure. Ordered the AMS a little while back, too, which should be here next week. Debating if i want to attempt taking it apart and replacing all the PTFE tube with Capricorn tubes in hopes that MAYBE TPU would be usable in it? *shrug*

    I thought I had this built in, but I didn't know how to use it. Now that I do, I can use some old filament much more efficiently! Thank you very much.

    Awesome information! Thanks for sharing this. Probably would be good to lightly tape the end of that filament, just enough to keep it on there, but not enough to keep it from being pulled free.

    Thanks for the video... I had previously read about this feature and tried it on my AMS, but it didn't automatically take the other filament with the same settings. I have an early Kickstarter unit, so I am wondering if that might be it...

    • @ruiraptor
      @ruiraptor  Год назад +1

      Hi JTWorks, did you update the firmware of your AMS unit and printer? The first AMS units sent for reviewers do not allow firmware upgrades and if this is the case, then it will not work.
      Check if your AMS and printer has the latest firmware installed and also the Studio slicer and the feature enabled. With all these it would to work.

    I had green in slot 2 and 3, but the ams switched to black in slot 1 after it ran out in slot 2. Very confused. All bambulab filament and the two greens were the same color. WTH? I’m just going to turn it off for now.

    to anyone, any clarification is appreciated. WHAT HAPPENS to that tail piece from the empty roll? does that feed through to the nozzle, and use up ALL that "empty roll" filament, and then parks the head, starts feeding in the BACKUP roll, etc? does the BACKUP filament feed in ok, behind the "empty roll" tail end, and travel in the bowden tube ok? i've not seen any video that really shows this part of the step. Ruiraptor's video is great, but any clarification is appreciated

    • @Taylachteam
      @Taylachteam 5 месяцев назад

      Yes, to my understanding it will extrude the first role until completely empty then load the second to print.
      No need to push the tail of the roll because the Bambu has a direct extruder head.

    Are your Bambus rattling (noise) too? Esspecially on sport and ludicrous mode?

    • @ruiraptor
      @ruiraptor  Год назад

      Not sure what exactly is the sound you are referring to, but when using fast accelerations the machine makes more mechanical noise.

    Could we have a tiny circuit board made to pick up the filament poop signal which will operate a door at the poop shoot and send the 4 different color poops to 4 different locations
    This will make 4 different piles of poop, each a different color and make recycling the poop a breeze!!!
