They've been getting it right for a few years now. I have their Scuru S7 and it cleverly comes with a passive radiator behind the tiny speaker that compensates for bass frequencies, however due to that fact you can't lie it flat on a table like the Lorcan. It sounds quite ok for practice, too, much better than toys like the Marshall MS-2. I haven't used it in a while, but when I pushed it with an overdrive I felt like Brian May with the Deacy amp 😆. Yeah, I listend to a few demos some time ago and the Lorcan is definitely a few steps above, it's the practice amp we all wished we had when we started 20-30 years ago.
It's exactly that isn't it. We all hoped the ms2 would sound as good as it looked but it was all for show. This really nails the tone and on a decent budget too
A neat thing. I like Caline effects very much, I have about +- 20 of them. I'm currently using the Joyo Buddy Jam (maybe I'm spelling it correctly) for travel or vacation, I've even connected it to the Nux MG 300 multi-effect, it works. Greetings Pavel CZ
I was sceptical but this sounded legit not shit. I was expecting MS-2 from at least the distortion, and while the sound wasn’t for me the distortion was definitely usable. Really impressed
Yes, it is the ultimate portable guitar amp. With cables included to power 3 petals. I put an Ampeg SCR-DI in front of it and would use this in the studio as a tone machine rather than exposing it to the mishaps of the street. It can drive an external cabinet. My cube street is much more durable and loud. So what, this tiny boom box sized amp has tone.
Yeah, that's actually pretty decent. Well done caline
I know right 👍
When you held it up I didn't think there was any way I would like it but I was pretty impressed.
I was as surprised as you when I first plugged it in. It looks like a toy but actually sounds pretty decent

Caline do make some fantastic stuff, this one really surprised me 👍 thanks for the comment 😊

I am going to write to Caline and show them they now have a new tagline. The Caline Lorcan - 'legit not shit'
I don't really have any use for one, but it sounds great! Great vid, thanks.
Yeah, it's quite a niche product for sure but it sounds way better than you'd expect too

Yeah, I was really impressed with it. I expected the tiny speakers to sound as bad as they looked but they really kick out some pleasing EQ.
@@BudgetPedalChap I slaved my transistor Marshal, w/the Caline as the Head and OMG 💚
It has no business being as good as it is. I’m decently impressed. I don’t think I’d buy one but I’m not mad at it
I know what you mean. It looks like it'll sound terrible but actually gives a really decent tone. It's crazy huh?
That didn't sound as bad as expected...
I know man, everything we learnt about tone is a lie 🤣🤣🤣
Instant click....this should be good!
How'd you find it? Decent tones eh?
@@BudgetPedalChap Very much...not sure Id ever need this but for some I'm sure this could be a great tool. As always great demo
