the A40's are outstanding. the only thing i don't like is the gloss finish b/c these buds are soo small that it makes it difficult to seat them in your ear wells correctly without your fingers slipping off the earbud body's glossy finish. (not much to grab onto b/c they are so small - so the glossy finish works against you when trying to seat them properly in your ear canals) however - once seated they don't move and stay seated nicely even when chewing gum, walking, running, working out, etc. outside of that - they are stellar. shocking thing is how powerful the noise-cancelling is once set up through their soundcore app. excellent product.
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
Love my liberty pro 3s. Got my wife a pair a while back and she never heard of them and she loved the way they sound. I remember I got my 3s for 100 at best buy deal of the day. I must've opened my 3s 50 times on day one. Love that slide. On the test the 3s were better the newer soundcore has echo and the other are muffled
I skipped the a40 since I already have the Liberty 3 Pro. I DID however get the q45 for my girl. ...and the q30 for me since neither one of us had over ear phones.
The battery life of the a40 is kind of swaying me away from my l3p. I do have the q30’s also and am checking out the reviews to see if it’s worth upgrading to the q45
I own both the XM4s and I just got the Samsung Buds 2 Pro..... I love my Sony's in the office because of the ANC..... These things block out everything. If I don't need that level of ANC, I love the sound quality of these Samsung's..... Like you said..... You can't really go wrong. It's all in what you need.
The Soundcore Liberty Pro 3 have not let me down so far. They really came in clutch when I was at a very loud program, and it allowed me to hear everything without damaging my ears.
I have had 2 sets of soundcore liberty 3 pros - soundwise they are spectacular but they have quality issues with the battery. 1st set battery life became something like 30 mins after a year of use. 2nd set are 3 months old but the right earbud regularly discharges or doesn't charge while in the case so you end up not being able to use them when needed. just RMAd them again and waiting for my Samsung Galaxy buds 2 Pro now. Hopefully the sound will be as good as the Soundcore L3P
My final pick is the same as well. My Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro's are just that good. They did a really good job of tuning these earbuds, and that case IS satisfying. Lol. Keep up the great content bruh. Maybe we can collaborate on a project in the future. Be blessed.
When we were kids here in Manchester, England we used to say 'do you want a bunch of fives' when threatening to punch a friend or enemy. Ergo, five most definitely is a bunch. Lol.
maybe for the next comparison, compare it to a more similar price range, so the A40 will compete closer to regular buds 2, Senny's CX , or something along the line, while the buds 2 Pro will more suitably competes with liberty 3 pro, Linkbuds S, CX plus, etc
I love, love, love my Soundcore liberty 3 pro’s. I have quite a few different ear buds and headphones and they sounds better than all of them. I like them even better than my AirPod Max’s.
In my region, Amazon sells the Xm4 for $181, Liberty 3 Pro "black color $161, purple $123" & the Buds 2 pro for $145. different pricing than yours, so I bought the Buds 2 pro for the low price & quality.
I do have to suggest Tempo 30s..like $40-50 I think but easily the best sound, features, and battery life for buds of the year. Months later...I still use them everyday.....
For call quality, Liberty 3 pro for me gave an impression of a near-studio-like environment. Samsung galaxy buds 2 Pro sounded natural for me. The other 2 are like so synthetic for me that they sounded (for me) like you were in a tunnel. Samsung has an app - sound assistant - that gives you customisable EQ and hearing test for personalised sound quality whether you are using a wired or a wireless buds or headset. And it has been around for many years now. I discovered it back in a day when I was still using Galaxy S7 edge. The extra hearing for ambient sound is in galaxy buds pro that I use. I don't know why samsung didn't include it in the newer version. Perhaps it can be damaging to our hearing? I don't know, I can't use the max level of it because it's too loud for me. And it irritates me when the buds pro detects a loud sound on one side and ducts it (on that same side) - it makes me feel like I'm losing my hearing on one ear for a while ahaha. I just up the volume a bit after adjusting it to my normal hearing so I can still hear normally even with background music.
