- Kwite is a famous commentary RUclipsr who has been at the center of drama for a month. It started with a Twitter post from Orion, and has spiraled into many accusations since. Kwite initially went into silence as the pressure mounted, but has finally responded, and brought more proof than anyone could have expected.

The fact kwite was essentially forced to show his face and throw a bunch of his insecurities and past on the table because of a seemingly false accusation is insane. I feel really bad for kwite.
And the fact that this all seemed like an attempt to bring his career down because kwite didn’t want to be back in contact anymore is also super insane
i guarantee that the reason why Orion called Kwite out was because Kwite had cut ties with him.

The allegations are so flimsy that i don't think Orion ever expected to never be found out. I think he just wanted to cause as much mischeif as possible and destroy Kwite's mental health as revenge.

he did provide proof of being sexually assaulted, which was a letter from a therapist that details him showing most of the signs of a victim of sexual assault. what could have happened was a merging of memories, which is a sign of intense trauma, where in their head they mistook their sexual assault with the sex with kwite. this isn't to say he is in the right or that he should've done this the way he did or that kwite should just suck it up and leave, but it is probably a sign of deepened mental trauma. maybe a form of psychosis or paranoid schzophrenia. paranoid schizophrenia is very commen in victims of sexual assault, with the most infamlus example being valerie solanas. a paranoid schzophrenic misandrist who tried to kill andy warhol in 1969 over a non-existant dispute about who owns the rights to a play she wrote. she was a victim of sexual assault through her childhood up until her early adulthood. this isn't me diagnosing the dude, but i just hope he gets the help he needs to avoid this pattern of behaviour again.

@@pandozmc It was proven fake. There were typos, the symptoms were copy-pasted from Google (Orion even accidentally pasted one of the symptoms twice), and the signature was extracted from another source as the pixels around it didn’t match the document.

it's horrifying honestly. i had a friend that more or less was doing the same things towards me minus sa accusations because i am luckily paranoid enough and careful enough that i have never put my pics up online or released personal info, so all they had were my social media and an online friendship. they still managed to stalk me online and dig up my early 2010s deviantart account that i had completely abandoned and forgotten about and had no relations to on any current account whatsoever. what some people are capable of is terrifying

Those are what a manipulator would say. "had SECRETS on him" is basically Orion's way of telling everyone in that one video that he has stuff against Kwite that he isn't afraid to use.

People have but he doesn’t care. From the messages, he reminds me of my own ex friend who did this sort of thing. These people don’t care who they hurt, they just double down again and again because they want attention or to be what they say. They have a weird obsession with being a victim
What set me off was "I'm working on,my BPD diagnoses." No you're not it's not a degree that you're striving for. A therapist diagnoses you or you don't have an issue you're just an asshole.

The fact that he felt obligated to even show his face because his “victim” leaked his face on the internet must be so invasive for him! It’s extremely vile for Orion to potentially put him in harms way over shit he didn’t even do! Orion had half a decade to learn from his own mistakes, but no, he instead dug a deep hole for himself because he wanted to ruin someone’s life even more to the point of possibly breaking the law! He needs to screw off the internet for good and either go to jail if he’s able to or just learn to leave people the fuck alone!

I want Kwite to sue for defamation and libel.
Considering the precedent set by the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard suit, it's been proven that you can use Tweets as evidence in those types of suits. It will be painfully easy to prove defamation and malice in this particular case, so he's got a good chance of victory.

i find it disgusting how people went from sending kwite death threats because of orion’s claims to doing a 180 and talking about how much they supported kwite.
i really hope kwite recovers from this and i hope him and his family are safe, i can’t imagine how difficult this is for them.

there was something scary when Orion said in that video "I have his address, his secrets, i know his parents because we were best friends" - like in some way they're flaunting around that they have this sorta power over Kwite. They released his face, that is a form of doxxing. That is not okay.
Also, in most cases, abusers DONT want you to know that information - they isloate you, they control you, they don't want ANYONE to know of their situation.

