Anker has become quite the contender in the audio space, considering they were initially a charger/battery bank brand. My first pair of Anker/Soundcore earbuds were the "Sport Air" series, which were a budget replacement for my old Powerbeats 2. They weren't "TWS", but for their price the battery life was INSANE (10 hrs vs 5-6 max on the aforementioned Beats) and the sound was a pleasant surprise for $30ish dollars. When I finally wanted to get into some TWS style ear buds, I went for the Life Dot 2's for $50 when they first launched. They currently hold the record for the longest lasting battery life out of any product I own (10 hrs per bud, and 90 hrs w/ the case! It can literally recharge both buds around 4x each before needing to charge the case itself--I haven't seen that level of performance even in the modern lineup, but features + quality have gone up astronomically). Said case is quite large/bulky unfortunately, making them more of an option I find myself using with my PC when my over-ear SteelSeries Siberia 800s start to bother me after extended use. They also sound pretty damn good without any Soundcore App or EQ support. They have a native "noise cancelling" of sorts, mainly from the fact that the seal they provide in your ear is almost like an ear plug. However, I've been using the Galaxy Buds+ that I got as a Christmas gift with my phone, and the ambient sound option has been a real game changer (it just sounds too "artificial" and muffled for what I really need though). The case is nice and compact, but has way less capacity. I often have to recharge it after using both buds all day. They also don't seem to stay in as well as the Life Dot 2's, and as such the sound/bass is less present to me. Even with the "dynamic" EQ setting in the Samsung App. The Space A40s seem to be the perfect blend of all the options I'm looking for (ANC, LDAC, Transparency/Ambient sound, App support, good battery life w/ the buds AND case, and case size). The only concern I have is that the Transparency mode can't be used with just one ear bud from what I've seen (the Galaxy Buds+ support this option) and I find myself using only one bud more often than both, but having one ear open and one blocked off feels very unnatural to me. Unless the feature works well enough with both buds in that it doesn't affect being able to have a conversation with someone. Sorry for the small essay, I just wanted to give some context on my history w/ Soundcore products and see if these would be worth the upgrade from the Galaxy Buds+, thanks for all who take the time to read!
Quer usar apenas um lado como falou use headset compacto discreto e elegante bem mas prático do que andianta tanto tecnologia para usar apenas um lado meu outro ouvido irá sentir falta
One cool feature is these buds have multipoint connectivity! So you can pair to two devices simultaneously. On a $99 pair of buds with these features, that's legit.
I have the A40s. The sound quality is great, they're comfortable to wear, good battery life, very good ANC, but transparency mode feels artificial and unnatural. They've also been a little glitchy with my pixel 7
I bought both of them. Already received L3P and it is outstanding. You will l9ve these.. A40 will arrive soon. I already know how good is it but you can't surpass lows that L3P can produce.
*I really dig this channel!* 😄 I agree, these are fantastic. I like almost everything about them more than the _Liberty 3 Pros,_ *except the sound.* Doesn't mean they sound bad, but if sound quality is your priority, IMO the extra $30 is well worth it for the L3P. 😎👍 Plus, if you do prioritize sound, the 10 hours of battery drops when ANC and ldac are in use. *Addendum:* I love the HearID feature.
Used to have the disc man anti skip cd player tucked in the hoody in the back of the class lol of course other days it was the Gameboy stashed in the hoody front pocket 😂
Thanks for the review, you basically draw the attention of the youtubes with your sense of humor ! How's the volume on these ? I always find the best earbuds in terms of features but get stuck on the volume.. I like the music very high !
I am seriously looking at getting these to replace my Earfun Free Pro. Also since I have the Liberty 3 Pro, makes sense to expand the family. Glad you did this review as it makes me considering these much easier. Thx!!
i have received mine yesterday and did alot of testing eartips and EQ and the bass is lacking my cheaper soundcore life a3i and the earfun free pro 2 have more bass, your reaction at 9:53 kind of gave me the idea that they do not sound as close to the L3P, they sound ok but nothing special at this price even the ANC, i might return them
Dude have u tried the new jbl encore Essential mate do a review on this speaker I wanna see ur face when u put the bass on it dude I baught it and mate u will love it man
I just got 2 pairs of these about 3 weeks ago! My Galaxy Buds 2 stopped producing enough sound in the right earbud and I lost the right side earbud which you need for the left side to work. These a40's are great and they're cheaper than both the Jabra Elite 75t and Galaxy Buds 2 by $50!!
I tried the Space A40, but ended up returning them, the bass is severely lacking. They're perfect in every other way, but I just need more powerful bass. My top picks right now are Donner DoBuds One, Soundcore Life Note 3 XR, and Soundcore A3i.
I've got expensive earbuds and headphones and wanted some cheap buds for in the house and got the p2 mini and I'm impressed with sound quality and the bass. Was gonna get some of these for the extra features. But I like bass and your comments put me off. But I use the poweramp app as well with its own 10 band EQ so that gives my headphones an extra bass boost.
Fyi- I tried using a larger earbud tip but they became an issue with fitting into the case properly and as a result, t wouldn't pair or connect with my phone.
Hi man could you please tell me how the life a1's are ? Buying for gym use. Any other alternatives for the same price ? To be fair i got it on Amazon for £20 off. Thanks.
So my soundcore liberty air 2's right earbud stopped working partially, and I'm going on a trip in a few days, in your opinion which is better, this one or the sony linkbuds s, and in what ways?
I was thinking about upgrading from my Life note 3, but hear that they sound not very Good. What you mean about sound being muddy? And maybe you can return them...

Ok ... I haven't been greeted as "Home Slice" since I walked into the gym back in 1988. Sub'd and liked for that alone.
Welcome to the party Home Slice! 👊🏾
How would you compare the A40's with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro's?
Your intro.. It reminded me so much of what I used to do when I was young !😅

How do these compare to the new samsung buds pro?

how do you turn volume up and down? Still can't figure out😭
Hello friend, do these Space A40 have splash resistance (IPXX)?
Ipx4
You gettin' skinnier every time I see you😇
Now you mentioned how to hide your jamming I remember my big chunky yellow walkman 😎🤣 yeah I was ghetto!
Haha! That's what's up!
How are they in comparison to the soundcore sport x10? I was just about to order the Red ones.
Soundwise the same. That one is really all about fit, form factor and how you intend to use them.
Did you say these buds have better bass than the others?
They definitely do not. The bass is quite lacking in these.
I'm getting me some for sho
Do they auto pair like the Pixel Buds?
No, but one they're paired for the 1st time... they connect to your phone a soon as you open the case.
That works too. Was just curious. Thanks!
