The soundtrack is heavenly, one of the greatest endings of all time
I told you I'm never going back.
Yes
It's trippy fucking brilliant
I loved this movie so much and this movie also inspired one of the greatest comic book movies ever dark knight
Perfectly said 👍🏻👍🏻
"Told you I'm never going back..."
Rami Dahud “Yeah...”
'once you go black'
Great one Bro.
I've been using that sentence for 25 years now, but not in a prison context, but in a general one.
I have chills lol
i love how they don't actually look at each other when holding hands, its like a period in time, one dying, being left in another life, and one starting anew, with everything in this life changed, not knowing where to go now, killing the only man who maybe truly understood him, tho they were rivals, the respect was something both knew they could never share with someone else, so AL's character for the first time, isn't chasing someone... like a new life has begun
Damn that was deep bro. Rightfully said.
such a good movie
extremely deep.
Beautifully stated
Damn did I really write this years ago 😂 this music hit different
This has a sadness and peace operating at the same time. Isn't that life. Beautiful
This is the best music out of the whole movie. "Told you I'm never going back."
Yeah......
Ralph , sit down!!!
This is an extremely important movie. It inspired directors like Cristopher Nolan, and ushered a new era of action films.
still relevant
"Told you i'm never going back"
"Yeah"
Isaiah Gallardo *Holds hand*
+Rotter Dam could u explain what does it mean? going back where? to prison?
+MindaugasLegend - *** 20 YEAR OLD SPOILER*** LOL =) - De Niro (Neil McCauley) is dying after being gunned down by Pacino (Lt. Hanna) at the end of the movie. An aircraft landing at an airport reflects his shadow, giving Pacino the advantage. - As he dies, De Niro's last words were; 'Told you I'm never going back'. - And yes, as in jail. They had a talk earlier at a cafe, ego to ego.
+MindaugasLegend ye he means the prison
Michael Mann's crime classic. Heat is Mann's masterpiece. Everything is razor sharp spot on. The direction, the cinematography of LA, and most off the powerhouse acting of Two of the Greatest Oscar Winning Actors of our generation. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro commands and dominates the film. And the supporting contributions of Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore, Ashley Judd, Jon Voight, etc. Heat is not just one of if not The Best Action Film Of The 90's. Heat is One Of The Greatest Crime Movies Of All-time.
+Emmanuel Williams I agree. Heat is one of the greatest crime films that has ever been made. It is also firmly in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
Charles Buckland You should watch "Thief" if you haven't already. 👍👍
Spot on...in everything!!
Best film of the 90s decade for sure

One of the greatest film endings ever!!!
That's right amigo

Truly!!
EPICCCCCCCCCCC
"I'm alone I'm not lonely!" Neil McCauley
In the end as he lays there bleeding it seems he's both alone and lonely so he reaches out to Vincent to hold his hand. Very poignant ending.
Una maza ....De Niro y Pacino juntos ......mortal
How DeNiro's character held out his dying hand to Pachino who played his sworn enemy -- the affection these two men had for each other -- best thing I've ever seen happen in a movie.
Linda Method it happens in real life also....rarely, but it happens.
Linda Method yes true..and it reflects these 2 greats acting process..
Before I saw the movie they pulled it in the theaters before I had a chance to see it I had to watch it on video Goldberg did a review and it wasn’t till I watched it that it wasn’t clear enough that the Al pachino and Val Kilmer characters were gay lovers.
@@TuriyanGold what do you mean
@@TuriyanGold Good theory, there.
One of the best endings to a movie ever!
Yes the lights, the planes roaring overhead, the finality of him getting his man but at the same time somewhat regretting it
Still relevant!
Just thinking about the ending to that movie gives me chills. I have never seen a movie that hit me like Heat did, and probably never will.
me to and this ending credit musical score added to it

This song is called 'god moving over the face of the water' by Moby if anyone wants to know! Such a beautiful piece.
Rachel Kelly Thanks for that. Love the music!
I loved this movie them from the very first time I heard it in the late 1990's, Rachel, and has it stuck in my mind ever since. Its such an iconic, famous moving, powerful, moving an unforgettable them tune with a cult status that goes with it!!! Do you agree, Rachel???
Rachel Kelly ..thanks rachel..whenever i see al ,s face..in my mind..this music will come and keep haunting me..thanks for the info
Love you
Thanks,The Heat soundtrack isn’t on iTunes
When Neil broke his personal rule of keeping emotions out of his work and having no attachments he made a mistake that cost him everything.
This track is powerful, nostalgic and sad at the same time. Fits very well the thrilling and immersive nature of the story and the movie.
more than a legendary movie. This movie will be unforgettable for a really long time
unforgettable is binary.
if something is forgettable after 10 years it was forgettable from the start, it just had a longer expiration date.
Just finished watching this fantastic masterpiece.

Last meaningful decade in entire world..90s. Back when actors, directors, music had class, style, substance and personality. RIP world since 2000 !!!
@@Aman-nk5uq Absolutely. The 90s were the best for movies and music.
I think everyone points to the scene where they are in the coffee shop talking to each other and I think that is a very great scene, one of the best. but I think the scene that got me from the first time I watched it was their last robbery and the sheer intensity and violence of the scene. These men were willing not only to risk their lives to get rich, but they were willing to tear families apart and end lives to get rich. I think Micheal Mann shot this scene so well to make that narrative very clear.
Heat and L.A Confidential. Best movies of the 90,ties!
Is it so wrong to cry over this ?
nope.
Many tracks written by Moby are very melancholic
What a masterpiece. Truly unbelievable I haven't seen this movie until now. The final duel is just perfection. Mann at his best.
Sad but beautiful...
This ending is pure magic!
Heat, (1995). This movie is number 1 on my World's Greatest Movies List, its right there with The Dark Knight (2009).
It is truly one of the best movies of all time.
word
i listen to this every night and relax....timeless❤❤❤
One of the few movies i will never forget... this music is just pure bliss.