When you're in the relationship sure, but a narcissistic abuser will look at every break up or falling out and even just distance growing between former friends as a betrayal. They will then use everything they know about you to punish you for leaving or disobeying them. and yes, lying about about the victim 'actually being the abuser' is a textbook tactic of narcissistic abuse. And it doesn't help that Orion has self admitted BPD, which leads to extreme views of relationships ie; I love this person so much nothing will ever come between us, they are late to dinner by five minutes they must be cheating fuck them fuck this I hate them they'll suffer for what they've done to me.

I watched Kwite's response today and he is so eloquent. I'm in my early 30's and seeing such a young man deal with this breaks my heart. He was very calm and mature and did a great job showing where Orion's story didn't add up. I'm sad for him that he had to out sooooo many private details about himself that he wouldn't have broadcasted otherwise. This makes me want to support him more.

@@anglepsycho I agree with the point about the call, not only did Orion attempt to paint Kwite as gaslighting from the very beginning of the point about the call, thus effectively making everything he said or did that could help his case worthless, but he had to deal with a biased mediator who Orion stated "Knew better than to believe him" he was essentially forced into the call during a hurricane while his house flooded after he almost lost thousands of dollars worth of equipment, and then the fact that he got angry and emotional was used as ammunition against him? I'd have been pissed too, that's enough emotional stress to make anyone break down.
And then after that his apology was labeled as Kwite "Trying to further gaslight" Orion with zero basis just to further defame him.
Is anyone surprised that a person with mental illness, to the point they believe their a girl, would do something crazy like this? When a mentally ill person has only people that reaffirm their delusions, instead of rebuke them or actually try to help them with the truth, their going to be living in a whole different reality that doesn't make sense to anyone with a grasp on real life. No surprise that he tried to destroy someone that fed into his delusions because they thought it was the nice thing to do, it's not and it will only destroy that person's ability to function in the real world.

When I watched the 'victims' testimony I realized a lot of things, as a long-time viewer of Kwite I realized how many badly patched places the story held. I feel so bad that he had to open up to so many people unwillingly just to try to free himself from being called a 'rapist' I feel horrible for him, I really enjoyed him and his videos and the whole thing sucks.
I refused to unsubscribe from him and kept checking for a response. Because the story just felt too weird and patchy.

I remember when Pyrocynical faced a bunch of grooming allegations. In order to prove his innocence he basically had to out that he enjoyed sexual furry role-playing and read some of his chats.

@@falcon_arkaig imo it's 2 things. 1. popular youtubers in and of themselves are more often male, so even if youtubers were accused at random, they would be more likely to be men, and 2. people are aware that female sexual abusers are relatively "rare" enough that it'll be a hard sell for the general audience they're telling the accusations to.
part of why these false accusations are so effective is that people know and are aware that there ARE actually tons of moments of popular internet men genuinely being creeps (i only remember one or two who're women and they're definitely not as well known as kwite or pyrocynical), not just that but also everyday men in people's personal lives in general, and the liars take advantage of people by telling a lie that's "plausible" in theory :/

This whole thing makes me so angry and sad. I love Kwite's videos and streams; which now he might not do anymore (which I don't blame him nor would ever hold that against someone since I'd do the same shit tbh). He didn't deserve any of this. It just makes me so upset that people keep doing this type of stuff; especially with SA. As a victim of long-term SA abuse, seeing people use it to cancel someone who didn't do anything just pisses me off to no end. It isn't a joke or something that is to be taken lightly, it destroys your mental well-being--which for the record, the way that Kwite responded to Orion's messages is the same thing that I do when I receive "those" kinds of messages from people I used to know.

Same. Unfortunately I seen this with Spector, Tobuscus, Dream, Pyro, Slazo, and many others through the years. In fact, false accusations have been an issue since the Middle Ages until the innovation of “innocent until proven guilty” was placed in England under their common law reform.
Not to say it’s fruitless, but new generations don’t learn from old mistakes and I feel like it’s our collective fault for not preparing minds to not react like an angry mob.
I hope there will be some major change in education regarding how situations like these should be handled or how to manage complex emotions when faced with cases because it honestly makes me sad how easy it is. Even personal friends and myself gotten falsely accused and were not even popular.
Anyways, I just say this as a way to relate, give hope, and historical context of the larger issue of false accusation in past and modern times. Thanks for speaking out too btw!