The Liberty Pro 3s are the the best earbuds I've ever owned, the call quality even in an environment like industrial work, I can have a conversation without shouting the whole time. And the music is second to none, super deep bass with while being able to hear every instrument with clarity.
I love my Liberty 3 Pros. Only problem I have is the case slides open when I have them hooked on my belt buckle and my phone connects to them when I don't want it to. I just put it in my pocket and that solves that problem. Sound Quality is on point and I love the ANC
I really like my liberty 3 pros and just keep an eye out for them, I got my for $100 on special. For me I believe if you need to have 10h of battery time the a40 is what you need but for calls and sound quality for $100 to $130 is a bargain.
Meh just ordered the space A40s for $80... Wondering if I'll regret it. I was used to Jabra elite 75ts which are really good too. I'm spoiled 😬 i may have to send the space a40s back and get the liberty 3 pros if the sound quality of the space a40s doesn't suffice :((((( but if it's really worth the extra 50.. idk. May look out for a sale.
Yeah no..just got them today. Sound is okay but not that crisp and also the bass is lacking for me. I'm getting Jabra elite 75ts again lol. They also have mechanical buttons as opposed to the touch thing which i think is kind of annoying for earbuds. So flimsy. And i already know the bass is banging and the instruments crisp. Probably l3pros have better sound even but nah not worth the hassle lol
@@oceanlawnlove8109 I owned the 75t amd the elite active 75t there's not one feature on the 75t that are as good as the 3 pro. 3 pro has better everything but in sound they absolutely smoke the 75t's . If I were you I'd grab the 3 pro when theyre on sale at best buy or Amazon for 99.99 and if ya don't agree ya can always return em. Just imagine your 75ts but with more bass more mids and way crisper highs amd a much better accompanying app for tuning . Jabra app is good but soundcores is great and if ya got a phone that has ldac amd listen to decent platform like amazon HD or tidal are my favorites there's no doubt a difference in sound but even if y a rocked an iPhone with none of those audio codecs the 3 pro still smoke the 75ts. That all bein said when jabra added the anc that was pretty damn cool and even last wi ter they had the 75t for 79.99 everywhere amd the active 75t for 99.99 and even at those prices I'd still pay full price of 169 for the 3 pro over them . Sound is subjective but I too loved sound of 75t but they're nowhere near the sound of soundcore 3 pro and I didn't order the a40 because I know they wouldn't touch the 3 pro and after watchin review after review those reviewers all state what I knew. At end of day it's tough for a si gle driver to touch a bud with driver and armature especially if they're tuned well.
Your review is perfect I currently use soundcore liberty 3 pro and these are amazing 😎 I too changed eartips to one's just like Sony uses and on plane ride anc is amazing soundcore just knocks it out of the park especially with sound and app settings imo... ✌️
I just bought the A40..arriving tomorrow...already got the buds pro 2. I lost one of my Liberty pro 3...so I don't wear that anymore. Lost of the XM 4s too. Best noise cancelation out of all them though.
@Widget the A40s are legit..good battery..can be used on two devices at the same time. Centered sound. Good fit. Liberty Pro 3 got better noise cancelation..very good sound..hooks for the ears of course...good battery..definitely better if you want to pay more.
A40 fits really well; exercise with no issue. Tinny transparency mode; advised to turn down volume and will check that out. Case charged buds died before 3 hours; will charge overnight and see if it does any better. ANC doesn't help much in the midrange. Starbucks music still clearly heard while on ANC and listening to my music. For $80 and comparing to competition, not a bad buy. For $80 it's okay, but if you can spring for $180 the Sony WF-1000XM4 is much better, but more than double the cost. If you think you are going to lose a bud while exercising, the A40 may be better.
