The Space 40's are great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I also have the Space Q45 headphones and they are also excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I recommend both of these highly!

I’m so impressed by your ability to repeat over and over Pop Pop Popsicle Ice Ice Icicle and never ONCE say Test test Testicle.
I think I’ve discovered a new challenge for parties. Saying Toy Boat Toy Boat Toy Boat Three times fast is so 1900s….lol. I’m so rarely in range of a cell signal the voice issue will mean little. We live at Sequoia National Park. Not much in the way of Cell Signals. Great Video. Very informative.

I have opted for the Soundcore A40. I rarely use it for phone calls. In terms of sound, the A40s are really convincing. By adjusting with the Equilizer in the app, everyone should find his sweet spot. The battery life is more than sufficient. Together with the app, the headphones are really fun and for a reasonable price.

I already have the Sony WH-1000XM5. I needed earbuds to listen to music at work without having to use the big XM5. The Soundcore Space A40 came in handy as it is cheaper and I didn't want to spend a lot for another expensive ear device. Overall it's very impressive for me. It looks smaller as compared to other flagship earbuds and doesn't stick out of your ears like the others. It's battery life is insane! The manufacturers could have offered a little more bass though but I guess with the price point, you can't get everything.

I’ve been enjoying the S40s for a couple of days now. I definitely hear the congestion in the lower midrange area. It is easy to eq out within the app. I find the eq in the app works fine for my purposes of getting a more balanced sound. Once I got the sound to my liking it has been smooth sailing. I would not be at all surprised if Soundcore updated the A40s firmware to improve call quality and transparency mode. I know they did for the L3P.

    • @corujariousa

I agree with you. I have been using the A40 for a week now. Battery life and sound are great. I have unusually narrow ear canals so even using the smallest tips I can't get a perfect seal, which impacts ANC but this is a problem I face with most earbuds. The Sony's and Shure that have foam tips work better for me on ANC alone. Keeping the earbuds in place while I am eating is a challenge for the same reason. I do not believe most people will have the same problem. Cheers.

I've been sober a good while now. Streaming content (music definitely included) all the time and distracting me from the funky world we are in. I have never owned a pair of ear buds that weren't in a cheap box from a relative or something as a gift. Recently got the space a 40s. Don't have much to compare to obv but was looking at a bose set that was similar priced to my 100ish budget at store at time. Due to some negative reviews on bose I got the a40s. Wow. Have I been missing out. These buds are now a part of me. They are awesome. Way more than I expected. Amazing sound...extremely comfortable with long uses...the battery life blows me away. I carry a decent amount of tech with me everywhere i go and I never have to worry about these dying.

    Live your videos.
What's the Edifier like for build, privacy and app for the earbuds?
I have the Edifier stax Spirit s3 and it's the worst audio purchase I've made. It's like a beta release. Button position means it's tricky to turn on when wearing. And forget using the button to turn it off. Even after 14 sec of pressing it won't turn off (I have to put a 3.5mm headphone cable in and remove it to turn off the Edifier). App crashes, fails to recognise the Edifier is connected so using modes isnt something I can do often. The app is poorly designed with key features several layers down and it started throwing out spam in Chinese.
Sound quality is very good as is battery life. I've just talked myself into something else! Either Sony link bud s at £120, JBL live pro 2 (if reduced) or perhaps one of the sound core Px stem designs. I was mostly after good ANC, good call quality, comfort, pocketability and ideally ones that stay in whilst doing yoga. Audio quality is important but not the key feature as I have decent iems etc for use at home. Any suggestions welcome!

As I've said previously, my prime earbuds are the *Liberty 3 Pros.* I own 3 pairs, and even sold my _Sony WF/XM4's_ to cover some of the cost. That said, I actually prefer virtually everything about the *Soundcore Space A40,* _except the sound._ So, I am actually considering sending them back,¹ just as I did after trying the *Edifier Neobuds Pro.*
My priorities are always *sound* and *battery.* Other criteria, while important to me, is going to be secondary.
Since you mentioned the fit of the L3P as a negative for you, I thought I would share that I actually find the L3P fit to be exceptional.²
I listen at home more often than anywhere else. So, with a good seal I find the difference between _Normal_ mode and _ANC_ negligible. Unless I am deliberately focusing on music, I may use _Normal_ mode to get that added battery.³
I was hoping the *A40s* would sound as good because I really don't like how the L3Ps sit in the charger. More than once I ended up with only one side charged, even after seeing both were connected before closing the case. Yet, upon opening the case, I see only one connected.⁴ 🤦🏼‍♂️
    *Disappointed Having Rated My Earbuds*
    Be well! 🙋🏼‍♂️
    ··•●✺●•··
¹ ─ I say, _"considering"_ because I may use them for my TV viewing, or audiobooks.
² ─ After many months, I suddenly had some soreness in my left ear. I simply changed to a smaller wing on that side and the soreness was gone (without losing the secure fit).
³ ─ But hey, that's why I own multiple pairs of L3P. This is primarily so I can use ANC and not worry about battery life.
⁴ ─ *THIS* is actually why I have 3 pairs instead of only two. 😏