I was already on the fence when I heard the accusations, well just as Kwite said: "Trust, but verify"
I’ve been through this before, where you have a friend with mental health issues, and they use you as a way to either make themselves feel better and to constantly be talking them down and reassuring your friendship. It’s honestly exhausting and they shouldn’t use regular people with their own mental health issues for this, they need professional help. And when you’re near the breaking point and need some distance, they use guilt and accusations to hurt you. It’s not good and is a tricky situation. I feel for Kwite, I’ve been in that exact position before and the best thing to do, at least in my situation was to cut off contact and recommend professionals they can talk to, or introduce them to a professional.

I feel the same, was in the same position with a girl I knew.
If i spent a single day at home and not with her she'd threaten suicide.
It becomes taxing and as an introvert with depression anyway spending all my time with her, trying to walk her back from the edge was killing me.

There's only so much of this stuff you can take before you stop caring.
And Kwite was correct in calling them his abuser because this is emotional manipulation and abuse.
To anyone reading this if someone you know is using suicide to keep you around, they are emotionally manipulating you.
It is not your responsibility to keep their mental health in check - it's theirs.
The most you can and should do is be there for them when times are tough, make reasonable suggestions about how to improve/combat the negative thoughts and when things get real bad welfare check / advise they see a professional.
This will emotionally destroy you if you dont.
This is why I'm emotionally unavailable at the moment and kicked me back into my depression when I was just breaking free of it.

man the moment i heard bpd i cringed HARD. now to be clear i dont think people with it are evil or anything like that. just that from past personal experiences with different people this sounds like a favorite person situation that got out of control, i had to cut two friends off because they suddenly became horrible people to me accusing me of things that didn't even happen or that i was picking favorites with other friends and didn't want them anymore. turns out i was their favorite person and that's why everything escalated. i feel so sorry for kwite, i hope he can recover from this

Just for the record, just because you/someone is diagnosed with BPD, that doesn't mean that the actions BPD person chooses to make are excused. Sure, it is explained and other people should try to understand, to an extent. Having BPD and being a shitty person is not synonyms. If you fuck up, don't hide behind any diagnosises but make up or take the consequences of fucking up. It is not other people's responsibility to cater you, it is your responsibility to get therapy, medication, have a safety plan, explore better coping mechanisms etc. BPD is proven to be for most people not be a permanent diagnosis, you can get better. Time is on your side too. Sincerely a person with BPD.
Also for others, don't armchair diagnose people you don't like with BPD, or NPD or anything else for that matter, I see this so often. "My mother wasn't diagnosed but I think she has BPD" things like that only creates more stigma.
Same, I’ve had a similar experience with my step sister who has BPD. She also accused me of this same accusation of sa. I’ve disconnected with her since then, but I seriously hope she took action in taking care of herself and her disorder and she sticks with it.

This really reminds me of the Pyrocynical accusations. The creator accused had to come out and dump every log of every interaction to prove their side and in doing so they release a ton of private, intimate, embarrassing things they should have kept hidden otherwise. I'm glad to see Kwite was innocent. I'm sad this is what he needed to do.

I'm disgusted with Orion. He's making it so much harder for actual victims to come out with their actual experiences. I pray that Orion gets faced with charges in one way or another, by Kwite or Kwite's family. I hope Orion is disappointed with himself by the end of this because there is no way he is getting out unscathed.
I can only say this as a victim of someone with much the same behavior exhibited by Orion; it was absolute hell and was a constant barrage of being blamed for things that literally never happened. To such a degree that even those that actively lived with this person (and I'd literally only been in the same room as this person maybe three times with my spouse, and their then spouse) had to move out of their shared home and seek a divorce. This person who was a relative stranger to me painted my name as the cause for everything negative in their life. It was terrifying.
It wasn't even worth it to argue with them because they'd apologize for their behavior to your face, then go on deranged tangents online. And as an actual victim of sa, this sort of behavior sets off every red flag for me. The calls alone egg on my PTSD something wicked.

it absolutely disgusts me that orion used such a serious and terrible topic as a way to get back at him. orion needs to face consequences for this. i doubted them due to their lack of proof and suspicious behaviour from the beginning but mostly kept my mouth shut about it, but now that kwites response is out i am glad he was able to make such a thorough response. i hope whatever way he chooses now moving forward will be the best for him and that this wont continue to hurt him.

watching Kwite's response yesterday was a roller coaster & i couldn't be more proud of him. & even though the relief of him being innocent is strong, unfortunately Orion made things 100x harder for actual victims to come out & be believed as well.

