I think the best think to do on game day is This. Fast until a few hours before your game. Before the game eat fruit and drink water. Dates, grape, watermelon, mango, orange, banana etc. choose one fruit. Eat until you are satisfied. If you tried tell me How it went ;)

very good information here but just remember supplements aren't more important that hard work and diet.

Creatine will help your muscles recover quicker and store water. I took it for around six months. Lift 3/4 times a week and play two games of football/soccer.
You can get tablets which are easier to take and you don’t need to cycle on off. I’m giving it three months off and then back on it again.
I’m doing it to improve strength rather than the football side, it definitely helped with the weight training.