Thank you... i was looking for this coment before i asked... that 10 hours sounded wayyy too good to be true and makes all the others look bad since they are the smallest
I had the liberty 3 pros and while their sound profile and features are incredible, I did find that over time, the wingtips would stretch slightly making them uncomfortable in ear after a while . The buds would end up twisting slightly in the tips making them sit slightly off when in ear even when realign the tips with the unit , they would still end up being misaligned. Such a shame given the features and sound quality you get with them they're let down on this point . Not sure if it's just me who has found this issue with them over time but , still a let down
Liberty 3pro had the best drivers w co axial build. Beats everything out there .. only gripe I had w the libery pro 3 was the accentuated highs at 8to10 kHz .. but otherwise best bang for the buck without a doubt .. anker u come a long way
I _really_ wanted to like the L3P's, but I went through THREE sets of them (2 from Amazon, 1 from Walmart), all having the same issue with audio drops. Especially at the gym. The sound and app are amazing. Louder and boomier than my WF-1000 XM4 buds. I recently got the Soundcore Sport X10's but sent those back because the ear tips didn't seat far enough in my ears; causing a poor seal. Friday I got the Jabra Elite 4 Actives, and so far I really enjoy their sound and fit.
The problem I can definitely relate. I have L3P but ended up bought Jabra 7 Pro as well. Love the sound and call quality of the L3P. Unfortunately, Jabra fits my ear so much better. However, I always have problem talking on the phone using the 7 Pro which is irony considering Jabra is known for their communication devices. The other persons I talked to always complain they couldn't hear me. So, my conclusion is sounds and mic = L3P, fit and comfort = Jabra.
@@emmanuel8582 The problem I had with them was when I was at the gym the audio would sporadically drop out for a second, which was quite annoying. Amusingly enough, I just ordered my _fourth_ set, and I'll see if any updates resolved the issue when I hit the gym at 3am this morning. They do sound really good, even without LDAC on. If I experience the same issue I'm going to begrudgingly move on.
@@marym8799 I actually had the Jabra Elite 4 Actives for working out, and while at home they fit and sounded awesome. But for some reason they sounded tinny and anemic at the gym; like I couldn't get a good seal. I was finally able to get a better fit, but I kept having to adjust the buds.
Im a basshead but want decent connectivity/codec and good mic. Between these which fit best? Or you have other suggestion max 200 bucks? JBL live free 2 JBL Tour Pro+ JBL Live Flex (does someone have these?) Oppo enco x2 Soundcore Liberty 4 Thank you 😊
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro or Sony wf-1000xm4? The original buds pro fit terrible and the anc was not that good :/ (Sony are cheaper as well in my country) What should I get?
I’m basically all in on the a40 but only because of the size of the liberty 3 pro. I’ve been bothered for months by the soundpeats mini pro’s plastic part sitting on my ear well. Does the liberty 3 pro sit outside the ear like that or a less annoying comfort level?
I wanted to retire the Buds Pro and L3P after purchasing the Buds2 Pro, because I carry 3 kind of earbuds for different situations, the Bass on the Buds 2 pro is insane But!!! the lack of full EQ on the Buds2 Pro is enough to keep the L3P in my backpack, the L3P no matter what other youtubers say are still some of the best in the business, the XM4s sound great but the call quality and the bulkiness made me return them.
How you Gon make a video comparing earbuds and not mention the actual audio quality from music you playing a single time lol????? You're sympathetic but this review is missing basic stuff. Also why not mention how much battery life there is in the case? It's a quick fact to mention a lot of people care about
Never heard about the jabra 75T elite. Can someone tell me if they have good sound quality and if they have good punchy bass? Compare to the sennheiser momemtum 3 or the soundcore Liberty 3 pro, does the jabra 75T has better bass? Thank you eveyone 👍👍😃
I own the Jabra Elite Active 65t and I gotta tell you this thing's awesome, also the big brother 75t too. The Anc is good and the ambience sound, especially the bass. The only problem I faced is the fit, this earbud is pretty big for my small ear. I can get discomfort after 3-4 hrs of listening. But if you have bigger ear than mine it shouldn't be worried.