This whole situation breaks my heart- Kwite is one of my favorite RUclipsrs and the fact he was forced to face reveal, talk about his insecurities and even reveal something as personal as being a virgin on camera for millions to see, just because he cut ties with someone toxic and that person decided to ruin his entire life is so fucked up. I am genuinely worried about him, because I can't imagine the weight of being accused of such horrendous things when you're the actual victim. I really hope he'll get better and this won't lead him to do anything bad to himself-
I also genuinely feel so bad for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't return. He's my favorite youtuber and i hate to see him having to publicly admit such personal details. It disgusts me. He should have been able to keep his privacy. He shouldn't have had such an awful thing happen to him.

I'm talking about the dude throwing baseless accusations as a way to continue to abuse and control someone who has obviously from just the little bit of evidence in this video has been struggling to escape the abusive relationship for a long time. I believe we should believe the victim and allow them to speak but not attack the accused. Especially not until they’ve had a chance to defend themselves.

The way Orion is being described here sounds so familiar to me since I have dealt with the same kind of co-dependent, toxic, manipulative friends. Feels like Orion made up a lot of these accusations only because he wanted to make Kwite "pay" for daring to cut off this unhealthy relationship and move on from him.
It's clear to me that Orion was/is a parasite towards Kwite. He took advantage of Kwite's kindness especially with his depressive episodes. Trauma dumping is hurtful and the way Orion acted implies he would have hurt himself if Kwite just stopped responding to him. Orion honestly reminds me of my ex who I was afraid to leave because I was worried he'd hurt himself if I did. I truly hope things get better for Kwite in the future and I hope he can heal from this even if he doesn't come back to RUclips I wish him the absolute best, he really deserves it.

I hate how people who supported the “victim” and called Kwite so many bad things and even went as far as saying he deserved to die. I had a youtuber I looked up to make a video supporting orion and they deleted the video. It made me so upset that they too, didn't wait for a response and jumped to conclusions.

i shouldn’t speak as if anything is concrete, but i feel like at the very least, it’s INCREDIBLY safe to say that orion was lying about his accusations in some regard.
I helped a friend get through a relationship like this one before. It was his ex-girlfriend (they were dating at the time) if he said anything she didn't like she would threaten the self die, and self hurting (censoring for youtube and other reasons) He would have panic attacks for days on end over it when she finally would reappear again after he had "learned his lesson" her words. I worked with my friend for several weeks to untangle all the pain and fear and finally got him to ghost her entirely. He is much healthier for it now and got therapy afterwards after I told him to do so. All the shit that Orion was pulling (if everything in Kwite's video is true of course) was very very similar to what my friend went through. They never pulled the SA card on him, although there's still time for that apparently, cause these people never move on. He would go days without sleep with stress. People that do this sort of thing are a new form of sick in the head.
I remember seeing the original callout and it still baffles me how many people just up and believed Orion at first. And when they doubled down from saying Kwite deleted social media to he deleted all their messages together and not providing proof.

As someone who has BPD, it's common to villainize people who we aren't getting along with. It's also common to worship people who we are. Any good therapist would have worked with Orion, about this aspect of the illness. We have many difficulties with friendships and relationships, and, this is the one that bothers me the most. In my mind, there's little chance that people still like me when we're fighting. It's more likely they completely hate me, because, how could you yell at me or say cruel things to me, when you do still like me? But, I KNOW that's my BPD talking, even if not in the moment, I'll focus on that later, and try to make amends, if possible.
A lot of Orion's behavior can be attributed to his BPD, in my opinion. HOWEVER, that's NOT an excuse. Not even near. If you're aware you have flaws and faults at something in life, you work on them. You don't weaponize them, especially not repeatedly. And, if someone tells you they can't be around you, because YOU are bad for THEM? Yeah, it stings. It hurts like hell. But, if YOU loved that person, you should ACCEPT them doing what is best for THEM. Even if it hurts.