I remember wearing out my VHS tape of this movie back in 1996-1997.
The BEst CRIME ACTION FILM of all times!! The best shoot-out scene in history! When the story meant something! ANd everything else.Pure Perfection!
I want this to be the last piece of music to listen to before I die...
MOTHMAN225 ME 2 ! I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT ALL DAY TODAY !
played this for my dad the night b4 he passed, Classic
As society has fallen morally etc etc so have the movies! Old movies had character!
Its all a distraction from what is going on around the world. The circus that is being created by lunatics that simply have too much money and just want to f**k with everyone else because "They can". Revolution is coming one way or another.
Al Pacino & Robert the Niro at their best respect 😍😍😍😍
Two legends in this movie. The highlight is their first face to face meeting...I agree, this is one of the best movies. Even the bad guys had a lot of class.
Well except Van Zadt. And especially Waingro are the only two bad guys who have no class. I was SOO Happy seeing Neil take out both of them. Even if it cost him everything in the end.
The beauty of this scene and score can not be summed up for me. I think we all hit a point in life where you realize just what life is. A series of unexpected bends and turns which often include departures of the ones we respect and value even if we don’t realize it at the time. This is exactly what happened in this scene. These two characters and individuals balanced each other out. There cannot be one without the other yet they both seek to destroy one another.
This IS my favorite movie, hands down.
Abraham Rodriguez not hands down - but HOLDING HANDS
Kryshtof If only they waited a bit longer...then it would have been legal for them to get married.
Tears in my eyes
this film was 100% genius, perfectly directed, beautifully acted, loved the scene when neil walked away from his woman near the end knowing he would never see her again, the hole film was a 1 off, never again will we have a crime drama this good.

The decision to go to the hotel and then the look he gives her… wow
I don’t understand how this film wasn’t more critically acclaimed.
who disliked this soundtrack? really
Prophet Ares Wangrow, Vanzant and a bunch of their guys...
David Louis lmao
WOW, what an ending. This is an unbelievable piece of music.
Pacino - You are going doooooowwwwwwn.
DeNiro - I'm double the worst trouble you ever had.
Kilmer - I'm so happy to be in a movie with you guys...
Haha, that dialogue is killer but De Niro said it in a cut scene😅😅
Best film ever

told you i'm never going back
In my opinion I think this is a good song to play when someone dies
I really think McCauley stood down and let Hanna take him out. He knew revenge in going after Waingro was his demise. He lost the exit to freedom, he lost Eddy and he was never going to get away even if he killed Hanna who he finally realized was his only friend. He wasn't going back especially knowing he killed that friend so he stood down, showed his shadow to Hanna who instinctively shot him. Watch the ending again and the split second delay on McCauley's part. All he wanted was his friend to hold his hand as he left this world. GREAT ENDING to GREAT MOVIE. A Mann masterpiece.
The real song from this scene! Yeahhh
Heat is the greatest movie of all time..it is simply brilliant.
One of the best movies i've ever seen!
"Who, who? What are ya, a fuckin' owl?"
They both did what they told, respect.
One of the greatest movies..
Cuz there's a dead guy on the other end of this fuckin line...
lines will come and lines will go but this line/dialogue will go on forever. DE niro is GOD.
This song gives me shivers and is from the movie with the best quote of all time.
best quote? 30 seconds
Val Kilmer was such a badass in this film
This is the last seen in the movie: "i told you i wasn't going back" 👍✊👊
this movie is a masterpiece. it is the best movie ever.......
scarface is better
No.....
Heat is perfect movie but scarface in my opinion is better.
i respect your opinion but Heat gathered the best. Robert De Niero and Al pacino which makes it better than Scarface in my opinion.
Al Pacino and Robert De Niro best actors ever..
One of the greatest movies ever made with the soundtrack fitting perfectly with every scene
Thank you!!! The version on the OST CD has the original Moby version - it doesnt have the deep "booming" sounds or the crescendo after 1.15 ... thank you!!
I love this. So much.
movie was a huge inspiration to grand theft auto 5

I told you I’m never going back
Yeahh…
Nice to finally hear the movie version of this track, by far the best version..
This song was playing when my wife walked down the aisle
When I leave this world I want this playing at my funeral
The final scene in Heat where DeNiro's character "Neil McCauley" dies is all the more a tragic ending because he and Vincent Hanna are two sides of the same coin. In a way, it was like Hanna was forced to kill his own brother, the evil twin version of himself. An amazing and powerful film; my all-time favorite.
McCauley: Yeah, it is what it is. It's that or we both better go do something else, pal.
Hanna: I don't know how to do anything else.
McCauley: Neither do I.
Hanna: I don't much want to either.
McCauley: Neither do I.
EPIC

mohammad Ali saad "Yeah..."
Master piece of a movie the best combination of actors.
Vincent Hanna: You know, we are sitting here, you and I, like a couple of regular fellas. You do what you do, and I do what I gotta do. And now that we've been face to face, if I'm there and I gotta put you away, I won't like it. But I tell you, if it's between you and some poor bastard whose wife you're gonna turn into a widow, brother, you are going down.
Neil McCauley: There is a flip side to that coin. What if you do got me boxed in and I gotta put you down? Cause no matter what, you will not get in my way. We've been face to face, yeah. But I will not hesitate. Not for a second.
This film is Beautiful !!!!!