What are you talking about the liberty 3 Pros have less battery life with noise cancelling on than the supposed Samsung buds 3Pro. Liberty get like 4 and a half hours with noise cancelling on
This is off topic. I bought a marshall major iv the same time I bought a galaxy buds pro and the major iv disappointed me because the music clips and lose tempo when I was just sitting in front of my phone (Note20 Ultra). I think it got something to do with the Bluetooth codec. I don't have that issue while listening with buds so I returned the major iv. But I need a headphone more than these buds that I just bought together with major iv because they were more portable. I'm now thinking of buying the more expensive marshall monitor. I'm not upgrading my Note20 Ultra until it wears down. I'm kinda skeptical about buying another marshall. But I think they should sound better than samsung's. Maybe I just got a defective major iv. Should I give marshall monitor ii a try? Will they sound and perform so much better than the cheaper major iv?
I have liberty 3 pros, and wanted earbuds that are much smaller, but with a sound quality at least coming close to the Liberty 3 pros. Are the A40s the earbuds I'm looking for?
@@user-fi6hg8vq6c I have a number of different types of earbuds, and the Liberty 3 pros are the only ones that, due to their design, will occasionally fall out of my ears. Anyone can make a very good sounding earbud if it's big enough! To me, the art is to make it small and still make it sound good.
Nice review boss .. However I'm going for the Sony Xm4 man it's just that GOOD!! It has everything I need soundcore is alright but the Sony just destroys them for me.
Don't know how you can say destroys any earbuds. I've had sony XM3, XM4, linkbud s and they only have half the volume of any of the others. I don't need excellent noise cancelling and sound quality I barely can hear
Bang for buck..Earfun, Soundpeats and now Soundcore. Nothing beats the Soundcore app. The big boys like Galaxy, Sony, Apple, etc better take notice. Premium sound and features...hard to beat pal. Love u bro...keep churning the videos out.
I need to get some new earbuds for working out. I like the ones I have but I want to try some with transparency, noise cancel, etc. How is the new phone working out for you?
@@jessa.3857 not at all. I do run 5-10km at least 3-5x/week or skipping ropes. So far, i haven’t encounter what you are saying. Am using xm4s, xb700 & x50bs. What i encounter is sometimes the xb700 gets disconnected. But not an issue for me

For $80 it's okay, but if you can spring for $180 the Sony WF-1000XM4 is much better, but more than double the cost. If you think you are going to lose a bud while exercising, the A40 may be better.
It’s 10 hours with anc off for spacea40s and 50 hours with case if the anc is on you get 8 hours and 40 in the case
Thank you... i was looking for this coment before i asked... that 10 hours sounded wayyy too good to be true and makes all the others look bad since they are the smallest
It’s crazy how much better battery life e the a40 has over the l3p
@@user-fi6hg8vq6c THE WINNER agrees 👍
Thanks to you! Bought them 🔥🔥🔥
You good sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.. thank you!!
Not sure if it's just me who has found this issue with them over time but , still a let down
which one do you recommend between samsung buds pro and soundcore liberty 3 pro?
Own both xm4's and LP3's. Battery life is miles better on the Xm4's.
Spinfit cp 360 My Lovely Eartips 🥰 i have Soundcore Life Q35 and the Sound Quality is Good 😁 i Will pick up Space A40 for my New Tws, Nice Review 😁👍
Wasn't the problem with the l3ps fixed with an update? Or am I mistaken?
JBL live free 2
JBL Tour Pro+
JBL Live Flex (does someone have these?)
Oppo enco x2
Soundcore Liberty 4
Thank you 😊
Which headset has the louder sound? I like to listen to songs in a loud voice.
Samsung? Anker?
Wish I was in a world where everyone would post RUclips reviews as good as yours
WHICH ONE IS GOOD TO SLEEP WITH?
I bought liberty 3 pro but I dont like the colorway I got so I ordered A40. Now I can really compare which one is better
So which one is better?
The 3 pro definitely.
You should've added the Linkbuds S, but great video as always.
Have you tried the ToZo/T-12Pro’s?
Liberty 3 pro sounds pretty solid.
I tried both the sound cores the Buds 2 pro are way louder and has way more bass...!!
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro or Sony wf-1000xm4? The original buds pro fit terrible and the anc was not that good :/
(Sony are cheaper as well in my country) What should I get?