At the time of the original accusation coming out, I was mainly neutral although I did unsub to Kwite just incase it was true. Now knowing what I know, originally I genuinely believed that the person that Orion was in the photos with wasn't Kwite, I even told my friends this. But now we do know that it is. I find it honestly disgusting that Orion went of of his way to ruin Kwite's life. I hope Kwite does get better after this situation as it's truly scary.

Also went the cautious "unsub just in case" way. I also did extra digging into Kwite's past and previous alt and the worst I could find was that (ironically enough) he trusted Slazo's accuser over Slazo, so he seems to be attracting abusive and petty people.

I hadn't heard about these allegations, but it's really sad that Kwite's face was revealed from this.
The advantage of not being terminally online is that I missed the entire accusation part and only had this show up on my radar after both sides were already out. Best advice to come out of this situation would be to not believe every accusation and remember that our society is supposed to operate on the axiom of "Innocent until PROVEN guilty."

As someone who's dealt with self harm, SA, and just out right manipulative abusive friendships, absolutely my heart goes out for Kwite.
Part of it also goes out to Orion - but not in support or belief of his allegations - but instead, of the fact that this young man (Orion) has clearly gone through some serious emotional trauma. Something has driven him to spin this tall tale for attention, support, or a personal speculation of mine; a way of gaining control/justice from someone he believes he can get it from, where he can't get it from an actual abuser in his life.
(ie. a SA victim reported and sought 'justice' on a former friend who'd they'd once been perhaps 'led on' by, because their actual SA abuser had already somehow, got off scott free.)
In no way would that excuse any of these allegations - false, or even true - as any allegations of this manor should always be taken seriously; though sadly when false ones are indeed made, of course that makes it harder for actual accounts of SA to be looked into, etc.
My personal take away, is that these two had a friendship, that lacked proper communication, and boundary respect and/or setting. Which, is going to be sadly common for young people (young adults and younger) to get themselves into; *usually* without intent from either party, but obviously there are going to be bad bad people out there.
TLDR: Boundaries were crossed, people were hurt, and now people are suffering.
I have my personal opinion on who may be the truthful here - Kwite, given evidence provided currently - but in harsh reality, only these two know the truth truth, and we can only speculate and hope for truth and actual justice in this case, wherever it may *truly* stand.

Orin sounds similar to how I acted before therapy. I can tell you first hand those kind of people are a total drain on their friends. I was able the get help, but I don’t know if they are going to be willing to change. I feel bad for Kwite having to deal with that
I had an ex with BPD that while never went as low as falsely accusing me, or anyone, of rape (she did accuse her former employer of sexual assault but there were witnesses, it was unfortunately all real), she did exhibit many traits Orion had, and me with some unspecified mental illness myself (never got diagnosed, I think it's either depression or bipolar disorder) I could not have supported her as much as she needed and deserved.
She now has a much better suited partner and has worked through many of her issues even without medication, and I am very happy for her, she is a good person that has gone through a lot of bad things.
Orion deserves absolutely nothing and should go straight to hell.

people seem to forget the whole "innocent until proven guilty" idea. people are too quick to act as judge, jury, and executioner despite rarely having even half of the facts. people who say "well, even if we're wrong at least we weren't *potentially* supporting an abuser" seem to ignore the harm they caused the innocent person being accused. like, i understand the reason behind the idea of supporting the victim no matter what, but instances like this are reasons why we as viewers need to stay neutral in these topics and wait for a response before lashing out and irreparably damaging an innocent person's life. not to mention, continuing to support an accuser no matter how patchy and unrealistic their story is will only hurt future victims and therefore making the reason they're supporting said accuser unconditionally all for naught.
Let us not forget that Orion did ALL of this just because they were butthurt about Kwite not wanting to bang them and would’ve accepted any of their advances towards him, Kwite cut him off because Orion was a toxic friend and they tried making him the bad guy. When the accusations first dropped, I remember a creator was going over what they will be talking about and how his face was revealed against his will, I stopped and waited to hear from Kwite. I rather be neutral and not take a side of a potential abuser or a potential liar. Kwite shouldn't have to been forced to reveal himself and shouldn't have been put through this. I do hope he does come back and Orion get some sort of punishment
the fact that Orion is 21 years old and doing these types of false allegations on somebody who is just a year older than him is really shocking to me.