I got the A40's a few days ago from Amazon on a very decent introductory discount.
I love the sound of these buds when they're in the Transparency and Noise Cancelling modes (though they have a bit more bass than I like if they're at the highest setting in Noise Canceling mode)-- but these earbuds sound AWFUL in Normal mode. They're don't just sound really tinny, but their volume drops substantially, like 20%, when I switch from either of the other two modes to Normal.
Seriously, they sound like someone tried (and failed) to bass-boost an old transistor radio from the 60's..
This isn't a seal issue with the ear tips; I tried several different sizes, and both silicone and memory foam ear tips, and even Soundcore's own app indicates that the fit is fine. Likewise, while adjusting the EQ and activating HearID changes the sound slightly, the extreme sound quality difference between Normal and the other modes is still shockingly apparent.
I've contacted Soundcore, but since none of the reviews or other comments I've read or watched have mentioned this, I'm thinking now that I just got a pair of buds with "issues", and I need to decide whether I want to either keep this pair of buds and live without listening to them in Normal mode--or exchange them and risk getting a pair with other quality issues.
If anyone is having or has had a similar experience, or they've had it with other Soundcore earbuds, I'd appreciate knowing if this is something an OTA update will fix... or if I should just trade these buds out and hope I get a pair that doesn'thach suge a huge difference between the sound quality of the different modes.
It's pretty disappointing, really; I have cheaper earbuds that, while having different tuning, sound much better than these A40's do when they're in what I would think of as the mode that most people use the most.

Just got this and the sound is ‘meh’. The only thing that stand out is the battery and form factor. If you are hoping getting good anc and sound dont buy this.

Because edifier neobuds pro anc doesnt seem good enough for me, i must skip space a40 sadly…. Even liberty 3 pro somehow doesnt last long in my stash…. Lets hope huawei freebuds 2 pro is truly live up to its hype (still on the way)

    • @SibTiger33
      @SibTiger33 Год назад

Sadly freebuds Pro 2 are not great for anc over hyped
But sound is good, multipoint with ldac is good, mics are good, pinch gesture annoying (moves bud) swipe up and down for volume is excellent and should be the standard. Overall freebuds Pro 2 not worth it but Huawei are close..

the a40 were my first twl earbuds. i returned them after 1 day. the build quality is ok but not good. the sound was too clean for me, even at the highest volume you couldnt feel the bass.and the eq dindt change much(as in the video said) they didnt move at all but my ears hurt after just 20mins.
i dont know which earbuds to pick. i need a good bass, secure fit and thats all. ANC, Transprancy can dont have to be top of all. Im now between the JBL Reflect Pro and the Jabra Elite Active 7(bur after the a40 im not sure about the fit cause they look so similar). any recommendations??

Just recently bought the a40 having used the p2 mini, p3i and p3 before and I'm shocked by how bad the a40 sounds. The sound is really muffled and there's no bass whatsoever, what makes things worst as you mentioned they don't work with the EQ well i can tweak the p3i much much better then the a40. I regretted the purchase from day 1...

You can't compare the discounted price of the Galaxy buds 2 to the MSRP of the soundcore when they were $20 off at launch. You either compare MSRP or you compare both discounted prices. Currently I can get the A40 for 80 bucks and I have to pay $120 for a brand new Galaxy buds 2 or 74 bucks for a refurbished pair.
People go out of their way to promote Samsung Buds and this artificially makes it look like they're offering a better bargain than they are. Space a40 we're launched at $80 once you factor in the discount

We compare the new prices in the market at the time of making the videos. Why do you think that we can't do that?

You need to TELL US your actual battery life rather than you had good experience.
My liberty 3 pro (I've exchanged and same result) gave me 3 hours of call time with EVERYT FEATURE TURNED OFF. their numbers are LIES!

You should know call time on all earbuds and headphones with Bluetooth is always less than half the advertised battery life cz it's calls not music movies which are what they are mainly meant for THE WINNER says!😌
