Hey there! Thanks for tuning in :) I forgot to mention the HEAR ID sound test which tailors the sound to your specific hearing. For me it didn't really do anything but it is nice they kept that feature there as I have heard this improves the sound for some people.
Hi back at ya, my head is scrambled after watching all of your comparison videos! (great advice though, as I did manage to cross a few off). I think I've got it down to 3 now!!! Which would you go for out of these: earfun air pro sv @ £48, Anker Liberty 4 @ £112, Soundcore Space A40 @ £67 UK price. Thanks :)
Their customer service is top notch in my experience as well. I have a pair of Liberty 2 Pro (LDAC version) and a button was beginning to stick. I emailed them and they sent me a brand new pair and let me keep the old pair as well. I've got those, Q30s (right before the Q35s with LDAC came out) and Dot 2s for hiking since the battery case and earbuds have 100hrs of battery life and they absolutely won't fall out during heavy activities. I'm a customer for life unless something drastic changes.
They do have a great customer service. I bought a Q30 as a Christmas gift for my brother in 2022. Now I have 3. The fist one's headband started breaking after a few months (not an uncommon occurrence according to reddit). Anker sent a replacement and told me to keep the broken one. We fixed it with a couple of screws and I kept it for myself, while my brother took the new one from RMA. During the last months, the headband pad started to come off and one of the ear pads started to tear on both my brother's headphones and mine. Exact same thing a few months apart, and we are both _very_ careful with our stuff. Anker sent replacement headphones again for my brother's (which was still under warranty) and told us again to keep the old ones. We were able to buy replacement ear pads from a third party seller for ~$25 (20 € actually) and somewhat fix the unglued headband pads. So now we have three functional headphones... but they also all have visible, ugly screws on the headband to fix or prevent it from breaking, and god only know how long it will be before the pads start tearing again or something else goes wrong. While getting free products is certainly interesting, I still think I'd rather get one reliable product than a bunch of unreliable ones.
Thank you for including the gym workout with different exercises to test the fit. Nobody does that in their reviews. I found it extremely useful. Also, thanks for the microphones test on the street. Excellent review!
I have the A40s and I think they're great. I think their ANC is right up there with the best- better than Sony & Bose for me. The battery life is great- at least 8 hours with ANC on. They are very small & fit great & are stable in the ears. Overall, they're a great budget choice. I highly recommend!
I have 2x the features for half the price of my buddies headphones. He's obsessed with thinking you need to spend $200-300 on a pair of earbuds or headphones to get good sound quality and other good features.
Just bought Liberty 3 pro for 99 usd, best deal ever! I'll just say this, for this great quality they Anker could easily pitch the price higher, but they love their customers. So yeah.
I've got both of these, returning the a40 due to constant call drops. Thought i'd try the liberty 4s instead. Out of the box the a40s sound better, good balanced sound lacking slighlty in scale and bass, but good overall. The liberty 4s are shocking out the box, piercingly bright, trailing edge of instruments and vocals are an awful screech fest. Hear id sound curve reigned them in a bit but they're still bright af. Using LDAC and tidal
Thanks I just got the A40's on your recommendation on sale in Oz for $97 just can't beat them such a good product I also have their Q35's another top quality bit of kit.
I got my liberty pro 3s for 80 dollars. When I do meetings on Teams with them, everyone says that it sounds like I'm on my phone directly and not earbuds, that it is extremely clear.
Thanks for another fantastic review as always! These videos are gold to have to make an informed purchase. It takes a lot of work to make them I'm sure, so just wanted to say we really appreciate them!
Great review man, appreciate it. Was wondering if you have any insight into whether the Space A40 would be stable enough for running? Is the IPX4 waterproofness rating any concern at all while running outdoor in the rain/in high humidity?
Thanks bro! Yep ipx4 is fine for that. For me they’re definitely stable enough and should work for most ears. Only way to know for sure is to try them yourself.
@@pickyaudio appreciate the prompt reply. I'm in between these and the Jabra Elite 7 Active, so I guess I'll chew on it a bit more and eventually pull the trigger on one of them.
Liberty 4 was a bit of letdown for me. ANC was average at best compared to the liberty 3 pro and A40. Liberty 3 pro have the best sound and ANC out of the 3. A40 has such a monster battery life, fit is great and ANC is quite close to the LP3. Skip the liberty 4!
Great video as always! Quick question, which earbuds would you recommend as having good call quality in noisy environments (windy conditons outdoors and inside public transport mainlyl) for a 60-80$ budget? Thanks!

dangit, watch another one of your vids and got really excited aboit these, but i needed a pair with Button control, to press through my hat at work. Everything was perfect before touch control :(
Have them and love them if only they would stay in my ears. None of the extra ear pieces work for this issue - tried them all. One can fall out while I am sitting down having a conversation. I now wear a hat that covers my ears when I take a walk so I don’t lose them when they fall out of my ears. A casual walk, not a power walk. Maybe it is something with the shape of my ear. I don’t just place them in, I twist them in. Bummed. Any suggestions?