Over all bud 2 pro if you care about anc go with sony
@@sebichaosyou can get the same anc with the buds 2 pro as xm4 when using foam tips. Try using xm4 with silicone tips and you see what I mean
I’m basically all in on the a40 but only because of the size of the liberty 3 pro. I’ve been bothered for months by the soundpeats mini pro’s plastic part sitting on my ear well. Does the liberty 3 pro sit outside the ear like that or a less annoying comfort level?
Great review! Thanks.
I purchased the Sony’s almost a year ago. Now, they last no longer than 20 minutes without needing to be recharged. Save the money and go sound core
Pretty sure you have a defective, homs.
I ve big ear so I fit my liberty 3 pro , looks sexy in purple color and sticks well..
I like your style dude ... keep it up ! 😂
hello! does the spinfit cp360 fit on these? does it fit in the charging case?
are l3p good choice for bass head after some "improvements" in eq to make trebles not that bright?
They are still good.
Liberty 3 pro for the win. Probably the best earbuds I have ever had.
Me too. I have the xm3 also
@@elmaster6207 bud2 more bass the liberty?
what about latency while watching movies etc?
@@Fabian-gi5tg No issues at all
Broooooo!!! Where’d you get th@ shirt?!!? 💥💥🔥🔥🔥💥💥
Which eartips did you put on your liberty 3 pros? I'm looking for some different ones
Thanks man!!
How you Gon make a video comparing earbuds and not mention the actual audio quality from music you playing a single time lol????? You're sympathetic but this review is missing basic stuff. Also why not mention how much battery life there is in the case? It's a quick fact to mention a lot of people care about
Finally some1 who doesnt call the xm4 "mark 4" 😁
amazing review
well done
The L3 Pro were my favorite until I got the 1 More Evos..
I loved the Buds 2 pro 😍
Bro is the soundcore liberty 3 pro better than Jabras 75 t? What about the bass?
Never heard about the jabra 75T elite. Can someone tell me if they have good sound quality and if they have good punchy bass? Compare to the sennheiser momemtum 3 or the soundcore Liberty 3 pro, does the jabra 75T has better bass?
Thank you eveyone 👍👍😃
$30.00 tranya T30 big boom for the money!!
Awesome....u gotta try E-40 Bamboo song to test the Bass..I know u love music!
LMAO at comment at 9:25!!
I have liberty 3 pros, and wanted earbuds that are much smaller, but with a sound quality at least coming close to the Liberty 3 pros. Are the A40s the earbuds I'm looking for?
A40’s are also calling me from my liberty 3 pros for the same reasons
@@user-fi6hg8vq6c I have a number of different types of earbuds, and the Liberty 3 pros are the only ones that, due to their design, will occasionally fall out of my ears. Anyone can make a very good sounding earbud if it's big enough! To me, the art is to make it small and still make it sound good.
Same here.
My liberty 3 pros battery life is ass. They sound amazing but the battery life does not last any longer than 2 hours at medium volume.
2 is a couple, 3-4 is a few, and 5 is a handful lol
Can anyone recommend good, aftermarket tips for the Galaxy Buds 2 pros?
Check a company called SpinFit. They should have something in the works.
I love my airpod pros but they’re dropping the ball on not having a dedicated “sound” app
lovely review, wish i had as much energy haha :)
I need to get some new earbuds for working out. I like the ones I have but I want to try some with transparency, noise cancel, etc. How is the new phone working out for you?
Try sony if you are for music. You won’t regret it
@@emmanuelcueto4861 Sonys are too heavy. They will slide right off his ears after sweating and moving around in the gym.
@@jessa.3857 not at all. I do run 5-10km at least 3-5x/week or skipping ropes. So far, i haven’t encounter what you are saying.
Am using xm4s, xb700 & x50bs. What i encounter is sometimes the xb700 gets disconnected. But not an issue for me
Which fit the best and DONT LOSE SEAL after sweating and moving around in the gym?
All of them do this this will always happen best shot is an ear hook
Bud