I feel so awful cause I’ve had a friend like this before and I somewhat relate to kwite, having to always comfort them, making sure they don’t do something awful to others or theirselves, trying so desperately to talk them out of doing or saying awful things until I broke, dropping everything I was doing to help them and even distancing myself from people irl, and plus this whole situation is just horrible. Having to show his insecurities just to prove his innocence is just sickening..
Allegations like these are getting way too common nowadays, and it’s insane to me that people will lie about whatever they want just for a drop of relevance. No person should have to go through what Orion alleges that he went through, but Kwite also did not deserve having his privacy tarnished, while also being publicly shamed for his insecurities.

In my case i stay neutral when this stuff happens, too many people accusing other people falsely which means we can't trust anyone when they accuse someone of crimes, but that doesn't mean to trust the supposed "abuser" either because we don't know if it's true or not, honestly i was quite annoyed at the fact that some people instead of being neutral chose to follow "guilty until proven innocent" when the "victim" could be lying like many other people did, but i didn't care at people thinking "innocent until proven guilty" which was a bad play on my part too cuz we didn't know the truth

That is stupid. You should always stay neutral if somebody is accused of a crime. If you always side with the victim there's a 50/50 chance of you being wrong. If you stay neutral and waited until more info is out then you can make the proper assessment on what to do. You don't need to support the alleged "victims", we only need to make sure they have the power to speak up for themselves.

the Kwite situation feels very similar to an experience I had with a former "friend," more serious, of course. But I did have someone who was really horrible to me and tried to get me away from my other friends, used mental health as an excuse for things, there are so many similarities I could kind of pick up from it. And whaddya know, after I cut them off, guess what they did?

I sympathize with Kwite a lot in this situation, and I'm glad he's innocent. The man didn't deserve anything that he went through. If he quits, I understand. If not, I'll welcome him back with open arms. And I know that sentiment is shared by many. He's very strong and admirable for being able to defend himself so maturely.

something that I'm always left asking myself when things like this come up is why do i feel the need to know this information about these people that i most likely won't ever meet/definitely won't know in that personal of a way ? i cannot imagine the damage it's done to have to be that vulnerable about private matters to so many people . maybe it comes with the territory that you have to do that in these situations, but i really wish it was different . heavily agree that it's good to be patient about responses to these things . i see why kwite has to reconsider if this is a career he can keep doing as well as the fact that he can't be anonymous anymore

Honestly, I'm just so disgusted by Orion. I believed him, and I rushed to re-tweet, like, send support through DMs because "Why would someone lie about such a serious thing?", it's so important we believe victims and let them feel like they are heard and seen but people like this, revolting people like Orion, who lie about being r*pe/SA victims just make it harder for us to do that when real victims speak out. I cannot stress enough how abhorrent it is to falsely accuse someone of A CRIME, not only are you ruining their life, but you're diverting the attention of people to your false accusations instead of the real ones we should be paying attention to. I feel so bad for Kwite, no one, and I mean NO ONE deserves to be falsely called a r*pist, and no victim deserves to not be believed; Orion is an asshole that is encouraging both of these things.
This is why "innocent until proven guilty" is correct and "believe the victim" is a horrible mantra, because it gives ultimate power to anyone who makes any sort or accusation regardless of how baseless they are

But as most people do (since most people have been SA'd or harassed) they empathize with the victim, I didn't condemn kwite, I wasn't calling him a r*pist or anything, but I did side with the victim and I did share their story simply because it is important that victims are heard and believed, but it is also as important that we also hear and believe the accused person when they defend themselves.

I was unaware of the situation until I saw Kwite's response, and I'm so glad. I would hate for my opinion of someone to be poisoned by hearing false accusations. The last few weeks must have been hell for him and I'm so sorry for everything he's been going through. I would totally understand if he left RUclips permanently, but with the tide of opinion seeming to be in his favor I hope he'll come back. I'll be waiting to support him if he does.

The first video I watched of you was your Boyinaband video and you immediately had my respect. A lot of times it feels like people make and consume drama videos because they find it entertaining, which is disturbing to me considering most of these allegations are of abuse. Seeing you do your due diligence and listen to both sides instead of rushing like a vulture is such a breath of fresh air.
